The furnace inspection went well. He recommended replacing both our furnace and hot water heater because both are quite old, but they are still functional. He stated there was no danger if we did not replace them immediately, but did recommend that we do so soon. The new hot/cold water heater/filter is fine and the service provider finished it in a timely fashion (about two hours). He had to go pick up the unit from a local supplier. My only issue is the charge for replacing the unit. He quoted a price of $800.00 to replace the faucet only, and $1624 to replace the entire unit. Because he was present and I was desperate to have this faucet repaired. I chose to go ahead and replace the entire unit. When the job was completed I was given a summary of work done, but not an itemized bill. i.e. I do not know what the costs for parts and labor were. I thought that the price was high and looked on line to try to get an idea of what the acutal costs of the parts were. The entire unit retail would have cost about $555.00 max for the unit (but it was going for as low as $270.00 on Amazon). The $800.00 quote only referred to replacing the faucet itself with labor. The replacement of the entire unit (faucets plus filter system) took about two hours. So to remove the old hot/cold filter systema and replace it with two hours of labor I was charged a whopping 1624.00. Looking back I should have followed up on this with the company and requested an itemized bill. Because of the charges involved I would not use this company again. However, I was very pleased with the professionalism of the service provider.

I felt it was a hard sell for the top water heater and yearly maintenance. How in the world did I end up paying $2,000?? Not very bright. The work was good, the water heater is good, the guy was good, I was dumb -- I bought into the sale. Duh on my part, but I wouldn't use them again because of the push, except that I am supposed to have yearly water heater checks which I havne't done yet.

Cabrillo came as schedule and finished the process within an hour. I couldn't really tell if things got better or not since nothing was broken.

This company always does a great job- they are thorough, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They always do quality work, too.

The work that the plumber did was fine, but I didn't understand why it was that he charged me additional money and they didn't bother to explain. He was only at the house for maybe 2 hours. He fixed a leaking kitchen faucent and one in a bathroom.

The plumber that came out wrote up the estimate, asked me if I wanted some pipes and drains replaced also besides just installing new fixtures. After to agreeing to the price, he did a great job installing all the fixtures and pipes.It looks and works great.

As expected they were timely and efficient

Plumber arrived on time. I was in a cast and couldn't show him to the utility room which was downstairs. He found it, drained the water heater and filled it back up. Gave me a new anode as he said mine was wire thin. The buildup of scale was not as bad as one would think for this area of Los Altos Hills. Probably took no more than one hour. Very professional and clean, excellent manners.

Complete blockage of sewer drain. Cleanout got covered up when house was rebuilt 5 years ago. Toilet had to be removed to get tree roots etc out. Kitchen faucet had to be replaced. It was leaking under the kitchen sink. Camera down drain showed future trouble spots. Pleased with their work. Will hire them again when needed.

I bought a special offered by Angie's List for $200 worth of services from Cabrillo. The plumber came on time, but the price was incredible for the amount of work involved. Since I had already bought the $200 worth of service and he was already there, I figured I would go ahead rather than waste the money and have to find another plumber. I told him I thought the cost was too high, but he said it was their pricing policy and there was nothing he could do. He did the work, but the next morning I checked under the sink and it was leaking. I called and they did get someone out within several hours to repair the leak.

I called PG&E after smelling gas; they replaced the meter but said there was a leak on my side of the meter and I would have to have a plumber look into it.I assumed there was only one leak, but there were several which complicated the repair, and also meant it took about 3 and a half days with up to three workers at a time. They were very thorough and considerate. They took care of all permits and paperwork with the county, and were on hand when the county inspector came. I had originally called Bayshore Plumbing, and set up an appointment, then when I was called to say they were on the way, it was Cabrillo Plumbing, so I assume there is a connection between the two companies.

I felt like this was a bait and switch deal. He didn't clean up after him self or anything else really. It felt like they were one of those company's that say they will do something and then when they get there they up the anti. They finally ended up doing the job, they were only there for about 15 minutes and the job was not as big as they made it out to be.

We had them come in, promptly at 9 - and spent 2 hours reviewing the problem. Then they charged us $125 extra for this, and an extra quote for replacing the valve of $529. I asked for a breakdown of how much the valve cost and was told that they don't give the breakdown of the service.I was livid that they I got no service fo $99/-m they charged me an extra $125, and then an extra quote for $529 with no breakdown of how much the valve cost! I called into the manager and had the $125 redacted as it made no sense to pay close to $325 (if I did not have special they had) for a quote!I then got another plumber, who came in, looked at the shower valve at no cost, then went to Saratoga Plumbing, called me from there to tell me the part was $120 and if I was okay with that. I was - he then ordered it for me, came back in 3 days to install it. Total cost - $350.Just beware of what you get for the $99/-. Happy to recommend Bambino Plumbing - is a straight shooter.
