I got home at 9 p.m. on one of the coldest nights of the year and my furnace wasn't working--Brrrrr! I called Associated Heating and the tech was scheduled to come between 1-2 pm (loved the short time window!). He showed up at 1 pm, quickly figured out that a wire had come loose (darn cats!) and fixed it pronto. Normally they charge $90 just to come out, but because it was such a quick and easy job they gave me a discount (just $60)--you gotta love that!! Next time I have a problem with my heater, I know who I'm calling!!!

It went very well. They called me back a day after I left a message and I was able to schedule an appointment during the week. They showed up within the window of time that they gave. The person who came out was very professional and he did exactly what I needed done.

Very well - showed up on-time, did a thorough job, and even made a call and someone else dropped off a part he needed. I felt the service tech was honest and knowledgeable.

It went really well. The technician came right on schedule. Originally, I was just hoping to get the filters replaced, but the technician was nice enough to inspect the rest of the furnace when I told him it was hard to heat the house when it was really cold outside. He figured out that the electronic ignition valve was too small for the furnace, and not enough gas was getting in, so the flames were very small. He also found that the fan belt was worn down. It took a couple weeks for them to get the filters, but once they did, he came back and installed the electronic ignition valve, filters, and fan belt, and cleaned the jets. After he was done, the furnace was *much* warmer. Additionally, the guy was very friendly and professional the entire time. Clearly, a hard worker who cares about his work.

Responsive, nice, not lowest bid-- though got lowest bid by asking another to beat his price.

I asked for a bid on the job last week. Rod came out and explained to me the way heaters are manufactured. Fascinating. He told me about their duct work--they use 26 gauge steel ducting and cover them with atrofoil--it looks great and it will never change shape or get damaged. I didn't really want to go with Flex aluminum. The price was right in there with the other companies I heard from. What won me was the steel ducting. It didn't change the price as dramatically as I thought it would. And the Honeywell air filtration unit wasn't that much more. I called on Monday and told them they won the job, they were there on Tuesday morning (a crew of 5) and they finished the job by 3 p.m. Great job, very neat, Rod described to me how to clean and change filters on the filtration unit. He repaired the heating grates in the house. He offered to answer any and all questions I might have.

We were having problems keeping the pilot light on. When I finally gave up trying to do it myself, I called Associated for the first time (because of their good review on Angie's List). They made an appointment for the next morning and gave me an estimate of $85 for the call plus parts. They arrived a few minutes early and had the job done in under a 1/2 hour for exactly what they said it would cost.

We were worried about the 50 yr old heater. He arrived on time, said the old heater was fine, but the newer one was hooked up incorrectly and could be dangerous. He turned off its pilot light and recommended we remove it.

The price was fair for the work. There were two people doing the work and it took them about two hours. They did explain the best option for what I wanted and then did it for me. The people were very professional and likeable. I would use them again.

There was 1 person doing the work. It took him about 1 hour and 30 minutes to finish the job. He did check out the rest of the unit and said it was fine. He was very nice, conversational, and professional. I would use them again.

They were able to fix the original leak, but when they were inspecting the unit they missed several others things that were wrong as well. They were not able to properly diagnose the problem and they had to come back multiple times. We had another gas leak. I do not feel like I can rate the price for the service.

I thought they were excellent. They showed up on time and were very reasonably priced. The worker was very nice and a funny guy. They solved two problems for me in one visit by getting rid of the bird's nest too. I would use them again in the future.

They were on time in fact early. They did the work quickly and efficiently. Price-wise Associated was less expensive than most others. I would definitely recommend them.

Rich returned my call three days later and came out to give an estimate. He was prompt and courteous. We set up an appointment and the guys that performed the work were on time, efficient and courteous as well. The work was done quickly, neatly and on budget. The furnace check was performed a couple of days later by another guy who was equally prompt and explained things clearly. Overall, a great experience.

Very professional. Estimator was forthright and explained what needed to be done clearly and completely. Estimate provided was very fair and reasonable compared to other estimates obtained. Work crew arrived on-time, performed work promised at the rate promised. Re-routed exhaust flue from old location which was inappropriate at no additional charge. When complete, showed and explained work that was performed and explained functionality. Work crew was very polite, worked quickly and left the area clean. Insulation applied very neatly. Would definitely use again.

Called the company on short notice with weekend looming. Showed up on time, had requisite parts and deftly installed them. This firm was referred by Peterson Heating which was unable to schedule the work prior to the weekend. Both firms were great!

They arrived on time, finished early and left the garage clean. They were very considerate during the process (answering questions, letting me know they were leaving for lunch, etc.).

Rod the service man was on time, friendly and very competent.
