Terrible communications. Service should be performed within a REASONABLE time from using the coupon and ordering service. Waited 60 days.

Cabrillo plumbing will not give you an estimate for a job over the phone because they do estimates by the job. They came out and spent 10 minutes to install the new filter. The technician was here for an hour trying to figure out how much to charge me. Then a price of $189.95 was given to me!!! For 10 minutes of work?!?!?! Minus the $29.95 for the service fee to show up to give you a quote, I spent $160.00 for 10 minutes of work. It was as simple as unscrewing the old filter and screwing in the new filter, which I supplied! I felt a little taken advantage of because I could not do this work myself. The technician that had shown made me aware that the price would have been $800.00 had I not supplied my own filter. As he confidentially said to me, "Don't call us for small jobs." They actually agrued with me on the phone when I requested a quote on the phone. All I wanted to know was what the hourly rate for having a plumber out to my house was and they would not give me a rate!!! I just don't think this is right. I had such a great experience with this company last summer, and then they go and do this.

The guy was very nice and do not have anything to complain about.

Cabrillo Plumbing were pretty expensive. We wanted them to do 3 hose bibs and unblock a sink but we had them do only 2 hose bibs because they were too expensive. The guy who came out was nice, he had booties for his shoes, he was in uniform, they came when they said they were going to come and did exactly what they said they were going to do.

I have tried for over a week to schedule an appointment with this company and have been unable to get ahold of them.

The technician explained exactly what he was doing and the issues that he found. We had just bought the house and the 11 year old water heater was probably never cleaned. He did not scare us about our old heater and push us to purchase a new water heater which I was impressed with. I will definitely use this company again if I need to get my heater cleaned or purchase a new one at some point.

I've used cabrillo Plumbing before and this experience was as good as the past experiences. Their people are very knowledgeable, professional, punctual, and have always met or exceeded my expectations. Mike Kent arrived and walked the house with me identifying where each gas appliance was located. He computed the BTU's of each component, measured the length of run from the meter and then was able to compute the proper gas line size. He had all the charts and information that he needed in his iPad and he had the answers on the spot. Very professional. It is true that Cabrillo is not the cheapest plumbing contractor in town, but they are likely the best. I have complete confidence in what they have done for me and I would use them again.

The video showed no major problems, so he ended up not having to do any cleaning of the main line. He did identify a possible sewer problem just off my property, and gave the contact information for the county sewer service.

Everything went just fine. They showed up on time and they honored their estimate. They just did the work that they said they were going to do and they gave a report on the condition.

The technician spent, all told, about two hours inspecting, adjusting, cleaning (non-disposable air filter). He was very thorough and pointed out that some rusting of the housing suggested a new furnace will be needed at some point, though not necessarily right away, and recommended that a CO detector be installed. He left us with a bid for the furnace job after taking measurements of the living space. He was courteous, cleanly dressed, well spoken and clear in his suggestions. We would certainly call again.

went online. called several plumbing firms. the most professional on the phone was Cabrillo. They made an appointment (in line with other estimates) and their assessment was reasonable. the work was completed quickly and timely. 120 days later all is still fine. Professional, Responsive, Reasonable, and the Results did the trick.

Coming out in their all white pants, white shirts, white shoes, white hat and white truck was cute and mildly impressive. My sewer main line was clogged. They were not able to clear the clog. They used their "special" camera and was not able to show me where the clog was but insisted the clog under my 110+ft palm trees. They insisted the sewer main line was under the trees and at least one tree was going to have to be removed. They would charge me for taking down the tree and then removing it. I insisted that the main line was NOT under the trees since I took part in digging the trench and watched the installation of the sewer pipes. They said they would have to dig another trench x amount of feet into the ground, remove the old pipe and replace it with a new pipe with a special chemical that would r***** root growth and blah, blah, blah. I asked how much would all of this cost me. They said they would send an estimate by the end of the day. I waited 2 days and called for the estimate. 4 days later, they still had not responded with the estimate. Finally after I called about 3 times, someone finally sent an estimate ranging from 14 thousand to 19,274.62. This is for performing work that really did not need to be done. I got the impression that because I am a woman they thought I would not know anything about the location of my sewer lines. The palm trees was there long before the pipe line and no one dug a trench under the tree to install the pipe. I had the problem resolved for LESS THAN a fraction of their lowest estimate. They charged me $103.80 for that fabricated information.

I had purchased a coupon for main line cleaning with camera inspection. After looking at my line, he told me that everything was clean except for an area just downhill of my property where a tree root was pushing down on the sewer line, causing water to pool in that area. As a result, he felt that no cleaning was needed, which was good but it meant I may have paid a steep price for just the camera view. He did give me info about contacting the County sewer department to see what they might be able to do about my line.

Overall, they were professional, provided their input and insights, and left after cleaning up. Great experience with them. Plus -- they provided all their receipts and docs to us in a nice, neat folder (for me to file!)

The plumber tried to price gouge me, saying that I would probably need a new toilet plus an inspection of underlying pipes for what turned out to be a minor repair. I do NOT recommend.

Very smooth and professional. Our contractor decided to give us a pressure valve replacement instead of the offered item because that's what we needed.

We had a slow draining bathroom sink. Cabrillo came at the scheduled time and cleared it. There have been no problems with that sink since. The plumber was courteous and very conscious of not making a mess. He made extra sure everything was clean before he left. I was very happy with the service and recommend them if you want a job done right. I only wish they were a little less expensive.

Technician arrived on time with the appropriate equipment. Cleaned out the major drain in a couple of minutes and demonstrated it worked. Second drain was too blocked to get full router through, but he did manage to get a probe through it. Work took under an hour, but only 1 of the 2 drains was cleared. A couple of days later we had our first serious rain, and the first drain immediately blocked up. Called Cabrillo and they came out and cleared it again as a "customer courtesy" as clearing a drain is no guarantee that it won't immediately block again. I found that response insulting and will not be using their services again. Another plumber did manage to clear out the first drain, so I consider this visit a complete waste of my time and money.

we had a very good experience with the technician at cabrillo the technitian was on time, freindly and didnt mind taking time to answer our numerous questions. he snaked and video scoped our pipes in a timely manner. he didnt mid us watching and asking questions as he worked. we were very impressed with his professionalism and the time he took to insure the drain was running smooth before leaving. my only (minor) complaint is that i later found out that redwood city performs this service for free. but i dont fault cabrillo. that is something i had to learn on my own. so, yes i feel confident to call them for any plumbing jobs in the future. however, if this problem happens again, i will call the city first.
