+ -1 moreI brought the hard disk into the shop and found it very easy to explain what I needed. The proprieter was very friendly and informative without being overly technical. When I called the next day, I was told that all of the data and software had been recovered. I brought in my iMac (with a new hard disk) an he transferred all of the recovered data to it. He said I could also get the data on another medium if I wanted to. Another shop had been unable to recover anything and a professional disc recovery company quoted $1500 minimum. The Apple store had no suggestions. At $160 this was a real bargin! I will rely on Total Mac for any future Mac work.
Description of Work: Total Mac recovered ALL data and software from a crashed disk on an iMac desktop.

+ -1 moreI WAS FAIRLY HAPPY EXCEPT FOR A GLITCH WHERE THEY HAD PUT MY LAPTOP ON A SHELF AT THE SHOP AND I HAD TO CALL TO REMIND THEM TO FIX IT. I WAS ABLE TO GET MY LAPTOP BACK AND IT WORKS FINE. THEIR ATTITUDE WAS A LITTLE TOO LAID BACK FOR MY COMFORT.
