Our large showroom has lots to choose from and our knowledgeable staff can help you when replacing, upgrading, or creating your fireplace. Okell’s Fireplace was founded in 1947 by James Okell. Jim was a design leader in our industry and was very influential in fireplace accessory design. He produced the highest quality accessories with hand finished and handcrafted beauty. Workmanship and quality were essential to the items he produced and he displayed them with pride. Believing workmanship, high quality materials, and knowledge are essential ingredients to every item we sell, Okell’s Fireplace in San Francisco has been helping to keep California homes warm for over 65 years!

Okell's Fireplace is a complete fireplace shop including sales, installation, chimney cleaning, and repairs. We carry many different brands and manufacturers of fireplaces, fireplace inserts, stoves, outdoor fireplaces, gas logs, fireplace accessories, and mantels. We have our own staff of estimators, technicians, and installers to work on your project and answer your questions. We give free estimates and we can be scheduled to come to your house at your convenience.
