Pestec

It was a great experience. They were very helpful. It took care of my pest problem and I would use them again. The technician was very knowledgable.

Technician seemed nice. Service was WAY overpriced. $175 JUST FOR ESTIMATE. I received two other estimates that were FREE. Then, the rate they quoted for the job was the highest by far. It seemed a simple job that I eventually paid another company 1/3 of their quoted price to complete, so I am unhappy about paying $175 just for estimate. In fairness, they were very transparent in their pricing, I just think it is expensive so I would not use them again.

We had flies in my mother's garbage room for over 2 wks and unable to locate where they were breeding. Once we locate that it was coming from a drain, Pestec told us how to treat it without having to come out. We were forever thankful to them. Melody, the receptionist was very professional on the phone to answer all questions.

This was my first time using Pestec and I am pleased with the results. They did what they said they would do.

Pestec was excellent. I called them up, they had a pest control technician out the next day and after 1-1/2 hours, there were no more yellow jackets in my backyard. Thankfully, no one got stung. Pestec did a great job!!

You're mandatory answers need refining.If they don't deal with pigeons,that doesn't necessarily mean I won't call them for other pest problems.

Pestec has been a GEM. The property owners (I am the Household Manager) have been having bad problems with moles on the property, and it was disrupting the landscaping and the health of some of the plants and fruit trees. We had a pest company that was coming regularly for this, but then they just stopped coming and disappeared (and the mole problem was getting worse, not better...) I found Pestec on Yelp, and a field representative, Herminio Lopez, came to the house to interview. The interview and walk-through went very well. He explained that there were no gophers (as we thought) but there was an infestation of moles and voles (voles are almost like field mice). He showed me one area where the vole holes were large and easily visible at the base of a plant, and I wondered why none of the other companies that were interviewed saw this... Mr. Lopez was so amazing that he even smelled a dead vole that was some 10 to 20 feet away from where we were standing. He is certainly a rodent specialist! Mr. Luis Agurto, owner, sent us a professional and agreeable bid after my successful meeting with Mr. Lopez. Since they have started, they have trapped 13 voles and 9 moles (since 8/6/09). They also only trap without poison and chemicals. Also, a couple of weeks ago Mr. Lopez found and trapped a black widow - he knew which spider by looking at the web; the spider was not there when he saw the web! Overall, we are very pleased with Pestec and look forward to working with them for years to come for all of our pest-related needs. The cost listed above was for the initial 2x a week for one month treatment. Now we are on a monthly visit schedule and it is still going wonderfully. The plants are much healthier, and the mole and vole activity has significantly decreased.
