He was very nice, responsible and responsive when he gave us the quote on time as promised. It was a great experience, since he is a people friendly person and also seemed professional and accommodating.

Lee was extremely responsive, professional, communicative, and gave us helpful information about our project. Not only did he have numerous suggestions about the design and layout and options for our project (he clearly demonstrated architectural expertise), but he imparted the wisdom of his years of experience with home renovations/additions. He gave us advice on contractors, city permitting, and other aspects of the proposed project with which we were unfamiliar. Unfortunately, one piece of unexpected information was the estimated cost of the materials/contractors required for our project. Based on other sources, we had vastly undestimated some of these costs, but Lee gave us a frank and comprehensive opinion based on our experience. The cost estimate for Lee's architectural services was extremely reasonable and market-competitive. But unfortunately, we decided we can't afford the materials and labor for the project itself at this time. As soon as we're ready , we'll definitely be calling Lee again to have him finalize and oversee the plans for our addition.

We haven’t decided yet which architect to use because it is still unclear what we can and cannot do. He was excellent and I think he brought a lot of pertinent information with him. He knew what he was talking about and he helped us look through some of our options. He is an extremely strong contender for the work; he totally had it together. We actually have personal relationships with two other architects so we may end up using them, but he was really excellent. He actually came out the same day that we called him.

Having never hired an architect we were a little nervous at first - it sounded expensive. We had a simple kitchen remodel and wanted it done simply, but well, and without headaches. We were also cost- conscious and on a short schedule. Lee understood our needs and took care of things for us. He had a lot of great ideas and was prompt and knowledgeable. With his help we wound up saving time and money and also got a very nice kitchen. We were very satisfied and will definately call him before we do anything else when we're ready to do our next projec

Lee Hammack performed all the architectural services for our house remodeling project from initial conception through to final approval. Throughout, Lee was professional and business-like. He was straightforward and did everything he said he would do. As it was our first remodeling project, he kept us informed of everything as it was happening, and warned of potential "gotchas". Architecturally, Lee had many creative ideas, yet always worked collaboratively with our ideas. He was pragmatic and detail-oriented. When problems or challenges arose, he informed us and involved us in the resolution. His experience helped to guide our project through the city permitting process. Overall, the project was a success. We had none of the horror stories usually associated with house remodels. We did a lot of re-design with Lee prior to beginning the work. As a result, the design that went out to the contractor for bid was very close to what was finally built. As a result, the project completed within the initial estimates (provided by Lee) and within the contractor's bid. It also completed on schedule. We would recommend Lee to anyone pursuing work on their home -- whether it is a small or large project.
