Description of Work: I purchased a deal of the day with Magic Plumbing, which was a hot water heater flush and plumbing inspection for $150. They were able to come when it was convenient for me, the following morning even though it was last minute. The technician who came was prompt, polite and efficient. It turns out we have 2 hot water heaters so I had to pay an extra $90 for the second one, but he was also able to pinpoint the source of some running water (2 toilets). He suggested some solution options, and we ended up hiring them to replace one toilet entirely and the filler valve on another. We set up an appointment with them the following week and they came and completed the work within 2 hours. Overall a very good experience - not the cheapest but smooth, efficient and fair.

Description of Work: Snaked laundry room hoses and standpipes. The plumber was very open about not knowing if this would solve the recent wet floor problem, and I appreciated that. He was also a good listener.

Description of Work: I have used Magic Plumbing services 3 times over the past year for plugs in the main line and to fix a dripping showerhead. The service response and status notifications have been excellent. The plumbers sent onsite have been knowlegeable, professional, and personable.

Description of Work: They repaired a clogged drain pipe under kitchen sink and cleared a clogged drain in my garage. The were quick, efficient, and did the work for a reasonable price.

Description of Work: To prepare for rebuilding of sewer lateral: |-hydro jet root removal of basement bathroom. |-removal of broken toilet and cleanup of bathroom and garage floor; which was a horrible job for them to do! |-camera video service of sewer. |-installation of new toilet upstairs. |-complete replacement of garage sink plumbing for washer out-go piping. |Finally; |-installation of new sewer piping, 2 easy-access holes for future inspection by plumbers or city + took care of all contact w/city for approval sign-offs. |•••How did it go? |Fantastic! Description of Work: Responsive to request for service. Service person called when coming. Cleared clogged upstairs sink. Had to climb through window to lightwell to access. (I told him that's what had done in past) Did have to remind of Angie's price.

Description of Work: The plumber came to fix a leak in the toilet and did the job. It took 1/2 hour. Later the same day the leak came back and I called them and we set up a follow up visit but then the leak stopped again and hasn't come back. So we are on hold. They stated they will make good on the repair and I certainly trust them. They are very friendly and professional. My only qualm was that they had a fixed price for the job and we paid around $200 [with the Angie's list credit that I purchased] for 1/2 hour of work. That's $400/hr.! I would rather have plumbers charge per hour. However, in this case it may turn out to be worth it if we need them to come back and we will be covered.

Description of Work: He came, he emptied the water heater and walked thru the house looking at what I asked about. I expected an inspection, he expected me to ask for estimates for specific jobs! He was very polite and listened closely to any questions I asked. Unfortunately, I wanted an overall appraisal of my plumbing! | |I would call them if I have a specific plumbing job, not sure about repair.

Description of Work: I used one of the Angie's list specials to try Magic Plumbing. I do not recall the exact date. They cleaned out a drain in a bathroom. It was rather routine and I have no problems with the work.

Description of Work: They were great from beginning to end. Kept me informed as to what was being done and were responsive at all times. I saw them in my neighborhood not long ago - just a few houses from me. The job looked much bigger/complicated than mine but I hope they did as a great a job for the neighbor as they did for me!

Description of Work: Drained my water heaters. I purchased a $49 coupon and paid an additional $40 for my other water heater. The repairman indicated there was a issue on the value for one heater and I should see if my warranty was still go and get it replaced. He conducted what I would say was a cursory review of the plumbing in the kitchen and other bathroom. He looked to see if there was a leak. No leak ok. Overall I was satisfied with the service.
