They were amazing people. I love Janet Moyer. They were perfect from the beginning. They put in a bid for our backyard. They were just so professional and kind. We're a nonprofit organization and it's a small business. We were able to work out a lot of the payment struggles and their bid was very reasonable and they really went above and beyond our expectation. They came in under our budget. They just did an amazing job. Janet Moyer and her husband are great but their staff just are entirely amazing. They came out everyday and did the work and were just professional and on time. They didn't leave a mess.

It went well from beginning to end. Janet and Michael are always on time to the minute. Their initial consultations helped us turn some rather nebulous ideas into concrete plans. They document every step so you always know what they're doing and what to expect. They know the many micro-climates of San Francisco and what plants will and won't work here. Beyond that, they are conscious of the need to conserve resources such as water and power. The equipment they recommend and install is top-of=the line and state of the art. Their crews are polite, hard-working and meticulous about what they do, including the clean-up. We were certainly a small project for them, but we never felt slighted because of it. Highly recommended.

I would not recommend Janet Moyer Landscaping at all. She is a rip off. She stole a $1000 deposit when we decided not to go forward with the project she would not give us our $1000 back. We paid her for the plans separately then we gave her a $1000 deposit for the project. When we decided not to go forward I sent her an email asking for my money back and she completely ignored it. I absolutely would not recommend her ever. We signed a contract, but the way she set it up we didn't ask a lot of questions, she told us we would have to pay for some of the work separately and we did. We wanted to make changes, which she was supposed to be able to do a whole complete set of plans if we wanted. She came up with a plan for the front and said if we didn't like it she would do a whole new set of plans. We just asked her to do a couple of revisions and she didn't modify the plans. I called her and asked her where the revisions were, she ignored my email. She was unresponsive to do the plans before the work was starting. So I got upset and I didn't go forward. We had given her $1000 down but I thought I had a reasonable expectation that if she didn't do the work we would get the money back and she completely blew us off. I just wrote it off. Everything was terrible. She had terrible communication. There isn't one thing I could say she did a good job on. Even the plans that she did, through someone else we ended up making more changes. Her business partner is slimy.

Overall, everything looked good. She cleaned up nicely and I'll use her again in the future.

Overall, the experience went well. They were responsive, their estimates were accurate, they showed up on time for all appointments and provided great services. I would recommend them to others.

They were very good and they are very professional. They are very careful with the paperwork. They didn't do a follow up when they were done. I have called them several times to get them to come out here to check everything.

We had a space of about 300 square feet. They estimated the work to be done for $20,000. The only way to get any kind of break, was if we were willing to do some of the labor!! The end result, we found someone to do the exact same work for under $7000.00. Don't be swayed by fancy binders and paperwork, there are plenty of landscapers who will do a professional job and not deplete your pocketbook.

The easy part was landscape design, and installation. This was a tricky piece of work and I was quite anxious about the precarious state of the hillside. These folks are true professionals. They don't come cheap, but you get your money's worth. They and their subs come when scheduled, perform the work as described, and complete the job without delay. When there are problems and I had a couple, Michael is quick to address them with a minimum of fuss. In all, it was way more money than I anticipated, but the work was good and I'm eager to see the results when the landscaping matures.
