Our knowledgeable team of qualified electricians come to your home and diagnose any problem you may be having. Our trucks are fully stocked to ensure that we have the right tools and materials to provide you with the best service for your home. M E C trains our electrical technicians to keep a clean working environment leaving your home undisturbed and operating safely and properly. Our estimate consultation fee is $120. This is a non-refundable flat fee. Our residential rates are charged as listed below, plus any materials used. Monday- Friday, 8AM-5PM (1-hour minimum) = $180/ hour/ technician. We charge a one-hour minimum and then by 30-minute increments . Weekends, After Hours, Emergency (1-hour minimum) = $360/ hour/ technician. We charge a one-hour minimum and then by 30-minute increments. Our commercial rates are charged as listed below, plus any materials used. Monday- Friday, 8AM-5PM (1-hour minimum) = $234/ hour. We charge a one-hour minimum and then by 30-minute increments. Weekends and After Hours (1-hour minimum) = $468/ hour/ technician. As a new homeowner, I had an infinite list of repairs needed at my new home in Daly City. For starters, I wanted all light switches in bathrooms and common area rooms to have motion sensor switches, decora outlets throughout house, outdoor security lighting and power for a soon-to-be installed motorized garage door. Since I have a lot of kitchen appliances, I also asked the electrician to inspect the existing kitchen circuits and he recommended bringing more power to my kitchen circuits to avoid future overloads. I really appreciated how knowledgeable Raul the Electrician was. The electrician was on time left and cleaned up his workspace thoroughly. The office staff were very transparent with pricing and they were able to fit me in pretty quickly into their schedule. Thanks for the great work Raul and MEC!

My parents hired a “certified electrician” to replace the main panel in their home. A building inspector paid us a surprise visit (I’m pretty sure our nosy neighbors ratted us out) and my parents got slammed with a notice of violation. We had 30 days to get the violations corrected. We appreciated how quickly M E C was able to get an Electrician out to us. Carlos, the owner of the business, was the Electrician that came to our house. My parents were thrilled that he was fluent in Spanish and was able to explain every detail of the correction game plan. Once we agreed to get the work done, he went that same day to pull an electrical permit and personally delivered us a copy for our records. Carlos was honest and efficient from the very beginning. We were so pleased with the scheduling staff, as they helped accommodate our tight schedule of availability.

MEC saved me from a dinner party tragedy! I had a lot of family gathering/staying at my house for a family event in the evening and our breakers kept tripping, leaving us with no power. I bit the bullet and requested an emergency appointment. An MEC electrician was at my house within an hour. Since my (rental) home is pre-1960, the main service and wiring needed some major upgrades. Our Electrician, Raul, was very thoughtful of the situation I was in, and made some adjustments, including a temporary fix, to at least get me through my family event. I needed to hand this recommendation/rough estimate off to my landlord for approval, so I wasn’t going to have an immediate answer for their estimate. My landlord decided to move forward with MEC because other vendors were pricing us at a much higher cost for the same work! I’m so thankful for their fast response and help.
