San Francisco Investment Development

Work was not complete after 3 months and I had to hire another contractor to repair mistakes left by San Francisco Invetment Development and to finish incomplete work. Mr. Lackey from SFID also placed a mechanic's lien on my home for which I had to hire an attorney to have removed. SFID was expensive to begin with, $38,500 original estimate, and that jumped to $48,500 when we wanted nicer materials than the cheap ones in our initial budget. I paid $7,000 to fix SFID's mistakes and another $9,000 on an attorney to get the lien removed and for a failed effort at getting Mr. Lackey to mediation. All in, I paid $66,000 for a bathroom and 15 months of headache. This was the worst financial experience of my life and I can't even think of a close second.
