I liked everything about them. They were informative and did a good job. The final product was very good. They treated me very well over the phone and they knew as to what was going on at all times. My overall experience with them was great. However, I thought that their price was a little bit high. I would definitely use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I have used the services of TriVelo Carpentry and Handyman during the spring of last year. They replaced a sliding door at my house.
I've hired Mike (Trivelo Carpentry & Handyman) several times for jobs I had around the house, and he has consistently amazed me with his handyman/carpentry/all-around fix-it skills! I needed a closet built for a room with no storage, and he made an incredibly useful closet with double rods that holds TONS of clothing, and looks great, too. This guy's a whiz with a skilsaw and drill. He was trained as an airplane mechanic and a carpenter, so he comes up with innovative solutions to construction/hardware problems and has great attention to detail. Plus, he shows up on time and is never grouchy when I ask questions or have ideas. He replaced two broken windows in my Victorian apartment--a large sash window (not easy!) and a smaller pane in a French door. For the door he cut glass from a larger piece he had to save me money and recycle materials. He's great at finding vintage or salvaged materials and fixtures for your projects (he found & installed a really cool mid-century light fixture for my living room), but is also not afraid of tackling whatever modern mess of IKEA furniture you've got--like the giant set of shelves & wardrobe he put together in my garage. From complex carpentry work to replacing a doorknob or a light fixture--Mike does it all, and with a great attitude and a really reasonable rate.
Description of Work: Built & finished custom closet in Victorian home, repaired window sash glass, repaired glass pane in antique French door, installed vintage light fixture, assembled IKEA storage shelves and wardrobe in garage, installed washer & dryer in utility room.
