COLOR TOUCH PAINTING: Fine Painting Contractors

The job went well from start to finish. Todd stuck to the time frame and budget. The house turned out beautiful. I plan to hire Color touch again for some interior painting I need done. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has painting needs.

Todd is very responsive and worked in my budget. He's easygoing and does his best to meet your timeframe and budget. The whole project to about 2 weeks after the scaffolding went up. Since I do not live in the building, he would take photos from each phase and send them to me and described the process every step of the way. There was some patches done by a previous contractor where he couldn't get some of the old paint off so he showed me those patches and explained the situation. The finished product was exactly how I wanted it to be given the condition of the building. Now, it looks great!

They did an excellent, detailed, job. Todd is a honest, trustworthy guy. I'd hire him again.

My experience with Todd, from beginning to end was excellent. His bid for the work was fair and, upon my acceptance, started working the next day. Where we weren't sure what we wanted, his suggestions were very helpfull. He had a lot of knowledge of color and how lighting effects it. He and the people working for him were completely professional at all times. They cleaned up at the end of each day and they were very informative regarding the progress of the work and how long more it would take to finish. I added additional work and they completed it too, before our deadline. I highly recommend Color Touch Painting to anyone and I will hire them for my future work.

Like all of the highly-rated painters I contacted, it took some prodding to get a prompt estimate, but once that was settled, work was completed quickly within a few days, quality of work was excellent as far as I can tell, and the cost was well below that of other offers.

We had an excellent experience with Color Touch from start to finish. Todd was clear and timely in his communications, and provided us with an estimate that was thorough and fair, if not the lowest of several estimates we received. Over the course of the project, which lasted several weeks, the Color Touch crew were courteous, professional, punctual, and very hard-working. They paid close attention to details we might have easily overlooked, and clearly took pride in the quality of their work. As often occurs on larger projects, there were occasional changes and items needing clarification. In our case, we have an older home, and while relatively small, it had 41 older windows requiring extensive glazing. Todd and his crew were notably consistent in setting and meeting expectations, such that we always knew where things were in the process, what was coming next, and the time frame in which it would occur. When some items took longer than expected, they explained why, and kept us apprised of how it would impact the overall schedule. They quickly earned our trust and respect for their professionalism and high standards. Color-touch was a great choice for our project. We would endorse them wholeheartedly for any painting project, and would use them again without hesitation.

Todd, the owner of Color Touch, was great to work with. We had recently repainted the interior of our whole house, but didn't like the color in our living/dining area. It was a dark gray and made the space too submarine-like. We wanted to repaint it a lighter gray color. We found Todd on yelp and he gave us a very reasonable price to repaint. He showed up on time, did an excellent job, and our final bill was even less than his original quote! He said he didn't end up needing 3 coats of paint which he had quoted so he was able to charge us less. The quality is great and we will definitely use him and his crew again in the future.

Todd and his painters were punctual, professional and did a great job. All of the doors, cabinets and trim in our house are wood, and he made sure that they stayed clean. Our floors had also just been refinished and he did a thorough job protecting them during painting. He also completed the job in less time than he originally quoted. We will definitely remember them the next time we need work done.

I have really old house with a lot of wood trims. Todd matched stains for new windows with rest of the house and it blends in very nicely. He also stripped whole ceiling of the 1 bedroom and finished up.Originally it was planned to just pactch up and paint. But he realized it wouldn't work, so he decided to do whole thing and gave discount on hourly charge for the work. Finished work looks really good and I am quite happy

We were impressed by the professionalism and quality of work of Todd and his team. The work was done exactly as requested, the painters were skilled, polite, considerate, and cleaned up thoroughly. The price was reasonable -- better than several other companies we interviewed but rejected because they seemed less professional. Todd even removed some primer that we accidentally spilled on new tile while doing some work ourselves. He also offered good advice about our future painting plans. We look forward to hiring the company again.

Right after arriving to start the job, Todd realized that it was much harder to remove the paint than he had estimated in his bid. He mentioned that he would need significantly more time, but lowered his hourly rate to offset part of the extra cost. Overall, I felt that this was handled very professionally and we did not feel taken advantage of. He and his crew then meticulously removed the many layers of old paint using heat guns and spent even more time than in the revised estimate (but without charging us anything extra). The crew arrived early in the morning every day, and spent the whole day working non-stop. We were very impressed. On the last day they carefully reviewed their work with us and made touchups where required for a perfect look. They then performed a careful final cleaning of the job site. The end result looks beautiful!

I hired Colortouch to paint my living room , dining room, entryway and guest room. There were lots of cracks and peeling paint. Todd and his crew did a wonderful job. They were punctual efficient and professional

We wanted some interior painting done in our newly purchased townhouse before we moved in. Todd was very quick to call back when we called to inquire about his services. He was quite flexible on the time to do the in-house estimate and was punctual. He was professional and accommodating to our requests. He made it clear that he'd be interested to know if another company could quote us a lower price and he would be open to negotiation. He was clearly interested in getting our business which we liked. He followed up via email and phone call. He was willing to do the job right away and even started on a Sunday! All the surfaces that could accidentally be splattered with paint were covered. He offered suggestions as to the different colors we can possibly use, but was never pushy. He even went with us to Lowe's to help choose the right shade of blue and red. The original estimate was for 2 coats of paint but our bathroom required 3 coats. The add-on price was still reasonable. Our townhouse turned out really well after the paint job! We would highly recommend Color Touch Painting!

The price was pretty good. While they were waiting or the first coat to dry to apply the second coat, they saw that I had paint out for the walls and they painted those too while they were waiting, which was cool.

Todd was immediately responsive to come out for an in-house estimate in Oakland. We appreciated his punctuality and professionalism. His bid was in line with our expectations, though slightly higher than the painter we ended up selecting. Ultimately we decided to go with someone that was coincidentally in the neighborhood which gave us ease of mind for getting a rather quick job done. While we can't comment on the execution of the work, we would call again if we needed to bid out another project.

Everything was fine -- Todd and crew additionally got another job from one neighbor after ours, and now has an upcoming larger one across the street when weather permits. Guess that sorta says it all.....

They painted the exterior in two colors. They charged me $21000. It was my first experience with them and they did a great job. The job turned out to be very well. They did stripping and then the painting. I think they did that with both pressurewasher and sandpaper. They did a good job cleaning up. I did not have any complaints. The work took five works to complete. I would recommend them to others because the owner was onsite. I will use them again in the future.

We were very happy about the consultation. We talked to them in detail about exactly what they would do, they provided us with a quote and they have a great website. We are planning to have them out to do the work.

The service cost me $4500. I will use them again in the future.

They came when they said they would come. I took a little more time to complete the work as the weather was damp. They were very tidy and cleaned up once the job was done. Their pricing was reasonable as well. They did a beautiful job while painting the decks. The quality of their work was very good and I was satisfied with their service.

Todd was an excellent vendor. He immediately understood my budget and time contraints - I have two small kids and wanted a quick paint job to get color into the house without alot of distruption - and he made excellent suggestions to get me there, i.e. just paint the walls and touch up the trim with small ceiling work where it was really needed. I had about 5 bidders walk through the space and had bids ranging from $4500 to over $10,000 with time estimates ranging from 5 days to 3 weeks. Todd got me exactly what I wanted in 2.5 days under his original estimate. He was also extremely helpful in assistance with color selection and zero or low VOC paint products for the kids.
