The cleaner sent by Marvel Maids was diligent and fairly thorough, although did not speak English and so communication, such as asking that a specific area of the house be given more attention, was difficult. However, there's been a change in ownership and the new owners had the 'bright' idea of putting cleaners in teams (rather than individually), providing cars for them and providing vacuum cleaners and industrial cleaning supplies. For the benefit of this new and improved service, they wanted to increase prices from over $30 per hour to nearly $50 PER HOUR!! This is the Bay Area, but PLEASE - that would make a four hour cleaning of our house twice a month FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS PER MONTH, or nearly $5,000 per year. As I said to them: so you want to increase your fees but I get the same end result (i.e. a clean kitchen, bathroom and living room) Why would I pay 50% more for the same service? I've cancelled the service and am now looking for a good, reliable local cleaner.

THEY DO A GOOD JOB BUT THEY ARE ONLY OKAY FOR THOROUGHNESS. I DO HOWEVER TRUST THEM IN MY HOME WHICH I THINK IS A PLUS. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PLEASANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY.
