Description of Work: I visited the showroom in Palo Alto twice and tried out various mattresses, picked the one I liked best and ordered it in double size. Sales staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The mattress and springs arrived exactly on time. The only problem (minor) was that the sales person recorded my choice of fabric incorrectly so the set was in beige instead of blue. I decided that the color didn't really make a difference since both mattress and box springs are always covered with a fitted sheet or bedskirt, and the fabric was nice in either color. I am very happy with my purchase. I do wish, as a senior citizen, that Mcroskey would offer a service whereby someone would come by my house and flip my mattress when it was recommended. That would really make me happy.

Description of Work: I selected and ordered a new double size mattress and box springs from the Mcroskey Palo Alto mattress store. The company built and delivered the mattress and springs to my house, put them in place and removed the old ones. Both the shopping and ordering were quite easy and the store personnel were very helpful. The delivery was smooth and on time. The only glitch was that I had selected a blue and white patterned covering and my set arrived in beige. (The sales person had made an error on my order.) But I decided that the mattress and springs were covered basically all the times and so color was not really an issue. | |I have been very happy with my purchase.

 + -1 moreMcRoskey is great. They make their own mattresses and sell them without any middleman. The mattress was very expensive but they are definitely worth it. They make the most comfortable beds that I have ever been on. The owners know the business inside and out. They are comfortable, nice people who I have not heard curse in my company. Going over there is a fun experience because they just let you try out all of the beds they have there.

 + -1 moreMcRoskey is an old-time local company. It was even featured on "Martha Stewart." I purchased my mattress after a friend had back surgery and recommended it highly. Now, several of our friends have McRoskey's mattresses, and are recommending them as well. I'm sure that this mattress will last me a lifetime and my children are probably arguing about which one of them will inherit it. A great night's sleep is priceless.
