excellent. james was our tech. he was friendly, ontime, upfront about pricing. couldn't be happier. this is our second time using Ace as we slowly redo our loft. couldn't be happier with the work...the pricing..their knowledge.

Went well. Plumber sent the video to the city inspector for me and everything!

Being new to the area, we were in need of a plumber and used Angie's List to find Ace. The professionalism from Ace Plumbing from initial contact to visit was top notch. Though our job was not done at that time due to access, their responsiveness, observations, and insights were most helpful & appreciated. We will not hesitate to use them for our next plumbing need.

James arrived on time and was speedy, polite and professional. The clog turned out to be quite difficult, but the attacked it from both sides and got things moving again. Obviously these are not the cheapest guys around, but the ease of scheduling them combined with the really excellent plumber showed who showed up made it worthwhile.

He was very quick & efficient brought in an installed new toilet. In & out in 20 minutes.

They had giving me a 3 PM appointment and arrived 5 hours early at 10 AM. I was thrilled because I needed the work done to prevent more flooding. Yet I think they could have called first. (Note the B for Professionalism.)

He took apart the shower heads and cord and cleaned the filter and testes it every step of the way. He also snaked the drains and pulled clogged debris. He was clean and efficiant, took his shoes off and left them at the door as he was going in and out of the house in the rain. Very professional and we now have our family plumber!

The serviceman Emilio was punctual, accurate with the diagnostics, and was very quick with replacing the thermocouple. Additionally he gave me a lot of hints for future diagnostics. Comes with 90 days of warranty. Another provider I contacted from Angie's List asked me for the brand, model, and the serial number of my water heater over the phone, and concluded that it needs replacement without actually seeing it. The price $1,500! Although my water heater is old, Emilio told me that it is in good shape..

They are always timely and give great advice. I now use them as my regular plumbers

We thought the technician from ACE Plumbing was very professional. He was on time and efficient in cleaning out the pipe. When he came back to make an estimate, he was very thorough ? checked from the street all the way back to the house, including under the deck in the little courtyard, and in the basement.

They did a great job on this occasion. They were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions. They gave me a copy of the video, which was very helpful in assessing a larger issue with tree roots. Now, they've since quoted me too high a price to use them again, but they did a great job here.

Moustafa was professional and gave me tips and how to prevent further problems in the future with the plumbing. He is a gentleman who takes pride in his craft. I have used Ace before and will use them again in the future.

They replaced about 8 feet of sewer line, added a clean out, replaced the trap where the line goes to the street sewer. Dug out all around the pipe in question; removed the roots that had initially caused the damage. They then filled everything back in, packed it in and replaced the concrete. They also replaced a few extra pieces of sidewalk that the city was demanding I replace and charged less than the city or some city-recommended concrete contractors charge for the same thing. Very happy with the overall service.

I spoke to the receptionist and asked if this was really only $99. She said that they want us to buy a dvd of what he sees for $20 and I told her that was fine. She said there were no extra charges. He comes to the house, takes a look and says he had to use the snake, which is an extra service and an extra charge. My wife told him no and said no extra services and asked them to leave. As they were leaving he asked my wife to open the garage door, my wife was intimidated and opened the garage. I have no idea why he wanted to look in our garage. He just left after that. I would not use them again! This affects the reputation of Angie's List!!

Excellent. Mufasta (I think that is his name) was helpful, actually educated me, and did the requested work. He was prepared, and just got the job done with no hassle.

Phillip and apprentice Scotty were awesome! They came, saw, got it done. They were professional, nice, on time, efficient, cleaned up, etc. Thank you guys!!!

I called Ace Plumbing on a Saturday and they had Jeff Otterman come out on Monday to clear our sewer line. Jeff cleared the line and ran a camera through the line to see what was causing the problem. Jeff found that we had tree roots growing into the line and that was because the tree roots, (from next door neighbor?s yard), had lifted part of our old clay pipe near the city main about one inch, he was nice enough to show me in slow motion the camera as it traveled through the pipe and where the problem was. Jeff explained that I had two choices in this matter, either dig up that part of the line or keep having someone come out and snaked my line each time we backed up. I asked him for an estimate to do the work and he provided me with that. We started the project the following Monday, however, what should have taken a day to a day and a-half to complete, it took four days. Jeff explained on the first day that he had several large projects on going and that he had his crew spread out, but he would make sure we had a totally functioning sewer line on the first day. He was true to his word; we did have a sewer line and no problems. Jeff and his crew were friendly and professional, neatly dressed in their uniforms and were hard working, I know because I was mostly on my deck watching them as I did some maintenance around the deck. Jeff would show me at each step what he was doing and then what the completed job looked like. I took photos of the old pipes prior to their removal and work midway through and then the final completion of the job. I must say in due respect, as a mechanical engineer who worked at a gas utility company, the workmanship was excellent, almost textbook quality. I would recommend Jeff Otterman and ACE Plumbing to anyone. My reason for the B?s was that it took 4 days to finish the job and I felt it should have cost about $300.00 less than it did, but all in all they were great.

Things went badly. At the end of several hours work, the problem of the blocked toilet and slow draining shower was unresolved -- the toilet was still blocked and unusable. In addition the plumber told me that to solve the problem I needed to replace 70 feet of sewer line for an estimated $8,700. I was in shock. The next day I called another plumbing company and they solved the problem in 30 minutes for a total charge of $140. A not so bad ending: when I emailed Ace plumbing that I would not proceed with the replacement of the sewer line due to my dissatisfaction with their services, the owner called me right away, offered an apology, and rescinded all charges. I was impressed with his responsiveness and concern for customer satisfaction.

They tore out the shower drain and left a big whole, that they could not fix themselves, they referred me to an associate of theirs, he was not licensed, he gave me a bid for several 1000 of dollars. They put all the their tools straight on my tile floor, no coverings, The new drain they fixed did not fit correctly, They changed my bathroom bits, and throughout the old ones with out my permission.When I first called the owner he said JD was one one of his best plumbers, they were very rude.They tried to sell me on another Bid to take out the outside sewer line, became very pushy using a camara lens and wanted to charge me another $6300.00. The guy they referred to fix the pan in my shower floor was handy Dan, he gave me a bid of $4275.00, his license was expired, so he isn't allow to bid anything. I could just go on and on, really bad experience.

The plumber was a little late, but Ace called to let me know. The plumber was great. Did exactly what he said he would do.

They made every effort to get the job done ASAP. A great bunch of guys, honest, efficence, competent. I believe I may now be out of their service area, hope not!, but would recommend them to anyone.

Called Ace on a Sunday and they were able to schedule a plumber for Monday. Moustafa, the plumber, did a good, thorough job. Appreciate the service

It went very well! Moustafa was very knowledgeable and friendly! He was able to provide a replacement part for one of the toilets and help me install a new toilet. I would go with Ace Plumbing, especially Moustafa, again!

It went very well - I will definitely use Joseph Tinsley again for my next plumbing issue. When he arrived very punctually, I explained as best I could the situation, with my very limited understanding of pumping, and he was able to figure everything out quickly. He even took the time to explain everything to me so that I could fix it myself the next time. Great service!

Monte was great - prompt, and most importantly, listened to me. The water hammer is much better and Monte offered to return to test one more thing to see if we can completely do away with it. The drain was installed just as I wished and at the price quoted.
