Overall, good communication with the contractor. He is very thorough and knows his stuff. I liked the fact that he and just 1 helper did all the work - There were lots of complications - but nothing of that was the contractor's fault. It is just extremely difficult to incorporate the new structural requirements in an old building.

Everything went very well. They are very responsive and the porject manager always followed up with the work. They the job site very clean as well.

Mike Cahalan gave us bid on replacing windows and painting the exterior. Although we decided to go with two separate contractors (one windows, one painting) Mike gave a competitive bid and was very professional. He came out quickly, stayed in touch, and gave us a competitive bid. We will keep in mind for any future projects.

It went great. They came and repaired everything promptly.

My experience with him was good and he was very good. He kept me updated, he was thorough and conscientious. I spent about $7000 or $8000 on that work.

They started the job a little later than anticipated, but a start date was never confirmed. Once they started, they were at our house every day on time. They were always courteous, respectful, and always nice enough to answer any less than stellar questions we might have. There was a slight snag in waiting for inspections, but they applied for and obtained everything we needed prior to start of the job. Everything was signed off on. And any issue we had was fixed immediately. These guys are tops and did a fantastic job.

Each case was different. The last time I used him was to update lighting in the kitchen, dining room, and family room. As above, he came several times to map out the project, started on time and ended on time, with minimal fuss or mess.

They are a licensed contractor and had an excellent price in comparison to three other quotes I got. They are a fairly small outfit, although they were very good and stayed with it. His workman were very good about clean up and staying with the work to get it done.

Everything turned out quite well. The price was reasonable and the work was extremely timely. He was very easy to work with, and was extremely down-to-earth and practical. He got the appropriate permits before work began, which I appreciated. I was happy with his work and would use him again.

He is always ready with good alternatives to keep the project within my budget and still do an excellent job. I relied completely on his expertise and was very satisfied. He showed up on time and finished when he said he would.

This job was finished on time and professionally. The final cost was higher than the bid because a new problem was discovered during the course of work (a rain gutter had to be installed). The repairs were meant to fix a leaky area and they withstood the recent winter storms well -- no leaks to date.

We had plans drawn up by an engineer and interviewed several contractors. Some claimed they couldn't do the job for anything near our budget and didn't give an estimate, some quibbled with the engineer's specs and tried to allow us to do things differently, others that submitted estimates were way too high. Cahalan looked at the plans, did not argue with what was designed, presented an estimate that was the lowest by far. He started the work when he said he would, completed the job on time and passed all building inspections. Despite some unexpected discoveries when doing excavating that required additional work, Cahalan was able to adapt and solve the problem without charging extra.

Mike and his crew were great to work with and very responsive.

HE REALLY KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING. IT'S HARD TO FIND SOMEONE WHO DOES A GOOD JOB ON STUCCO, AND JERRY REALLY KNEW HIS STUFF. HE'S A REAL HONEST GUY AND HARD WORKING.
