Two movers showed up on time and moved all of the furniture to the designated areas and finished within the required time. They were friendly and very professional. We were very pleased.

All went well. They were fast and efficient. They assembled the bed for me - and worked on the placement of the furniture. All in all a good move. Would definitely use them again for the next move!

Jay's Small Moves was punctual and arrived right on time at 8am, which I was extremely surprised about especially since it was a Saturday. I was worried about the items that couldn't be put in a box (i.e. large lamps, computer tower, bathroom mats, etc.), but they have large "speed-pak" boxes where they carefully pack the "loose" items in. The team had lots of blankets (for the TV, mirrors, etc.) and shrink wrap (for desks, futon, sofa, etc.). We didn't have our bed disassembled before they arrived, but not to worry because one of the movers did it for us. They have the tools and they are very well experienced because one person disassembled the bed within 10-15 minutes. Needless to say I was impressed. Packing took around a little over a hour and a half and getting to the house took around another half hour. Upon arrival at the house, the team was quick to unload, but also extremely careful about not scratching the walls or leaving any scuff marks on the wood floor. The bed frame was reassembled within 10 minutes (*mind blown*) and they finished unloading within 45 minutes or so. While unloading, they were very attentive to where boxes need to go (boxes labeled kitchen went to the kitchen, etc.). All in all, my wife and I were very surprised at the efficiency and professionalism of the workers. While they are priced $10/hr higher than other movers, I would gladly pay the additional money for the level of service. **As a side note, we provided 3 cold bottles of water for the team - I think this goes a long way!

They were good. I don't remember the cost; it was reasonable. One day and done.

The crew arrived on time and were very professional. We had difficult move because it was large furniture down some tight stairs. The work took longer than we had anticipated but it was not for lack of the men working. They worked steady. We have them scheduled to move the rest of our building in two weeks.

Excellent move! These guys coped really well with changing requirements and a more-difficult-than-anticipated move. They were honest about everything, and handled our stuff with care. They spent like 2x the time they expected to and still counted the hours in our favor. An item got broken during the trip and they were quick to point it out and they will repair or replace it. Always get insurance! There was no damage to either building during the move. I think that the dispatcher might have underestimated the scale of the job a little bit (I know that we underestimated, too, so part of that might be our fault), so the truck they dispatched for this move was just slightly too small so it was a bit cramped. That's no problem for us, but if you're planning on moving, maybe try and be extra generous with your estimate.

Fantastic--called to let me know they'd be a little late, but they were courteous, professional, and FAST. Very conscientious about my things about the building.

Jay's small moves did everything I asked for, in a friendly, fast, and efficient manner. They were flexible when I wasn't quite ready, and totally professional in all phases of the job. Highest recommendation.

It went super. Nothing was damaged or lost. They protected all our furniture and my TV with moving blankets that were wrapped by plastic. They took care to ensure items were not going to be damaged and did so efficiently, so it was an all day affair to wrap up one item. The guys were fun and friendly and made the whole experience better, as this is definitely something I dread doing. Would hire again, no hesitation.

Aside from a couple little snafus (largely around the original quote) the move went very well. The team was prompt, efficient, careful and couldn't have been nicer. I was very happy to have them in my home and working with my things.

Called and made arrangements to have 10 pieces of furniture moved the following weekend. They would arrive in a 2 hour window. The day before the move, someone called to confirm all the details. On moving day, they arrived within the time allotted.They worked efficiently and took care with the furniture, wrapping it in shrink wrap and moving blankets. At the destination, they unloaded and placed the furniture carefully, asking if the placement was correct.The entire move took less than 3 hours. We are very satisfied with the service and will recommend them to anyone who has a "small move"!

Jay's Small Moves was a delight from start to finish. When I called and wanted a in home estimate, but couldn't do it during their normal hours, they arranged for one of the owners to come by at night. They sent an estimate the very next day, and recommended a 5 man crew, and promised that it would not exceed 10 hours. They called the day before the moved to confirm and then showed up on the dot at 8:30am the next morning. After a brief tour, they when to work, and had the whole place was empty within 2.5 hours. They were smart, professional and friendly. They were great unloading too, and the whole move took less than 6 hours, including 45 minute transit time. This is a huge change from the last time we moved, where the movers were nice, but they took 10-12 hours ON EACH END OF THE MOVE. Can't recommend these guys enough.

Arrived on time. Explained all the services they would be doing. Wrapped each piece of furniture with blankets and plastic wrap to protect them. Took apart our bed and loaded everything up quickly. Arrived at the new location, unloaded everything carefully, placed everything in the new space (unwrapped and removed all protective wrap) reassembled the bed and then followed up to make sure everything was okay. Really recommend them. Guys were very professional and friendly.

Three movers showed up on time and were very professional and courteous. I asked for packing services so they brought all the supplies and packed the stuff neatly. When unloading at the condo, they made many adjustments to make sure I was happy with the furniture arrangement. Very happy that I hired them.

Overall, the move went well and the crew was completely professional, nice, and all smiles. We had one small chip in the paint on the side of my living room, when these guys moved the furniture up to the second level. Other than that, this crew was efficient, nice, proactive about being cautious with moving specific items and advising how to protect certain fragile items from being further protected with the move. I would hire them again, but hope to not have to move!

He is good. There was nothing special that stood out but they did a good job. Everything got move from one house to another. It was a very stressful day but they were okay. They were three young people and they were respectful.

Moving is a difficult, often stressful time, and I was so pleased with the movers and this moving company! I will definitely use them again, and based on my experience am happy to recommend them to friends and colleagues. Making the arrangements for the move by phone was quick and easy. They quoted me very accurately for the move, which i appreciated - no last-minute unexpected higher costs at all. The movers arrived within 10 minutes of the scheduled time. i was grateful they agreed to 9 am and not their 8:30 am usual time, so i had a little more time for morning preparations. The movers were friendly, but also very professional and knowledgeable about the move. They were the ideal combination of unobtrusive, but offered advice and reassurance when needed. They were also extremely fast and efficient - much quicker than i anticipated, and had I been better prepared and had fewer personal items, the move would not have taken 4 hours. We had expected to have to hoist my sofa from the 3rd floor windows to the ground. This would have been $100 extra, which i agreed upon during the booking process. The movers determined onsite that they could move the sofa down the stairwell and not charge me the $100, which i also appreciated. At the new place they checked with me on where i wanted each furniture item, so they could set it up for me properly the first time, and were patient about moving boxes that were better suited in a different area, or the storage unit. i was unsure how and how much to tip them, and so asked them in general what happened, and they were very gracious in how they responded, leaving it up to me, and appreciative of the cash tips received.

My son said it was fine. The price was right and the service was good. He liked them. He just said he was happy with the service. They were on time. They did what they were supposed to do. He paid them and they were on their way. He said the price was fair. If he has to move again, he would definitely use Jay’s.
