COULDNT HAVE GONE ANY WORSE!! This is the worst company I have ever purchased from!! Our plasma set 1 year old stopped powering on. Service was initiated through Squaretrade, parts received. Service tech showed up, lowered tv from stand by himself, offered to help, he declined. He picked up a 60 inch plasma, approx 80lbs by holding it at the top and lower corner of one end ( Samsungs manual instructs 2 or more to move as the screen can be easily damaged) removed and replaced one part, one part was not correct. He placed the set backon the cabinet screen facing the wall and informed that he would not be back, out of town or something New tech showed up the next week when new parts arrived. New parts did not fix the non power issue. tech ordered additional parts. these. Technician installs these parts and after four total visits finds this set cannot be fixed because the screen is broken. It did not have a broken screen when first tech inspected tv It was broken by tech handeling. Obviously these techs would not have performed service if the screen had been broken, it is actually the screen behind the outer glass. The outer glass shows no sign of damage. At this point Squaretrade has made a decision that the screen damage voids warranty. I asserted if the reason this was not working was because of this damaged screen the tech would have seen and noted this at the beginning. What kind of tv repair tech would come to a job that the set is not powering on and miss a broken screen. The first tech actually turned the screen towards the wall prior to leaving. (lwas he hiding the damaged screen) After a week it is found. Its is Squaretrade's responsibility to have technicians on sight that can fix issues and not due further damage. I am out a $3000 plasma tv that can no longer be fixed thanks to SQUAREtrade. NOTHING SQUARE ABOUT THESE GUYS,THEY ARE CROOKS. Finds another insurance provider. CHEAPER ISNT ALWAYS BETTER

Got email today 10/28/15 that the check was in the mail!

They are a really good company. They are a real up and coming company. They offer warranty extension for pretty much any kind of consumer electronics. Excellent, they are easy to get a hold of and easy to get coverage, very accommodating. Excellent support, really really good company.

I had two separate extended warranty contracts with this company for an 10" Electronic Tablet and an Electric Toothbrush. Both failed in the warranty period and they honored the warranty at full purchase price. They provided a return shipping label and immediately sent me a check for one and an Amazon.com coupon for the other based on my choice. Exceptional service.

I have used them a couple of times. I have never had a problem with them as far as filing a claim.

Poor service. Did not honor their warranty. Failed to return my laptop and failed to honor my warranty. We are filing a claim with the FTC, and BBB, and small claims court. They said they were goign to repair my laptop, but instead they sent us the hard drive and never sent us anything like this. Their actions with us are thuggish. We will never trust them. All their support are in India and have no support whatsoever. Nothing was said to us that was honest. We will NEVER use them and we are cancelling all our warranty we purchased with them.

Wow I had a warranty purchase issue with SquareTrade a link that I w...as sent to renew the warranty on Jeanni Elizabeth Ellis baby (her red Asus laptop) was broken. I was not able to get it renewed until I was placed in contact with Chris_C. Hed had the link recreated and I was able to extend the warranty for another year. It took actually hours on the phone to fix a very simple problem. Each person I talked to told me something different... Finally I asked for a manager and was told that the manager would tell me the same thing. But the manager fixed the problem immediately. There seem to be many 1st level people that need more training in customer service.

If there were a grade higher than "A", Square Trade would get it! We have warranties on all of our cell phones. They sent a replacement phone for my daughter along with a prepaid shipping label, so it was very easy for her to have all her data transferred to the new phone and send back the old one, even while away at college. They were able to temporarily change my address so it was sent directly to her at college a few hours away from home.The phone rep understood that it's a safety issue for her to have a phone while away at school, and offered me that option. I didn't even have to ask! They shipped the new one so quickly, she got it before I was able to open and read the shipping tracking email! My Galaxy S4 suddenly developed a serious battery issue a couple of days ago - it gets very hot and swells and the phone shuts off if I try to use the internet, even when at 80% power. Online research showed that Samsung has been aware of problems with that battery model. When I called Samsung, they wanted me to send in my battery and if their testing showed it as defective, they would send me a replacement. This could take several weeks, during which time I would not have a phone unless I purchased a new battery anyway. I then called Square Trade, and my new battery will arrive for free by the end of the week. I also had a warranty on my Oreck air cleaner. The handle on the filter snapped, making it almost impossible to remove. Square Trade sent me a free shipping label and Fed Ex picked up the box from my home while I was at work. Within a few days, I had a check refunding my purchase price. I recommend Square Trade to everyone I know and will use them on all of our electronics and cell phones from now on!

They warrantied a TV that went bad that was almost 3 years old. I received a check in the mail today for the full price minus the taxes of what I paid for it. It was well worth the warranty that I bought through them.

BTW: This form is frustrating as all my dealings were on the internet? there was no street address.. but Angie's list insisted on one so I gave them one.. Not user friendly...

I use them when I buy online or locally recently Staples started to as well. This only increased my trust since I buy everything for my business at Staples.

it went really well, but did take some time. replacement parts were sent overnight delivery but we had to find local repair person as we live in a remote, rural community. once the repair failed, replacement funds were offered and were reasonable to buy a comparable new tv.

it is going to court ... 2 year to refund if there is a problem is not ok

A little more effort could have been used to saved my programs and info..

This involved an extended service contract.

square trade is not just for E-bay, I have bought for home appliance's, electronics, etc. cost and service provided is better (so far) than what the stores sell. i.e., Apple, AT&T, Lowes,....

Price was fair and I was able to perform this over the phone.

bought a laptop for my son 2 years ago. Purchased warranty through square trade for 119.00. My sons cat knocked over heavy object onto screen and broke it and also had fluid damage to keyboard. Super easy communications, ST sent a box out with in 2 days for me to ship laptop to them for repair. All I had to do was drop off at UPS site. Sent me email the had received laptop then next day or two sent an email that it couldn't be repaired and they were mailing me a check for full purchase price of $688. Got check. turn around time was excellent. Easy.

Their card reader is a bit cheap and qwerky, but I keep a spare on hand and they are happy to send you new ones as you need them.

In January 2013 I purchased a used laptop online. The warranty that the seller offered was only 60 days, so I purchased the the warranty that the seller suggested which was, square trade. Sounded too good to be true.(Heard that one before)? 2 yrs. of warranty for my used laptop. It definitely was too good to be true! The big thing that folks don't realize is if you buy a used laptop (for example) and you purchased it for $100.00 and you need service and you call your friendly square trade,what you find out is that whatever the cost for repairs is for that first time service is deducted from the value of the item. So if your repair is say $60.00, then for the next 2 yrs. or whatever the length of the contract, they will only cover $40.00 more. A total of $100.00 meaning that they only cover repairs up to what the item is valued at. I'm sure there are folks that are reading this and saying "Hey Dude,get a life,what do you want ,a free ride. No one living on the planet,with half of a brain, would be expecting a free ride. I think that most people just don't know the right questions to ask. SHOOT ME NOW!! for just thinking that a 2 yr. warranty meant a 2 year warranty. After 2 hrs.on the phone and 2 nitros, I got a full refund (PTL)

I've purchased several warranties for various items from this company. Never had a claim until several months ago when my wine cooler started making a loud noise. I called Square Trade and told them about it asking if they could send a service man out. They informed me that instead, they would send me a check for the full purchase price of the wine cooler. I received the check the following week and purchased a new wine cooler. This company stands behind their warranties.

Had to use 2 warranties on my 19 year old's laptops which were carried to school. In one case the case separated from the screen and in the second case the laptop "died." In both cases the items were replaced promptly, without charge, including no shipping charge.

the lady who handled the claim at square trade was very pleasant and and took my claim information and had me a replacement phone overnight.great service.
