We went to use the garage door and it wouldn't open. Within a couple of hours, they were at our door and fixing it.

David was prompt, friendly, and most importantly knowledgeable about garage doors and their problems. He not only fixed my problem, but also did preventive maintenance to help ensure that other problems don't crop up. Highly recommended.

David Harvey offered to inspect the job the same day. He came out and did the repair on the spot. He did not do any unnecessary work and his price was much lower than expected.

Swimmingly! David performed the work-rescuing us from a bad experience with another company. He came out within a few days (his first available appointment) and arrived a bit early. The work was performed in a timely professional way. He was polite, professional and friendly. He tossed in an extra remote door opener and a tube of grease without charging us extra. The new system works wonderfully and the garage door is quieter than it has ever been.

It started off by an ON TIME arrival to assess my situation. John then gave me background information on the various types of garage doors available and the pros/cons of each. He followed up with an email containing pictures of the different types of doors. Upon deciding to move forward, Dave showed up ON TIME to measure. I could not be at home during the installation, but came home to absolute perfection (and I am picky!!). I couldn't be happier with the level of service and professionalism I received from John and Dave at Bay Area Garage Door.

Our very large and old garage door was on its last legs and came off its track. David and John helped us keep the old door functioning, and when the time came to replace it, helped us in every step of the process. They were honest, polite, and nice people. They did an excellent job, and I would recommend them to anyone.

John performed the service. He is personable and did an excellent job. Only problem is transformer in replacement part emits a buzzing noise which is apparently due to a defective transformer. John has promised to correct this problem once new transformer is in stock.

Pleasant, seems to know what he is doing. Will return to do another small job (change bushings on motor) later this week.

John Wilson very polite and right on time. He worked quickly, finishing the job in less than 1 hour. Seemed reasonably priced. Excellent service!

What a great find for my first time on Angie's List! I'll definitely use the list again. Bay Area Garage Door provided super prompt service and was very knowledgeable. This is a very small company and one of the owners provided the service. Our garage door is now smoother and quieter than ever before. It was a great service experience all around.

John does the estimates, and Dave does the installation. Both were helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. Exactly the sort of people you want to do work for you.

I would definitely recommend this company. They were punctual and professional during the estimate visit and when performing the job. I probably could have shopped around for a better price, but these guys are so good at what they do (and they do it professionally with minimal supervision and in their estimated time) that I gave them the job. And boy am I glad I did! High quality all the way.

The upper tracks were sheared off to construct a room. I removed the room and wanted my sectional door repaired. David came out prom ply and gave me a reasonable estimate (which was the price paid). He had never seen quite this situation before but was able to replace damaged and obsolete components with materials from the shop. He did all work in just a few hours. He cleaned up and removed all unwanted materials. It was a delight to deal with Bay Area Garage Co.
