TNT Construction

Contacted Tony, at TNT Construction, in January. He quickly responded and we set up an appointment to meet and discuss the projects (bathroom remodel, replacement of all windows in the house, stucco and painting exterior, deck replacement). Had several email interactions, his stucco subcontractor came by the house. Tony was unsure if the windows could be installed using a ?replacement? method or would require a ?new ? installation method. I ordered window samples. When they arrived met with Tony and the window manufacturer rep. After the meeting Tony seems comfortable the windows would be installed using the replacement method. He asked me to give him a list of windows that were to be replaced, which I did. Then I waited for him to send me his bid proposal. After two weeks I called. He said he was in the process of setting up his spring schedule. He inquired when I would like the work completed. Told him. That was the last time we spoke. After two additional weeks of waiting I made the decision to look for a new contractor. Have just gone to contract with another contractor.. Not responding to a potential client is unprofessional. If that is his approach to interacting with a client, don't think I want to see the results of his workmanship. I do not recommend TNT Construction for any project.

Responded to calls immediately; showed up on time; bid a competitive price; did extra work; worked on a holiday. What more can you ask for?

I was in a rush to get the work done and the workers from TNT Construction Company came out to work in the Memorial Day weekend. I thought that was above and beyond of them. They were willing to move their schedule around in order to fit me in. They were quick to get back to me with an estimate. They had the experience. They were very knowledgeable about what needed to be done unlike other contractors I had spoken with. I would consider using their services again in the future.

Frankly, I could not ask for a better contractor. Tony has great honesty and capability, which I think is immediately apparent. Perhaps the fact that he also has a degree in fine arts is an indication of his sensitivity to aesthetic issues that come up. We had weekly meetings during which we sorted out different kinds of decisions, which I really enjoyed. There were a number of problems on this job which included an order from the city to have the work stopped based on my neighbor's unsafe retaining wall which was uncovered in the course of the renovation. Tony handled it all with grace and good will. One problem came up a year after the job was completed--again not Tony's fault. But he took responsibility and returned and dealt with it. I think this is very unusual! I am very happy with the renovation. TNT did a beautiful job, and I am still feel lucky that I ended up choosing them. I think you will appreciate Tony Treadway's energy and spirit.

Tony is an exceptional person to work with, an amazing balance of artisan and manager. He was able to conceptualize and actualize the ideas and plans that we developed with a mix of his own work along side the appropriate subcontractors. Because Tony is both an accomplished carpenter who does meticulous and fine woodwork mixed with being a skilled project manager everything envisioned has come to beautiful fruition.
