When I needed to get a water heater replaced before a weekend after calling it on a Wednesday afternoon, they did it. Every other plumber called could barely send someone to give a quote! It can be hard to find a service company in San Francisco that behaves like they want your business so I was truly grateful. And while the job cost a lot more than I expected, they were able to help with the price because I was in a tight spot financially. Also, when I had an issue that I discovered later on with hot water not getting to the hydronic central heating, Adam came back to bleed the line when I was out of town! That's excellent customer service right there! They have a great team and they run a tight ship!

They did an average job, but charged too much. Before bargaining them down they wanted way too much. If I had not needed the work completed quickly, I would have sent them away. I called and told them how I felt, so I am really surprised that they keep asking me to leave a review. I told them I have rental units, and a home, and I need a good plumber at a good price. They are an OK plumbers who want too much. I'm still looking.

Magic plumbing did what that said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. Up front and honest and on time from start to finish.

Don't be fooled by their fancy website, it is all smoke and mirrors. Would I use Magic Plumbing again, absolutely not! They were supposed to be onsite between 12 and 3 pm but showed up at 4 pm, left at 4 pm for another job, came back at 5 pm, left at 6 pm for another job, came back at 7:30 pm and are still working onsite at 8 pm. Obviously there are doing two jobs at once on different sides of Golden Gate park. To explain, I made an appointment on Saturday for Sunday since Magic Plumbing said they were running behind on Saturday. I asked for a morning appointment and they said I would be notified in the morning as to my appointment time. At 10:30 I received a phone call that the technician would be onsite between noon and 3 pm. I called at 3 pm and they said the technician was running behind, that they could not reach him and that there was no ETA for his arrival. I escalated to the dispatch manager who told me both technicians were working on one problem in the Richmond district. He said they had to run out to their shop by Candlestick but that both would stop by my place in the Sunset to look at the issue of the leak in the kitchen ceiling. One technician came back as promised at 5 pm, worked for about an hour and then said he needed to run to his truck in the Richmond district to get a tool for a rusted bolt. After 1 hour and 15 minutes I called the technician and he said they had run into additional issues on the Richmond district job. Magic Plumbing was obviously doing both jobs simultaneously using both technicians on two separate jobs on either side of Golden Gate Park. After 1.5 hours both technicians came back to the Sunset district. It is now 8 pm and both technicians are still working on an issue that was supposed to be addressed between 12 and 3 pm.

The plumber, Dino, was prompt, polite, efficient and repaired the pipe under our sink quickly, and then cleaned up when finished. He made sure everything worked fine before leaving. My experience with Magic plumbing and in particular, Dino, was excellent, and I won't hesitate to use them again as well as recommend them to friends.
