No problem using coupon of $119 for $200 worth of work. Quick and fair.

Initially, a clogged sewer line needed to be hydro-jetted, then we needed a video analysis - we then found a solid clog which needed to be physically removed since it did not flush out, even with the 3500psi hydro-jet, Subsequently, after the blockage was located, it was excavated and removed with some section of the sewer line replaced. Through the whole process, Frank, the supervisor, patiently explained what was being found, and offered solutions which we could decide between including stopgap measure. He even offered tips as to self-maintenance which we will try to follow. Devin and Jeff, the crew worked efficiently and fastidiously throughout the operation. When it was satisfactorily completed, we even shared in their efficiency by paying less than the original estimate - does that ever happen? Well. it did with Magic Plumbing - a sure sign they can be relied upon. They were also timely, adhering to their commitments as to when they would start. I can't say enough, but would definitely use them again, although hopefully we won't need then soon.

Overall it went well, but they could not do the work on the day promised. On the promised day they provided an estimate but then the day was ending and they had to return on another day when the work was satisfactorily completed.

Jeremy was prompt and most friendly. He explained thoroughly the steps that would be taken to free the drain and how much each step would cost. As it turned out, we only had to have the minimum amount of work done and the drain ran freely. We found out that Magic Plumbing will be able to help with our future kitchen remodel!! We are so pleased and would definitely call Magic Plumbing in the future.

They came, they did the service, and they left. No problems. They were professional and showed up on time. They alerted me of some other potential problems as well.

After looking for a plumber on Angie's List, I decided to go with Magic Plumbing and use one of their coupons. I called in the morning and the person answering the phone said that while they did not have a plumber available at the moment, they would send someone out in the afternoon. Luckily for me, the plumber came much earlier than expected--about late morning. After examining the problem, he recommended replacing some parts in the tank and the toilet then worked fine. I was so happy that they were able to come earlier than the afternoon. They were very responsive to my needs, and I will definitely use them again!

When I had a plumbing emergency, they were great! from the dispatcher who kept me on the line while calling various of their guys to see who was available, to the boss who gave me his cell phone number during a job that was complicated.

Magic plumbing did a great job. Sunday and emergancy prices were in effect. No surprises and no more problem

They always give me a written estimate of the cost before beginning the job. The minimum service fee seems to be $175 regardless how small the job is, but important to note that they have always been able to come on the same day that I called, usually within just a couple of hours. This is well worth it to me and I would use them again and I would recommend them to others.

They were just wonderful. First of all they gave me a $300.00 discount because I was over 55. I thought that was so great and still their initial rate was within a $100.00 of the other plumbing company. They were terrific. We own another house and the sewer work was for that house. The tenant in that house was just thrilled. She is a mom with 2 toddlers and they really worked around her well and got in and out really fast. Basically, the whole city of San Francisco has this problem. Everybody is 15 feet from the driveways of their houses out to the middle of the streets and these corroded pipes. These guys must do 100s of these where they have to literally replace the entire city pipe to the city hook-up. They have to saw through concrete on the sidewalk to get to it. It is a huge job. They run cameras in it and everything else destroying a tree in the way because the city requires them to. They did all that stuff and they did it all for a really great price and they were done in 2 days. It was wonderful. They were absolutely on the money. They were right there every time they said they would be and she could manage all her daycare and her job and everything else around them just perfectly. It is really rare that somebody thanks you for sending over the repair man and she did.

They were quick to respond. The crew was professional and experienced and I was greatly relieved about that. The quality of work was good.

It was done with a contract and it came in at the price they said. They did the work as fast as they could. They knew their way around all the issues and really worked with us.

They came to do an estimate but never submitted a bid, despite their promises to have a quick turnaround time.

It took three visits, and many calls to the hot water heater company to figure it out and correct the problem. We finally did, and Magic did not charge us to fix the problem three years later.

Started within days of approving their estimate (based on their prior doing a camera inspection after having cleared a clogged sewer main). Work was done professionally and quickly and work area was maintained in a "clean" state thru-out the process.

I decided not to go with them, opting to wait for my regular plumber instead. These guys are available after-hours/on weekends, but you'll pay more for it. They quoted about $1250 for a 40 gallon water heater installed and offered to lower that to $1100. I ended up getting it done with someone else for $975, so $1100 isn't that far off, especially for weekend work.

I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend them.
