Tommy was great to work with and coordinate services even after PODS messed up the delivery. The guys went to PODS warehouse and loaded up the items and moved them into the condo. This is my second time using them this year and I would absolutely use them again! Great job guys, thanks!

From start to finish, we had a fabulous experience with Hauling Moses. The staff are very friendly and professional. They packed and moved our three bedroom, two bath house into a storage unit. Everything was carefully packed and the move was done with precision. I can't say enough good things about this company and highly recommend. them.

Be very clear as to what your own expectations and capacities are NOW as to what they might have been the last time you moved, in my case 26 years ago. I think the problems we had basically came down to what i thought i could do by myself and with a 8 hours of help from my cleaning lady. When moving day actually arrived, that really wasn't anywhere near enough. It took a lot of men and two trucks over 2 days to get me moved.

This company IS THE VERY BEST! Everyone is MAGNIFICENT! The move went extremely smoothly. The crew was AMAZING! The furniture, including 5 Grandfather Clocks, especially a very old, handmade clock, were very carefully taken apart & packed very carefully. We have a lot of very old Antique furniture that is very heavy & very fragile. Each item was carefully wrapped, packed in cardboard when necessary, very carefully loaded onto, then off the truck & put in to place. They were extremely polite, followed directions, respectful & kept checking in to be sure I was happy & satisfied. The move was more involved than the estimator realized, the crew ended up working a 14 hour day/night! They were cheerful, great attitude the entire time, never complaining. I would very HIGHLY RECCOMMEND HAULING MOSES!!

Very quick, efficient, and careful with moving furniture. They moved three ikea shelving units(not dismantled) without damaging them! They were also surprisingly fast-- thought I had way too much stuff, but they got it done in the minimum amount of time. Was my first time hiring movers, and I will definitely just call them for my next move.

We had a last minute move, and the moving company that was recommended to us was booked for two weeks. After doing a HomeAdvisor search, we found Hauling Moses. Not only are they incredibly responsive, there quality of work is phenomenal. We would definitely use them again.

I hired Hauling Moses to move my furniture and boxes of stuff from a house in Oakland to a condo in Concord. I packed the boxes myself. They had a rep come by to do an inventory and provide an estimate ahead of time. I paid a deposit and set the date. Three movers came on the date scheduled. The foreman was very nice and went through the house and discussed the job. All three movers were very polite and professional and listened and moved everything just as I requested. They padded the furniture and loaded it to the truck. They worked the entire time. They drove to Concord, unloaded and moved everything into the condo, put everything where I wanted and re-assembled all the furniture perfectly. It took about 6 hours. They came in on budget. I am very happy with the job.

Hauling Moses is an exceptional moving company that doesn't keep any secrets from you and goes out of its way from start to finish to make sure your move goes smoothly. This is drastically different from every other bay area mover I have worked with so far. No sketchiness, total kindness, and care from start to finish. To start, they send out an appraiser to visit your space. They calculate the amount of time they think your move will take, and then an absolute maximum. Before the move even starts, you know the max price that you will pay, regardless of what occurs. Next, the awesome logistics team coordinates with you. They are professional and responsive. I needed proof of insurance, and had several questions about the move. All of this was put to rest within 24 hours of tentatively scheduling. Two days before the move, one of their logistics coordinators called me to ensure we were ready, and to be available for any further questions. Tell me your moving company offered this much prep work, free of charge. On the day of the move, the team called and let us know when they would arrive. They were incredibly careful, both with our building, and our furniture. They were not the fastest movers I've ever had, and this is a good thing. Other movers break and scratch so many things from rushed carelessness. Everything was wrapped according to my specifications, with them asking specifically what I would and would not like wrapped as we went. They packed the truck, and then our storage unit like champions! There were more than 10 ft squared left in the unit thanks to how they packed it. The movers were courteous, kind, and funny, and made a usually stressful process an easier one. We paid more than one thousand dollars less than our estimated maximum, taking much fewer hours and supplies even with all the careful work the team did before moving our items. If you need movers that you can trust, I don't think you can get any better than Hauling Moses.

To follow up, the company contacted me several hours after reading the post, with great concern. I felt heard. What they offered and the level of support and sincerity has prompted me to re-rate this organization to 4 stars. The team was well coordinated, efficient and personable.
