Description of Work: Sand and paint bathroom and hallway, including trim and 3 doors. Only problem was doors fit so tight paint chipped in places where hinge side closes against the jam. Only suggested solution is to remove and refinish doors to remove all old paint layers.

Description of Work: When I called the first time, I did not get a response and the second time I called, the guy lied and said he left me a message. Never have had a problem with getting messages so really he was covering up for his unresponsiveness. He came for an estimate which took all of five minutes and said he'll email me an estimate in about a week. Never got it! I am guessing our place wasn't worth the business or the courtesy of followup.

 + -1 moreBrian Layden, the owner of Tara Pro Painting, was very responsive and easy to deal with. Everything went exactly according to schedule, and the painting was completed four days after the scaffolding went up, despite some unexpected repairs and last-minute color changes. The painters even added some extra finishing touches. Brian came out frequently while the work was going on and at the end inspected everything and helped with the clean-up. All in all they did an excellent job at a reasonable price. I'm very happy with the results and definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: Painted the front and porch of my two-story (plus garage level) Edwardian house.

 + -1 moreThey painted our home 2 years ago and just completed painting our apt. building. Both times the level of preparation, patching, sanding, etc., exceeded my expectations. They are entirely professional. They cracked a tenant's window and replaced it without being asked. When we got our home painted, I got several bids and recommendations. Their bid was $2000 less than the next bid, plus, they are capable and licensed to do routine repairs. I didn't bother with other bids on the apt. building because I know they perform quality work at a more than fair price. I wouldn't call anyone else for painting.
Description of Work: Prepared for painting and painted four-unit apt. building, front, rear, and light wells. Also, replaced flashing with copper flashing.

 + -1 moreHe arrived on time and did a great job repairing the wall. He took great care using a plastic drape to keep sanding dust from spreading. He was very polite and removed shoes so as to keep the floor clean. He finished promptly in 2 days.
Description of Work: Repaired peeling paint and wall in living room. He repainted the wall and trim, caulked outside eaves where moisture may have come in, and painted bathroom with two coats of oil base paint.
