Bid was thorough, but quite high- I had the same service done by another firm for a third the estimate.

They removed the old and installed a new. The plumbing and work took a couple of hours and they seemingly did a great job. The guy I worked with was easy to communicate with. They were late in arrival, but were good about at least calling to advise.

I thought I needed an external drain cleared and called Ace. They said someone would be out to my house within an hour, and they were very punctual, arriving in about 40 minutes. They examined the drain and contrary to what I feared, said the drain was working fine. They also explained that what I observed within the drain was the trap functioning as designed, so that I understood what was going on. It's important to me to be an informed customer-I like to know the why behind the what.

They came right out and checked out the problem and went through the stool itself to get to the clog.We have had no problems since it was unplugged and we don't flush paper towels.

They were very prompt and came to give me an estimate in one day. Their representative(TJ)was extremely helpful and suggested a cheaper method of solving my problem. They came and broke up the cement, dug a trench, and installed a new drain in my backyard to catch rain runoff before it could enter my garage. They were very professional, cleaned up everything and gave me a 2 year warranty. This is the first time I've used Angie's List and have since recommended it to several friends. Ace Plumbing and Rooter is excellent, on time, affordable, and very professional.

They were pretty good! They were very fast. We ran into some issues that they fixed immediately, and they did good work.

Given the fact that the ceiling was already exposed, $125 for inspection and estimate seems steep. The total estimate for the work was also $2,000.00. Another plumber came out, did not charge for the estimate, and the same job was estimated for less than half the price.

Attempted to unclog a drain pipe. Price was $60 to do a simple snake, which was very reasonable. Unfortunately the snake couldn't get through. Plan B was to jet the drain with a special device that was in another truck ($295). Jetting the drain didn't work. Supervisor then used a balloon to try to force water down the drain, turned out the pipe had been abandoned and was going to nowhere. They were very professional about the whole thing, great response, very personable. The price for jetting was something that I agreed to, although in hindsight, it was a bit pricey, and they probably should have tried the balloon before jetting. I'm not upset with them in the slightest, and both the original plumber and the second senior guy who brought out the jet were very professional, I just think the price for jetting was a bit high. While waiting for the jet to show up, the plumber did additional debugging, checking the main drain line to make sure it was working, and checking (and cleaning) the grate under my driveway. Big kudos for that! They gave me a quote for jacking up some concrete and replacing the current cast iron pipe so I'd have a working drain. I have not yet obtained competitive quotes for the same work, but their quote seemed reasonable, definitely not a bargain, but not insane.

Ace told us they could come by within the hour and they did. They tested the drain with our hose, and I think that cleared out the blockage. Ace did not charge us. Great service, they definitely have won a new friend and customer.

This was the first time I had used their services. It went great. They came out the same day that I called. It took about an hour to fix the problem. I am very satisfied.

I called Ace Plumbing the evening prior to arrange an appointment. The plumber showed up in predetermined time slot as arranged. He assessed condition and snaked drains. He pulled sections of roof tile out of drain (we had a new roof installed several months prior; probably debris fell down air vent during demo). He was concerned that his snake didn't have enough length to insure all blockage was removed/passed. So he called the shop and had desired snake delivered promptly. 2 plumbers showed up with a larger snake and completed work required.

Ace was punctual and extremely professional throughout the process. I first discussed the project with Ace and several other contractors by phone before deciding to get an estimate from Ace. Ace's technician, Benny, showed up on time to do the initial estimate and was very clear about the work that would be involved. The job itself took a bit over two full days. Benny was extremely professional and hard working - when the work on the second day took a bit longer than expected, he and his assistant stayed well past nine o'clock so that we would have water that night. Ace also seems to have a knowledgeable staff of plumbers that can offer advice and support to their field technicians. The job was completed on time and was very well done. After installation, we have begun to have all sorts of problems with the tankless water heater. They came out and said they were on it but afterwards I haven?t heard anything from them in over a week. The manufacture said the installers might have installed the wrong tankless water heater.

The company (Joe) came out and provided an estimate for work to fix a toilet drain and possibly broken drain pipe. Joe crawled under the house to check the toilet flange and did a camera scan of the exterior drain pipe. He clearly stated the cost of the scan and the option to have the scan cost deducted from the bill for any work performed. He immediately provided an estimate for replacing a lead pipe to the toilet with cast iron as well as digging up and replacing a portion of a broken clay drain. I had to check on budget and Joe called back within a day to follow up. Work was scheduled and completed within one week. The work was professionally done, good customer service, excellent follow up. I would recommend Joe highly.

I lost water pressure and then hot water in my bathroom. The only bathroom I have. When the contractor came out to demo the old bathroom, a cold water intake pipe broke before the plumbers were there. Joe, came out in an emergency and capped it so it didn't flood under the house. They came out as promised and with in 3 days most of the work was done. Rich replaced all the pipe and does really beautiful work.

Overall, Ronnie was very friendly and professional, and did a great job keeping things clean and even removed his shoes before entering without me having to ask.

The plumber was thorough, efficient, courteous and thoughtful about the mess the job naturally made. They came within two hours of our original call on a Saturday and stayed five hours to complete the job when it became so complicated. Everyone we dealt with at this company (office personnel and plumber) had a professional and polite demeanor which made it an absolute pleasure to do business with them.

Great job. They gave an accurate quote and performed their assigned tasks very professionally, and in a timely manner.

I thought they were very good. They seemed to be very skillful in what they were doing. I would definitely recommend them to someone else, and I am going to use them again for some work in the future. They also seem very knowledgeable.

The service was excellent. They were able to figure it out pretty easily. They came right out. It was unbelievable the time that it took them to come out after my phone call. It cost less then I expected. I would recommend them to friends and family.
