J and L Refinishing Corp is excellent. We used them a nuber of times and they are just top-notch. I can' say enough good things about them. They are reasonable in price, excellent work quality, right on time and they're just absolutely terrific. The chair looks like new. They did an excellent job. We've been very pleased. We've used them 3 or 4 times and it's always been a very positive experience so I give them top marks in everything. I like the quality of the workmanship, how quickly they did it and how right they quoted the price. They are pleasant people. If you're looking for someone to repair your furniture, these people are just top-notch, they do excellent work and they're timely; they get it done quickly. I've never had any problem with the work they've done. They're artists.

Jai, the owner of J and L came to give me an estimate for work on the chairs in mid-May. He quoted a price of $ 85.00 per chair. Even not having any other bids to compare to his, this price seemed reasonable to me, considering that the chairs were in such bad shape. They hadn't been re-glued or refinished since they were new. Jai returned the chairs several days sooner than he promised. They look and feel wonderful and we are 100% pleased with the work. Even though they probably didn't cost a fortune when new, they have sentimental value as they have been in my family for their whole lives and are too comfortable to part with! When it comes time for refinishing, I will be calling Jai again to do the chairs and the table that completes the set.

The finish came out better than we could have hoped for and the price was very reasonable. They arrived and delivered the furniture when the said they would.

They did an absolutely incredible job on many fronts. First, they were incredibly fast and timely in providing an estimate and in then picking the table up - very accomodating to my crazy schedule. They met me on the weekend to look at a possible stain sample. They also uncovered the fact that my table had a leaf system, and then told me they could build matching leafs (two) for the table. This was no small matter as the leafs required rattan edging, so J and L had to go out and find the rattan and then sand it down to match a 50-year old antique table! Amazing. The table and leafs arrived only two weeks later and it absolutely blew my expectations away. The leafs were a perfect match to the table (you cannot even tell they are leafs) and they filled in all of the nicks/scratches on the table, and the stain is superb. I cannot say enough great things about these guys! I am sending 10 chairs their way this week that I found on Craig's List - they are in not the greatest of shape but I know J and L can make them look awesome.

I loved the work of Jand L Refinishing. They were extremely experienced. They stuck to the estimated time that we had set. I was very impressed at how the company made sure I knew everything about what they specialized in. I was sent various email responses, calls were always returned, visuals were set and the customer service was impeccable.

The job was done beautifully. The desk looks spectacular and matches the color swatch exactly. It was delivered on time for the quoted amount. The work was excellent as was the service--they even helped load the desk on my truck as well. Overall, I found the experience of working with them to be first rate and would highly recommend them to anyone in needed of furniture refinishing.

It was completely satisfactory. We emailed pictures of the piece, received an estimate over the phone and arranged a time for them to pick it up. They came exactly when they said they would, took pictures of my dining room furniture so they could match the finish and gave me an estimated time frame for the job. It was done when they said it would be, and they once again delivered it right on time and made sure that I was happy with the work. I would absolutely have them do work for me again.

The work was done with a high degree fo care. Jand L also found replacement knobs that appear very similiar to the original ones that were missing. This piece is a family heirloom, and while the cost of the work was a little high, it was worth it. Excellent job!

J and L have done three or four refinishing and repairing jobs for me. In each case, the work has been outstanding. They are prompt, knowledgeable, very pleasant. They will suggest less expensive alternatives (such as, just refinish this table top, not the legs - they don't need it). Always a good experience.
