Description of Work: They came in and completely moved my mother in law's apartment

Description of Work: He hauled away ruble from a kitchen and bathroom demo.

Description of Work: I told him I had a few pieces to be hauled away and he said he could come down within the day. I then asked him how much it would be and said quickly $350.00. I was quiet for a second, and he said "What? Is that not in your budget?" I said well actually no it was not and I thought it would be a little cheaper since it was only 4 pieces. He asked how much I expected it to be and I said mabye $150. He laughed and said "Well I'm working on a budget to and I am running a business here". I said I understood and thanked him for this time. The tone of his voice in this whole conversation was very rude and unprofessional.

Description of Work: I called the company for a possible appointment for an estimate. I described the items I had to have hauled. I was told the job would cost $400.00 cash or $470.00 if I chose to write a check. He asked if this was outside my budget. When I said "yes", he asked how much I had planned to pay. I said I thought the job should cost about $200.00. It sounded like he pulled away from the phone; I heard the word "cheap"; I said "hello" twice but got no answer. Apparently, he had hung up. He never came to see what I had to haul. I called "another company" and they came out for a free estimate. I was quoted a price of $225.00 but the paint cans would cost extra since the city dump charges $5.00 to $10.00 per can depending on the size. We ended up agreeing on $300.00 to haul away my items which included the paint cans.

Description of Work: Haul away junk accumulated in a two bedroom apartment.

Description of Work: Called Lou's Hauling to remove unwanted furniture, and material from the house just days from moving. Called him the same day to remove another heavy item the donation folks would not take.

Description of Work: They loaded all our junk on his truck and swept and cleaned the area after removing. They paid attention to detail. We have used other local haulers, but Lou's was by far the most professional and reliable.
