Working with Adam Wooley was a phenomenal experience. We interviewed a number of landscapers before selecting Adam, and he was far-and-away the most prepared, creative, knowledgable, professional, and good-natured person we spoke with. At the outset, Adam was enthusiastic about developing a creative vision for our project and was able to come up with a design that both my husband and I loved (not easy). He was up-front about costs and was able to work with us to keep the project within our budget, which we really appreciated. Once the project began, it was clear that Adam's quality of work was exceptional. His team was very respectful and meticulous, and the final product was even better than we had envisioned. Adam went above and beyond when he personally stayed late a couple days to make sure the patio tiles were perfectly cut and aligned, when he replaced some broken electrical parts on our pre-existing irrigation system hook-up, and when he helped us resolve some issues with our HOA. The project went a couple days longer than we had planned, but Adam was still able to meet our hard deadline to have everything done before the holidays. Now that it has been a couple months since completing the project, we are still very pleased with Adam's work. The irrigation system has worked beautifully to keep the plants in good shape, and we are happy every time we look out the window. I would highly highly recommend Adam Wooley and Wooley Landscapes.

Work wasn't performed because our situation wasn't in alignment with Adam's service.

Adam finished almost in the time he had stated he would; there was a slight delay due to weather and also due to our adding on a few details as the finished product began to reveal itself. Adam and his team were prompt and worked hard every day and were cheerful and friendly to our kids. The yard looks beautiful -- we took all of Adam's suggestions both in his design and in the actual plantings and we are very glad that we did. His vision is far more complete and beautiful than ours ever was. We are grateful and would use him again, but I can't imagine that we will ever tire of our new gorgeous back yard. His cost estimate was competitive with others that we received, and he promised no hidden or surprise charges. Adam is very talented, trustworthy and reliable and we give Wooley Landscapers the highest recommendation.

we got off to a very late start relative to the start date. Adam Wooley has a small crew so when whether or revisions to other jobs conspired to make one or two run long, we slipped several months in his schedule. We were disappointed but in talking with him and viewing his portfolio, we were comfortable waiting. He gave us a $500 discount on the job for the inconvenience and it went super smoothly once he got started. There was some design tweaks we discussed midway and he was so receptive and responsive to making aesthetic changes while balancing the drainage and runoff concerns that had led to the original layout. The front of our house has been transformed and we love it. Our neighbors and strangers stop to admire it and ask about the work.

Adam took the time to respond to me that he did not offer such services. He then forwarded me the name of a service provider who did such repairs. His professionalism and follow through was beyond my expectations. It was a pleasure to speak with him and his follow through was much appreciated.

The project went flawlessly. After almost a year of use and weather, the patio looks like the day it was installed. Excellent workmanship, good communication, great attitude - overall a positive experience.

I got them on Angie's List. He was dependable and he came on budget. He started and completed the work on time. He's great. I would give him a ten out of ten. He's the best.

Adam and his team transformed our backyard into a kid friendly yet aesthetically pleasing masterpiece. We live on a hill so our backyard sloped. There was a small grass area and the rest was brush. We realized there was a lot of space back there but in its previous state it offered little play area. We had Adam come over one afternoon and we walked through the yard with him with only some rough ideas of what we wanted to do. Adam was able to convert those rough ideas into a concrete design. Once we agree on the design and price his team started on time and stayed within budget. They were able to finish on time and turned out backyard into something my family and neighbors love. We are out there all the time. This was the first work we've had done on our house that was on time and on budget. Not to mention Adam was great at communicating with us along the way without. He also didn't need us to make every little decision. He is really good at understanding your vision and taste then making the right decisions along the way.

Adam took a design we had and did the job for far less than we were quoted from the design firm. He's busy (probably because he does such great work), but if you can grab him to do landscaping, you won't be sorry.

Adam and his team worked with us to design our new backyard, and the results are excellent. We had a basic concept in mind for a very challenging, steep, and difficult yard, and Adam took that direction and far exceeded our expectations with his original design ideas, quality craftsmanship, and ability to adapt to unforeseen changes. His crew was great. His proposal was extremely competitive, and the project stayed exactly on budget. We would absolutely recommend Adam to anyone looking to tackle a landscaping project.

Adam and his crew were a delight to work with throughout the process. In addition to being priced well, he was completely reliable and the work was of outstanding quality. He explained everything, offered feedback on our ideas in the most diplomatic and positive way, and was always both professional and positive. The result met our vision in every way. Adam has true expertise and I would not hesitate to hire him again.

We got Adam out from Angie's List and he did a great job. I have recommended him already. It was a wonderful experience. He did our backyard and it looks fabulous. He totally gutted it and did it over again. It looks great and we love it. His price was good and he was punctual everyday. He was also very professional. We would absolutely use him again in the future.

The overall results were terrific. Adam is a great guy to work with and I have high expectations of the contractors who work on our property. We used a friend who is landscape architect to design the wood and paving location which provided guidance to Adam although he offers this service as well. He provided improvements to our plans and improvised where needed. You can see our Noe design on his website. He built fencing around our stairs for storage, selected the plants in the yard with irrigation, did the stone hardscaping with the appropriate drainage leveling and did a fantastic job on the wood work with the benches, wood retaining wall and wood enclosure for the hot tub. Adam and his team are great and I would recommend them. He stands by his work and helped me a couple items after work completed.

They just finished the job in our yard and it was very good. They did a great job and they seemed great. They showed up on time like 7:30 everyday. They pretty much cleaned up after themselves. They actually listened and paid attention to what we were saying. We were two couples involved in the project because we are in a condo and when we picked the flowers, there were some colors and succulents that the other couple liked downstairs so they put some of those in and then we liked the pansies so they put some of that in too. Their price was also about average compared to the three other estimates that we got. We would use them again and we have already recommended them to other people.

Generally the work went very well, although I got the impression that they were stretched thin at times with other jobs. The only major complaint was with the cement work on the small patio. It was intended to fix depressions and cracked concrete and to allow the patio to drain well toward the street. The first attempt left puddle areas. The second attempt was better although not perfect. They splattered some concrete on the house and after a month of borken appointments to clean it up they said we should clean it because they were too busy with work and personal affairs.

They came out and gave me estimate for the things that I needed done and I have a pretty small yard. He quoted me $5,000.00 which I found very high. I will say the gentleman was very very nice and a pleasure to talk to but that was more than I expected to have to pay.

I could not recommend Adam more highly - he has been such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process from beginning to end. This was my first really large home improvement project so I wasn't too sure what to expect and perhaps a little apprehensive - just didn't know what to expect. After a pretty thorough internet search, I talked to a few different folks and felt like Adam sort of and quot;gotand quot; my general, vague vision and had a lot more creativity to add than what I could ever come up with... which is what I was looking for. Check out his website to get a feel for his particular aesthetic, which I find is exactly the right mix of modern/relaxed. He responded to my email right away, came over and looked at my space - which was a total disaster, seriously - and came up with an awesome design for my small, urban backyard with a ton of issues. As others have mentioned, he is very busy but if your timeline is flexible then he is absolutely worth waiting a little bit to work with. He is a really talented designer/builder and follows through with excellent customer service. He went out of his way to work with our neighbors - which was probably not an easy task for various reasons but a big part of our particular situation - and I heard nothing but compliments from them about Adam. The whole process was actually quite easy and fun - coming home each day to see the progress and more often than not, Adam was there to explain what was done that day, if there were any issues/changes, etc. and what was going to be done in the next day or two. His crew all seemed like nice, hardworking guys that were respectful of our property and the neighbors. My only complaint might be that things ended up taking a bit longer than originally anticipated but with the holidays and so many really rainy days the last month or so, but that can't really be helped - not really anyone's fault there. But Adam has come back a couple of times on the weekends to finish up the last few very minor details, just to have everything 100% perfect and I really appreciate that he takes that level of care. He's just a really good guy and has definitely found his calling - very talented. I would recommend him to any friends/family and would definitely call him first for any future projects. I can't wait for the weather to improve so I can go out and enjoy my new fabulous backyard!

Adam was a real find for our project. He collaborated well, had very good ideas, executed according to his plan and followed up perfectly. We had a major change to our back yard with creating a brick circle along with other changes. If we have any hardscaping work, we’ll definitely hire Adam as there is no reason to look elsewhere.

As I've seen repeatedly on Angies List, good reviews do not translate into great service due to the provider being too busy and overwhelmed with business. Not a bad problem to have I guess but sometimes limits the usefulness of Angies List recommendations. Appointment made for landscaping consultation/estimate early July. Adam was responsive and came by to look at the area and discuss ideas, took notes and measurements. He indicated he would get back with an estimate and plan in a week or so. No response yet 6 weeks later. I understand that he's probably busy with work and that's ok. I'll keep looking.
