We had the extieror of our house pained andRobert was a pleasure to work with. We started the project knowing that there was rain in the forcast. He worked around the weather and kept me informed. He was on time when we had to meet. His crew was professional and they did a great clean up job when they were fininshed. The house looks great and I could not be more pleased.

We had a great experience working with Robert and his team. We had our 2 unit condo in SF painted and a deck stained. The project started and ended on schedule, the team was easy to coordinate with, and Robert was transparent with all the costs along the way. Robert and team paid a lot of attention to detail, and the work looks great!

Robert Jasso Painting was excellent! I have been dreading painting the exterior of my house for years. Apart from just the painting, there was damage that needed to be repaired due to the ravages of time and curious, badly planned "improvements" done by previous owners. Robert, Octavio and I went over my house with a fine-toothed comb and figured out what had to be done. If there were some construction-type issues that were beyond the scope of his painting crew, Robert recommended some fantastic contractors that were able to fix the problems. He has been in the business for years and has seen everything which is an important virtue when looking for painters in the SF Bay Area. Robert, his right-hand man, Octavio and the rest of the crew worked quickly, quietly and efficiently. Everything from the scaffolding to the final touches were great. I am getting a lot of positive feed back from my neighbors about how my house looks. I cannot recommend Robert Jasso Painting enough. Thank you.

Robert and his crew did a great job of restoring our Edwardian era house to it's former glory. With years of neglect, multiple paint layers had to be removed along with repairs to areas of dry rot, rust, missing siding, and more. Robert worked on the job himself and is involved every step of the way. He partners with you, communicates well, and has connections to external resources as necessary for bigger repairs. Robert and crew have years of experience and it shows in the depth of their prep work and use of quality products. Robert and crew work hard, keep a meticulously clean job site, and do things right. Robert is amazing. I decided to paint my house last year, and got three estimates. Robert's estimate emphasized the amount of preparation work that he'd do to make the paint last, which was particularly attractive to me because my over-100 year old house still has original redwood siding! I gave Robert some general guidance on colors (I like blue!) and he proposed a color scheme that many of my neighbors have complimented, most amusingly, two young boys who decided Robert's color scheme was "awesome." As part of the prep process, Robert found some dry rot, and he repaired much of it. The parts that couldn't be repaired, he recommended an excellent contractor who did a fabulous job re-skinning a corner of the house to look as good as new. Robert won't be the cheapest bid, but you'll love the way your house looks when he's done.

Robert was very professional and did a great job of restoring an old home with a fresh look. Robert was helpful with color selection. They did a great job cleaning up and also recommended a good contractor to do the rot repair. Robert is not cheap but he gave a detailed estimate and was easy to deal with. He was a good communicator and there was only one area that he had to charge more for that I thought was covered in the bid. The house looks good.

Robert and his team did an excellent job painting the exterior of our home, and are reasonably priced as well. We needed scaffolding for the project and Robert coordinated all of that for us from start to finish. Robert took great care to make sure to repair portions of the exterior that had been damaged by rain, and to make sure that we will be safe from future rain damage. He also helped us to select our colors, and was very patient through the whole process as we changed our minds on colors or asked for extra samples. Robert is very hands on, was at the site every day working, and communicated with us regularly about the progress and timing of the project. Even with some days of bad weather during the process, Robert still finished ahead of schedule. I am so pleased with his work, and highly recommend Robert Jasso Painting to others.

Robert and his crew were fantastic. The project was fully collaborative between Robert and myself. I have a historic San Francisco home and he understood my love for this house. Robert was also critical in connecting with a carpenter to repair dry rot and a railing expert to repair a broken railing. I can't say enough good things about Robert Jasso.

I found Robert on Angie's List and after talking to numerous painters and getting several quotes I chose him and his team to paint our property - a typical 1920s San Francsico two story and a early 1900s cottage. Robert and his team are both very professional and very personable, which they continued to demonstrate through the job by managing my neighbors and keeping everyone happy! Robert set clear expectations in terms of what to expect, and I never felt like we were being nickled and dimed- a concern when engaging any contractor you don't know. He also has lots of local expertise, which makes me confident our house is protected from the elements for years to come, and he also helped steer us towards a great color scheme for our buildings. Finally, the quality of his work is exceptional. We could tell a lot of prep was done (some of our property needed lots of attention), the work was through and details done with skill and care. We couldn't be happier with how it looks!

Robert and his team are very responsive and professional. We have a large corner property which faces south so the paint takes a beating from the sun and wind. There was peeling which wasn't properly addressed the last time we had the house painted. Robert and his team spent a lot of time and energy to prep the house thoroughly and I feel confident this paint job will last longer than the last one. The house looks amazing and we've received lots of compliments from the neighbors. Robert also has very competitive pricing and you really get your money's worth. A+

Robert and his team were very communicative and professional during the entire project. We talked through expectations and the project plan before starting and then Robert was very helpful in keeping us up to date on how the work was proceeding. When unexpected issues we’re identified, Robert proposes reasonable approaches to remedy the issues with the siding or steps. He was very flexible and accommodating. In the end, the exterior paint looks fantastic and a closer look shows how Robert and his team paid attention to all the details and were very thorough. Even the difficult spots were sealed and painted very nicely.

Robert and Octavio did a great job of painting the exterior of our 3-story duplex which has a redwood staircase and landings on the backside that were freshly stained. As Robert said, he took our house from drab to fab! Robert is very pleasant, a good listener, and knows a lot about paints and materials. He and Octavio have steady hands for painting trims and window sashes with straight lines where they should be. Our project required some small repairs of wood rot in places, and Robert did an expert job of filling and repairing them. I also had a moment of painter’s remorse on my initial color choice for my roof canopy trim, but Robert made it easy to repaint in a better color for a reasonable additional fee. All-in-all, I’m very happy I chose Robert Jasso and will hire him again.

It was great to work with Robert to paint the exterior of our house in the Richmond district of SF. The previous owner neglected it for ~15 years but Robert and team got it looking great. He was very easy to communicate with, phone, email and text. We had to access our neighbors' yards to paint the sides of our house and Robert dealt with both neighbors in a very professional manner. One asked for a quote for their house afterwards so that tells you everything.

Robert was a professional from the start. He was very easy to work with and very communicative throughout. He kept things very tidy while the project was being done, and took time to ensure that all areas were cleaned up afterwards. Robert did a great job of explaining what needed to be done, and provided a very reasonable estimate that included a lengthy description of the steps needed to do a proper prep job. He was very detail-oriented and it was clear that he strives to do a thorough, high-quality paint job intended to last for years. We will definitely hire him again for future painting needs.

Robert and his crew were very easy to work with - honest, caring and responsive. The results were lovely. They spent a lot of time on prep, and were very helpful in identifying issues that we did not anticipate (dry rot etc). Robert was very helpful in problem solving solutions that gave us different options (in both time and cost). His bid was not an all-inclusive bids like some others, but he added items in (ex: parking permit, porta-potty, scaffolding) based on our conversation about my requirements/expectations. He also included an extra bid for the clean-up/staining of our decking. Robert's crew were punctual and respectful of our personal space, and clear in their requirements (opening of windows, doors etc.) I would recommend and use them again.

Robert and his team were really professional. They did a great job with prepping the house, including power washing, repairing some damage, filling in holes here and there, etc. When it came time to paint we really appreciated the care and expertise. He takes the time to be sure that weather conditions are right vs just rushing through to get the job done and move on. Confirmed with us as to various trouble spots as he went through the process. Our house is a challenge to work on due to 2 stories in a cramped space and we appreciated that Robert and his team used care and caution to minimize their own risk. Having someone with experience in challenging outdoor painting situations was important to us. Robert was very helpful in recommending appropriate colors relative to our existing colors and what would hold up best over time. The end result is our house looks great. We will definitely be reaching out to have him help with interior painting when the time comes.

*From the very start when he came personally to give us an estimate through to the end of the job, we found him to be helpful, accommodating, reliable, reasonable, easy to deal with. He was always immediately available and responsive to any and all questions we might have, listened very well and very carefully and was never evasive, defensive, or impatient with any of our concerns or differing opinions. And while he would draw from his considerable knowledge and experience to advise and steer us in the right direction, counseling us in a way that made us feel he was personally involved, ultimately the final decisions were ours. If it meant a slight revision of the estimate, Robert was always very clear and up front about any changes, and extremely fair as well. * *Much, if not most, of the work he did himself, and otherwise personally supervised all of the work done by his employees -- one of whom has been with the company for over 12 years (always a good sign) and was also extremely competent and experienced. They used nothing but the highest quality materials, and both went many "extra miles? in the prep, making sure that any underlying bubbles, defects etc. were dealt with completely before moving on to the actual priming and painting. They took extreme care to clean up on a daily basis, and took care of any drips or missed spots, however few and far between they may have been. * *To sum it up, our experience with Robert Jasso Painting was 100% satisfactory, and we could not be happier with the job they did. When my husband and I first met with Robert, he came on a bit strong, but he turned out to be just fine. Robert and his small crew were very professional. We're very knowledgeable about painting, and we've done a lot of painting ourselves. We're pretty obsessive about detail and quality, and Robert's painting is *almost* as good as we would have done (OK, we're being picky here). Prep work was good, and they use high quality Sherwin Williams paint (Robert has very strong opinions about paint) They showed up on time each day (a rarity with contractors!) and kept us informed on their plans for upcoming work. They cleaned up carefully each day, and were good about confining their tools and supplies to a rather cramped working area. The work took a little longer than expected due to weather delays. We highly recommend Robert Jasso Painting!

Robert and his team did a wonderful job. They spent a lot of time on prep--always a good sign in a paint job--and the house looks terrific. They were always on time and unfailingly pleasant; they cleaned the site thoroughly every day; they kept us fully apprised of their progress and any problems. And--this was especially important to us--they were extremely courteous and thoughtful when dealing with our neighbors, whose property they had to be on in order to paint our place. Robert gave good advice about color choices, especially for the western/southern exposure, which gets a lot of sun, wind, and rain. We couldn't be happier with the experience and the outcome.
