While I did not end up completing the work with the company, the gentleman that came over was very friendly and easy to work with, he was very up front and transparent with me about what he would need to honor the coupon, I guess my project was just not large enough to justify his services.

Drains now clear. Went fine.

Adam arrived right when scheduled and was charming and efficient throughout his stay. He explained everything (I am curious and want to understand as much as I can), and didn't try to "make work" where it wasn't necessary. He even knocked a little off the original cost estimate, because the job took much less time than anticipated. Altogether, although expensive (I think this is true of all plumbing work), this was a very satisfying experience.

I purchased the big deal from Angie's list for this service. I knew it was a good price because I have this work performed on my sewer on an annual basis. Magic Plumbing was very responsive to my request and in helping me correct an administrative problem I had created in purchasing the service (I had accidentally purchased 3 of the deals when I only wanted one.) They scheduled the work promptly, arrived on time, did quality work, and cleaned up afterwards. Also, while they were available to answer additional questions, they did not try to sell me anything else while they were at my house, which I greatly appreciated. I will call them again next year when I have to clear this line again.

They completed the job. They were higher in price than what I expected. However, they were smarter than another plumber I had used earlie. They knew how to do things that my less expensive did not know

I felt like the person who came out was not qualified. It was a simple job with maybe $20 in parts and an hour and a half of labor. He took pictures and said he needed to go back and consult with his boss. I bought the deal as a time saver but it just ended up not being worth it.

They were not able to pull back whatever was clogging the drain and as a result I was worried that it would clog again in the near future as we have had problems with this drain clogging and other plumbers have pulled back the obstruction. Their plumber refused to guarantee that it would stay unplugged for more than a few days. Basically he told me he had cleared it and they can't guarantee drains for more than a few days as they don't know what people will try to put down their drain. If he had actually pulled something back I would have been ok with this but because he didn't I was unhappy that he wouldn't guarantee it. I understand their position but from my perspective the guarantee should still have been longer than just a few days. As a result, I will not use these guys in the future.

He came out and looked at the repair we needed, but had nothing on his truck to do the work. It was nice of him to not charge me for coming out, but unfortunately that he didn't have the tools needed to complete the job.

The company did a fantastic job and had the best customer service I encountered in a very long time.

Called to schedule appointment and told them the issue with the leaking toilet. They encouraged me to upgrade my coupon to 200 $ of services to fix the problem. I did this , refunding my initial coupon. When the technician came over, he told me he couldn't fix it , but if he did it might cost 750$, but he didn't think he wanted to. Therefore he left without fixing anything. Acted like I was wasting his time and that I was responsible for "improper" installation of the current toilet. It actually installed almost 10 years prior and worked well all that time. Did not feel good about my encounter with Magic Plumbing.

Trying to do the old fashion way of unclogging a drain didn't work. Desperate to get the kitchen functioning again, I scheduled an appointment with Magic Plumbing, although they were busy, they did fit me in. They were responsive to my needs and like magic, the drain was cleared. Great service.

He arrived promptly and was in the bathroom about 20 minutes, cleared the drain and left. It was professional work done in an efficient manner. I would go back to Magic Plumbing, if we needed work done.

I had standing water in both my bathtub and shower from a clogged drain when I contacted Pablo at Magic Plumbing at 10a. He answered my call on the first ring and scheduled a same-day appointment. The first plumber (Awesome Adam) arrived about 1p but was not able to unclog the drain. Pablo called me and apologized for the delay in fixing the drain. He scheduled a second plumber (Fantastic Frank) who arrived around 5p. He unclogged the drain (biggest hair ball ever) and also fixed my shower head (removed the built up rust) for better water pressure. Both plumbers were really professional and knowledgeable. I am very happy with the service and will use these guys anytime I have a plumbing issue. They are highly recommended!!

Scheduling This part was amazing! I had to change the appointment a few times and I couldn't be more pleased with how that went with Pablo (he does the scheduling). The work Everything went well. Two men came to do the job and they were punctual, professional, and very nice. They worked well together and with me and I am pleased with the results. The cost Plumbers are expensive. They work hard and get paid for their labor. [I'd like to see more of this for less skilled workers.] The cost was reasonable and Pablo explained it to me in detail on the phone. Thanks again Pablo. PS: I wish I knew about Magic the last time I hired a plumber (July 2014) when a man came in for a kitchen sink clog, was here for 15 minutes, and charged me a bundle for unacceptable work.

It went really well. Estimate was accurate and Sean was on time and worked hard. Final bill had an error and my refund check was sent promptly. Great experience!

Unfortunately, their estimate was cookie-cutter and sky-high: for each of the three issues, their solution was to replace a part at some expsnse: $350 for the kitchen hot water problem to replace a an angle valve and the faucet itself, $250 to replace the leaking drain basket, and $350 to replace the bathroom faucet. I decided to get another estimate or two and didn't end up coming back to Magic Plumbing. What makes me so confident that they were estimating for more work and material than needed? Another plumber fixed the kitchen hot water issue simply by replacing the angle valve, and the other two problems were handled in minutes without any parts being per placed whatsoever. Unfortunately, I think Msgic Plumbing looked at a single, middle-aged woman and thought they saw a good mark.

Everything went fine and I had no problems.

It finally went well. They came out the same day we called. They put a whole house filter in and then there was less pressure in the house. They found that there was something wrong with the exterior value from the water department that the water department had to fix. Magic Plumbing was very polite and sincere. The cost was $700 for putting the whole house water filter in.

I was given a window of 9-11. At about 10:30, they called to let me know they were running late. At about 11:30, the plumber shows up. He diagnoses the problem with the toilet and lets me know that a part needs to be replaced. He doesn't have it, because our parts our universal. He heads off to the local plumbing supply store (actually one block away). While he is away, I think about his explanation as to what was broken, apply a bit of Krazy Glue, and, voila, that problem is solved (the filler still needs to be replaced). At 4:00 (note, we are talking about 4 hours after he left, and email shows up in my mailbox, telling me that the $250 part is in available and I can call to arrange a time for installation. And, oh, by the way, the filler is $120. Late. Plumber just left and never came back. Quote emailed to me for $250 for a problem I had fixed with a few drops of Krazy Glue. I will get my filler fixed, but not by Magic Plumbing.

Everything went well. The first person that came out said they would not be able to do the work without taking out the toilet. The supervisor came out to look at it and was able to to do it without taking the toilet out. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. It ended up taking about two and a half hours total.

I was not able to use the deal I had purchased. I had them unclog a drain on a Sunday. They completed the job in 15 minutes. There was a higher fee for them coming out on Sunday. I have used the company before in the past. The technician did a good job and is nice. I had no issues getting in touch with the company and they are very easy to schedule out.

Since the email confirmation was sent the day prior, I hadn't seen it and was about to get in the shower when they arrived. Adam was kind enough to wait 5 minutes for me to take a quick shower before they flushed the water heater and did the inspection. They gave me some good tips for how to maintain my drains and gave me an estimate for replacing the garbage disposal, which is ancient.

These guys are great. They arrived as scheduled, did what was expected as well as answering a number of questions I had about the water heater and plumbing generally. I got a detailed explanation of the report, and advice about follow-up. Prompt and friendly, and all at a really great price. I would use MP again for sure.
