The plumber was on time and friendly. Very courteous, and he finished the job quickly.

Joe arrived on time. He made a diagnosis however, I need to hire a roofer to fix my problem as the sewer is not clogged.

The plumber tried hard to fix the problem before getting into a more drastic approach. The old pipe was too worn out to screw on a new top. However, I wonder if the $1300 bill for a four hour job isn't a bit high.

I called about 11:45 am and was told someone would be at my house between 1 and 2pm. Sean showed up at 1:05pm and went to look at the problem to determine which tools he would need for the job. He was very efficient, professional and neat in doing his job and got my sink unclogged within 20 minutes. He was careful in not letting sink water get on the floor and always had a rag nearby to catch any excess. I was given a 10% discount just for using Angie's list to call them.

I called in a plumber not on Angie's list. The estimate was $1300. I then called ace plumbing and rooter in San Fransisco. For the same job the estimate was $650. The job was was done fast and efficiently.

Did the work immediately for exactly the estimated cost. Other estimate was for $200 minimum, with delay to do the work. Plumber took care with old tile, old pipes with no problems at all.

The plumbing team was professional, knowledgeable, provided excellent advice, explained the best courses of action for the problems at hand, assessed what needed to be done, and ensured that the repairs were thorough. They were on time I asked for and received advice on a couple of future projects. They also schedule Saturday appointments, and will call and let you know if they are running late.

Water heater pilot on 12 year old 30 gallon heater went out and would not stay lit. Found Ace on Angie's List and they came out next morning within 1 hour of calling them and estimated replacing the unit at $1100 (parts and labor). They replaced the thermo-coupler for no charge and got the heater working since they could not do a replacement that day. Amazing! They also offered I could use the time to find my own heater, which I did for only $350 for a larger 40 gallon with 9 year warranty, and they returned to install it as scheduled for the agreed upon amount of $450. Took about 2 hours and they were very clean and prompt. Kudos!

We called on Friday afternoon and got an appointment for 9am Saturday. Joe was very prompt and helpful. Our problem was a complex one, with neighbor issues and questions about whether our blockage was in our pipe or the City's portion. He left to get more equipment and came back in about the time he had told us he would. Joe encouraged us to get more information, so we got our neighbor to come out and tell us what work had been done so far. It turned out that the City was going to repair the blockage, as it was in their portion. Joe listened and realized that there was nothing for him to do. He did not even charge us anything for his time and trouble! Ace will be the first place we call for any future plumbing or sewer problems. I feel like we can trust them after this experience.

I was expecting a more serious problem. Ace's team did a very thorough job troubleshooting and diagnosing and told me that the problem was much simpler than expected (related to a construction defect). The defect was thoroughly explained and remediated quickly.

Super fast response. I called at 1pm and they were at my house just after 3pm the same day. Very professional crew. Went the extra mile to look for parts to fix my drain. Offered to come back to complete the work when the roof was repaired.

Ace was so great! I called on LABOR DAY and the owner picked up, listened, gave advice and had somebody booked to come out the next morning at 9 am! He told me all about toilets and talked me through the different products while I looked at them online. On a holiday! The next day, Shawn came and set me at ease. He came back THREE times to my house to advise on installation while my remodel was in process, and he even called from the warehouse to describe the different fixtures before I had to make a decision! They were perfect.

They arrived within about 30 minutes of my call and had the drain unclogged in about 5 minutes. They were courteous and clean. I would definitely recommend and use again.

Came on time, (in the evening) to make estimate, came next day (with part) again in evening to do the work. Nice guys, straight forward and prompt. Would definitely use again.

Sean Patrick Alvrey came to my house and was very professional and punctual. He checked out the job and gave me a price before leaving that day. He came back the next day and began the work. I was very pleased. Sean is a very delightful person. There scope of the work turned out to be a little more involved than he had initially thought, but he barely raised the price from the original estimate even though the scope of the work increased. I have to say I was very happy.

The plumber was early and exceptionally personable, and the cost was lower than expected due to the speediness of the repair job. I would recommend them to everyone.

Serious drain back-up occurred on Sat, Ace responded within 2hrs, cleaned drains, left no mess, professional, reasonably priced, 90 day warranty. Would use again.

The young men were very personable, on time, and fast. They explained what needed to be done, estimated the cost and variables, and cleaned up when they were finished. I am very satisfied with the work and will definitely call this company again.

When I called to schedule, I was pleasantly surprised at how accommodating the dispatcher was. They gave me the exact time slot I was looking for and were on time to the appointment. Very thorough in explaining my problem and solution. I was not positive that it would solve my problem, but took a chance and sure enough it has. The gentleman that came out was very well informed about plumbing and made me feel comfortable having him inside my home.

These guys were able to get a technician out within an hour after I called, and were very polite, professional, and prompt. I have used them once before and was impressed then as well. I will be using them again and definitely would recommend to others. Have also heard good things about them from my neighbor.

Jonathon and Sean were extremely professional and demonstrated strong knowledge of the existing problem and other problems I've noted. I especially liked the idea of having two guys show up and bounce ideas/thoughts/experiences with each other and myself. I would definitely give these guys a call if you have a problem.

Sean came and was really nice and personable. He fixed the problem with the washer and dryer hookups and installed the hose to water the deck. He then started on the kitchen faucet and took it apart. He eventually said that I need a new kitchen faucet and said that he would only charge me when he came back (after I bought a new faucet). I bought a kitchen faucet, and he came back today to finish the job.

Warren was prompt, quick, and courteous. He knew exactly how to address the problem, had it done within minutes, and thoroughly cleaned up after himself. Very pleasant man, we'd be happy to call on him again.
