Neal, the sales person, was on-top of scheduling and on-hand for the start of the job ... he's a wonderful person, and he took excellent care of us. The crew were all polite, hard-working and careful. I can't imagine a better roofing experience, and I unhesitatingly recommend Highland. To top it off, we also have a ten year labor guarantee, which is double most of their competitors. Highland is tops!
Description of Work: Highland Roofing performed a complete tear-off of an old (and cracked) tar and asphalt roof. Our San Francisco house, built in 1941, is actually composite: most of the roof is flat, though a small section is rounded and requires shingles. They triple-layered the roof with modified bitumen, offered a great selection of shingles, and supplied new gutters, flashing, a scupper, etc. all in thick, high-quality copper. They also painted the skylights for rust protection. All of the work was performed in one day because of a coming rain storm--we actually had two foremen and two crews working on the house. They also performed constant cleanup in the front and back areas of the house, and made sure the interior below the skylights was protected with a tarp.

+ -1 moreTheir prices were almost $2000 less than other companies that provided bids. The job took 1 and a half days because I have a light well. The salesman was very thorough and brought a sample of the materials.
