Great. The Shamrock crew stuck to their estimate even though they underestimated the weight and had to use a second truck. They were respectful and fast on both ends of the move. Some minor scrapes along the way - but nothing significant.

The Crew was punctual and did not slack off when working. In my opinion used more packing material than was necessary. The estimate was a little off but the workers were going at a good pace so no complaints. The move happened smoothly though I did have to argue about the travel time for both the packing and moving. All in all a good experience.

The service from this company was amazing. They estimated the move and were right on target. While the guy was estimating, I could feel my stress level decreasing. he had solutions for all the stuff I needed to move that wasn't exactly packable. They delivered boxes to me, and when they accidentally left them at the wrong garage door, they sent a truck back to move them to my garage door. The move took all day and the 3 men who worked were terrific. They wrapped everything very carefully. Not a single things was broken and everything got to the right spot except for one small box. They helped move the area rug several times when I was deciding where to put it. They were just great!

Did not hire this company. Their communications seemed somewhat sloppy and indifferent.

Shamrock arrived on time, packed things well using tissue for kitchen items. They were efficient and courteous. They unloaded and unpacked some cartons, all within the estimated time frame and price estimate.

We moved from Sausalito to San Ramon. They arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They were very polite and professional, and worked quickly and efficiently. The only downside is that they came in at the high end of our estimate. But considering the quality of their wok I felt like it was a good value.

It went very well. Crew was very knowledgeable and insanely hardworking. We had a few dings here and there, but they also saved us money by working hard and fast. If you have any specific expectations, express those very clearly to the crew, otherwise they will complete the move like every move. Do's: Order used boxes from the company. They deliver for free. Box prices are good, but read box invoices closely.

They worked hard and they were really professional. It was really good. The price was reasonable.

They were great and were nice people. They did a lot of work and I liked them a lot. They moved me up and set me up. They didn?t complain and were excellent movers. The price that they charged was reasonable. I felt that it also cost too much. If need be, then I would use their services in the future too.

Compared to my other moves in the past, these folks were expensive; however, I've never had a move go this smoothly and as professionally as these guys did it. No major issues and no major damage. Anytime something seemed to break like a flower pot, they would let me know right away. They did show up a little late is the only complaint I have and in the end it did not matter.

They charged by the hour but moved very quickly. They were efficient and careful with our household goods and were careful moving the inventory of our online business.

Fantastic service. The two guys arrived on time, were very fast, careful and friendly. They wrapped our furniture in blankets, and reasembled our Ikea bed in record time (according to my impressed husband!) Apparently the guy had seen may beds of this type before. We had a mis-communication with our new landlord, and the place wasn't ready. No carpets, flooring, toilet etc. The poor men had to wait patiently in the truck until the carpet guys had finished one room. They were really good about it, and we got them lunch while they were waiting. Still a bit of a nightmare, but not their fault. Ended up costing $300 more than expected - but this was because we bought the moving boxes, tape etc from the company and had to wait 2 hours for the carpet to go down! I would highly recommend this company.

I could not have asked for a better moving experience. The woman who gave me information about the company and their services over the phone, booked my reservation and followed up with the contract and reminder was highly professional and pleasant. The two men who did the moving where 10 mins early (!), careful with the furniture, wrapped things well and anticipated and addressed both my needs and my anxieties (antique dinning table and 5 ft. mirror) with friendly dispositions and professionalism. I would use them again anytime and recommend them highly!

They were very responsive. Their price was very reasonable. It was very competitive. I would give an ?A? for my overall experience with them. The person they sent out was very friendly, helpful, and professional. They responded to my request for a quote within a day. I won?t contact them again since I no longer live in San Francisco, but if I were looking for a mover and I was in San Francisco I would contact them.

Our best moving experience ever! Sure, we've moved many times and have a lot of experience by now, but Shamrock's professionalism made a huge difference in the level of stress we experienced this time around. The truth is, my husband and I were surprisingly relaxed with this move. First, Robert, the owner, came to our house to make an estimate, which turned out to be fairly accurate. No surprise expenses at the end. Everything was stated at the time of the estimate and it felt good to know how much we were going to spend. On the day of the move, the guys were on time, they were courteous, quick and efficient. I am getting in the business of home staging and I'll definitely recommend Shamrock to my future clients.

We have moved WAY too often in the last few years, but this was our first local move in the Bay Area. We liked the recommendations we found for Shamrock and decided it was worth paying a higher price for the security of a "known" quantity and fully accredited business. They were on time, professional, and nothing was damaged (if something was already damaged they were good about pointing that out). The packers did a good job and did things sensibly -- we bought the packing materials including used boxes (at a discount) from Shamrock. The delivered the packing materials at no charge. They provided wardrobe boxes at no charge. We weren't totally organized and they dealt with that just fine. The move went smoothly. They did a good job of putting beds and office furniture back together. We did our own unpacking and putting away. They were good at communicating and flexible. They knew what they were doing and were good at doing it. They gave us a written "not to exceed" estimate -- based on hourly rates. The total cost came in slightly below the estimate. If I was doing this again I would clarify in writing what (if any) travel time would be charged for (the time to get to our home to do the job by the packers and movers). I would also clarify in writing if time for lunch was to be deducted from paid time. There was confusion on moving day about both these items. Clarify in writing if it goes over 8 hours if overtime is charged. Also clarify in writing if Shamrock is going to pick up packing materials after you have unpacked and if so at what charge. (We did not have them pick up used packing materials as we gave them away instead). Write down the arrival and finish times for the packers and movers and make sure the hours agree with what you are charged. I told the estimator I was an Angies List referral and was given a 5% discount off the labor rate. It doesn't hurt to ask! Also be sure and ask if they will take a personal check -- they agreed to take ours. Shamrock has several local offices, at times it was confusing to know which one was handling our move. After the move we discovered some linens that were left behind (which we were able to pick up) and a plant (which was too big to move on our own). But there are always hitches in a move -- they are complex, stressful and confusing. I would not have wanted to do it without Shamrock's help!! Overall it was a good experience and we would use them again.

Overall, it could not have gone better. Shamrock literally removed the trauma of moving and made it as easy as possible. I would recommend them completely without qualification to anyone considering a move.

They were very professional and courteous. They were on time, and were able to deal with the four story walk up, and were able to carry all of the heavy things down the stairs. It was a tough job and they did a good job.

They arrived ten minutes early and set to work immediately. I was worried that the truck they brought wouldn't fit all our belongings, but they packed it incredibly tightly. They worked continuously for four hours. At one point I offered them pastries and they said they would take one while they were driving the truck but didn't want to break until it was finished! My husband and I had set aside a car load of especially fragile items to transport ourselves and it took us as long to load that into our car as it took Juan and Esguel to move our entire living room. When we arrived in Berkeley, they set to work again, sorting items by room as marked or as we requested. Nothing was broken and nothing was scratched or damaged at all. Their rate was $110/hour for two men and the truck, plus double driving time. They charged $25 for shrink wrap and $70 for fuel. They take only cash, cashiers check, or money order, but unlike some of the other reviewers, they had told us this when we scheduled the move and again when they called to confirm the day before.

Very well. Jorge and Alfredo arrived 15 minutes passed the hour - worked steadily and efficiently the entire time. Was very appreciative of GoogleMap driving instructions from old home to new location. Safety precautions were taken throughout the morning (lifting, walking down/up stairs, driving, parking). No damage to items or walls - even in tight spaces.

The quality of service Shamrock provided was superb. The crew were friendly, courteous, careful with my belongings, and worked quickly. The guys showed up 10 minutes early, and all three of them acted like professional movers (as compared to hired laborers). Moving only some of the contents of an apartment can be confusing, and I've had movers complain about it in the past. These guys took it well in stride. They even reminded me to take some coats from the hall closet, which I would otherwise have forgotten. My only complaint with this was the price. $165/hr is on the high end for a 3-man crew, and I think that if I had booked further ahead, I could have gotten comparable movers for cheaper. There are certainly companies with similar reputations who quoted me less, but they weren't available on short notice. That said, Shamrock's rates were in line with a lot of their competitors, and those competitors would be hard-pressed to beat Shamrock's quality.

We had a very good experience with Shamrock. They were on time, polite, careful, helpful and actually fun to work with. One of the four crew members was new and not up to the standards his coworkers established. I've unpacked my kitchen and am happy to report that not a single item broke. After they had gotten all my stuff in the house, the foreman asked if everything was where I wanted it or if I wanted them to move anything around within the house. I really appreciated that. The charges were almost exactly what I had been told.

They did a good job, very friendly and communicative. They were available at last minutes notice. They were dressed in uniform and arrived on time with dollies. Be warned about the extra $35 travel time and additional separate fuel charge (only for this reason will I not hire them again). But if money is not an issue, then they are great with customer service and last minute requests.
