FLOORCRAFT CARPET ONE

Absolutely terrible experience with Floorcraft. DO NOT HIRE. First, they took 4+ weeks to decide on a timeline for when they could start my project. Horrible communication, I could only get updates when I called. If I didn't call to make sure things were getting scheduled, nothing would progress. Then they finally came to do the floor and the work was okay, but they spilled stain all over my walls and baseboards. They pretended like it was fine and that I could just have a painter cover it. The painter says he has never seen anything like that and it's terrible workmanship by Floorcraft. I was able to get Floorcraft to come back and paint over the stains on the walls but they missed many places. Then, I noticed they missed installing baseboards in multiple places, I let them know, but they refused to come finish the job and had already moved onto another project. They take no responsibility for not finishing the job. They also left wood dust everywhere and refused to clean it which cost me $870 additional in construction site cleanup fees from a cleaning agency. Would never hire again, and only hired the first time because they had a special deal with my insurance company (this was flood restoration). Headaches the entire way and I had to stay on top of everything they were doing. My project manager was Richard Ticas.

Pretty well. They are all very nice people to deal with, but they do get busy and can be difficult to get to by telephone. Once you get a sales person in the store, they will give you all the time you need. They are quite knowledgeable and helpful, but even when you leave a message on the voice mail, it may take days for you to get a response. I'm giving them a B instead of a C for responsiveness because I like them and would go back there. I'm remodeling both my kitchen and bathroom at the same time, and so went there at least 10 times during the decision making process times. While writing this I recall at least 3 times that I've left phone messages for my particular sales person and they never got back to me. Once in the store, my person wrote down in his notebook questions I had that he was going to get back to me on, samples that he was going to order for me, and I never heard from him again. So if you are not at the store, you need to call them a lot before you get a response. In the store, they are great. Having said this, I realize that even though I'm being truthful about my experience, I don't like giving them a negative review and I would go back to them again. Maybe I was being impatient and they were going through a particularly busy time.

For flooring products highly recommend you work with Gary Andrews and Floorcraft. We just purchased new carpeting and padding for our stairs and 2nd floor and were very pleased with his service and the price. Their estimator is excellent and honest, and their installers are outstanding.

Paule, Marty and Paolo in the tile dept and Gary and Dave in the flooring were all very helpful. We had one or two glitches with the wrong color tile being delivered a few months ago, but they got everything sorted out ASAP. We love the tile we bought from them and had installed and are looking forward to having the carpet installed on some stairs that lead to our garage. Paule always has great suggestions and will help try to expedite shipping if she can, and can help you identify tile that they have in stock all the time which makes it super easy to get additional tile if you need it. Marty and Paule also recommended a tile installer, George, who did a superb job on a kitchen backsplash for us.

I never got an estimate. They are so big that maybe they didn't think I was ready to make a decision yet. They came out and measured and I picked out three and they said they would give me an estimate and they never did. I even went in the store later and told them they didn't give me an estimate. They said they would get it to me and they never did. The guy that came out to measure seemed to be pretty knowledgeable and thorough.

Mediocre experience. Had some issues getting items delivered in time. Poor communication. Service did not justify the price

Went in for a quote and got drawings and an estimate on the spot plus a recommendation for a contractor.

Despite its name, Floorcraft has a great selection of bathroom fixtures. The man who runs the department is great - he was extremely helpful, always followed up, and his prices were very competitive. I wish I could give him an A+ for customer service - I had told him I didn't need my materials until end of week, but he informed me that the delivery was would be Tuesday. Sadly - when the Tuesday deliver arrived, one of my pieces wasn't there. Not only did Floorcraft hustle to get the missing piece delivered ASAP (even again after I reminded them that I didn't need anything for a few days), they also had everything delivered to my house for free. You can't ask for better service than that. Floorcraft will be the first place I stop for my next bathroom remodel.

Very friendly in store

They were very polite and very nice. They got back to me in a few days with the estimate. There was no problem with their punctuality for the appointment as well as for getting the estimate back to me. I would consider using them in the future.

The salespeople were helpful, and the installer was very prompt, professional, and careful, and didn't damage the woodwork. A good value.

My dog had ruined a wooden parquet floor in a long hallway. Richard from Floorcraft came out to give a bid. He suggested replacing the wood with a synthetic floor covering because the dog urine would just rot the wood. His estimate was significantly less than the estimate our handyman gave us.

Nice job. No evident seams. Cleaned up nicely. Punctual, friendly and professional.

It was a very good experience. I picked out what I wanted and they installed it the way I wanted it. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

We are very happy with the results. We visited the showroom several times while in the process of comparison shopping. The staff was always friendly and helpful. They have a huge stock of high quality wool and synthetic carpet remnants and are open 7 days a week. After installation, one of the rugs off-gassed for several weeks. Thank goodness it was in a guest room that we haven't had to use recently and all is well now (2 months later). I do wish I had been warned about off-gassing so that we could have vacuumed several times before placing heavy furniture on it. I may very well have selected a different carpet, they had so many to choose from. I'm not sure they would have known that I was going to have an off-gassing problem. I sure didn't know enough to ask about it.

We originally selected our vinyl from remnants at Floorcraft in March, the installation occurred in July. In that time frame the remnant we had chosen had been misplaced but Floorcraft quickly worked with us to credit what we had spent on new material that we chose. The remnant that we had selected was not big enough anyway so it worked out for everyone. The measure and install appointment were quick and painless. They arrived on time and we were happy with the new floor. The floor in the laundry room had some bubbling when the baseboards went in but Floorcraft quickly responded and fixed the problem the next day with no delays to the project. Overall we are happy with the floor and the response time to our one minor problem.

They did do a pretty good job overall but there were some things that I wish they would have done differently. I really didn't care for the way that our stairway turned out however we were not here at the time of the installation. I think the next time I use them, I would be here to over see the project being done.

Installers were great! Friendly, helpful, and clean. Store had good selection and fair prices. Work was scheduled within 2 weeks. Very pleased with the overall process and result.

Their remnant section is the best place in town for carpets. Rapid turnover of remnants.
