Ace Plumbing & Rooter

It went great. These guys are pros. I had received multiple estimates. They weren't the most inexpensive (I worry sometimes about going with the cheap guys... you get what you pay for), but they were very competitive and fast. Nick is a really nice guy. They were very respectful. They took care not to damage anything and cleaned everything up when they were finished. I had previously been trying to get our home warranty to cover but they wouldn't. Long story but the dopes they sent out originally were confused about the type of water heating setup I have (it's a condo built in 2005.. it can't be that confusing) and wanted to charge $1000 more. ACE plumbing didn't miss a beat... tracked down a water heater and had it replaced in no time. I was pressed too as we were traveling on vacation within a few days.

We got off to a rocky start because of small space. But this company lead by a truly honest and trusty owner did what they said they would do. You can take what is promised by this company to the bank. What a refreshing experience

They sent a guy out and he was swift and professional. He was very proficient and customer focused. The price was good.

Updated - when we first had this problem, Jim came by and fixed it. Over the course of a few months, the problem reappeared. I called ACE back and before I knew it, Jim was back at our door. 10 minutes later, he had readjusted the set up and apologized that it didn't hold the first time. Great service. Highly recommended. Initially I had thought the price was high, but now that I've seen their willingness to fix the problem, and do it quickly and with a smile, I realize the extra few bucks was well worth it. ****** I called ACE in the morning and told them I wouldn't be available until 3pm. They scheduled us for the afternoon and Jim showed up 10 minutes early for the appointment. It was a relatively quick fix...he replaced some washers and checked all the other seals. All looks great, and Jim offered to come back if we noticed any leaks shortly. My slightly negative experience was around the price. They offered my the Angie's List discount, but it still seems like an expensive fix for 15 minutes of work. I've seen that they are competitively priced, so perhaps this is the going rate...but it just seemed a little costly for such a small effort. Regardless, I will call ACE again if other plumbing issues arise.

They were courteous and professional and gave me a good deal. They did leave things a little messy but did get the work done well.

There are too many stories to tell about all the stuff they have done for me, but it has always gone smoothly. Once there was an issue (I think they accidentally damaged something) but they totally stepped up, took accountability and made it right. This is what real customer service is all about. They are in it for the long haul.

according to plan. they jackhammered three holes in my drive wayto install new pipe. then they dug up my patio to connect to the main sewer. tyha done they patched the holes inthe driveway ,did a good job .they ,however did a lousey job 0n my patio, the broke several of the squares just left them there. i waited for them to fix the prblem.they didn't. i called them they came out and did minamal work to fix the problem. Also i might add that laborors did most of the work.when questioed the laborors told me the plumbers were on another job.I just wanted to get this over with

Very responsive and professional. The plumber who arrived was on time, very helpful, agreed to look at the place with another plumber who showed up early. The price was very high compared to what others bid but I was impressed by their professionalism.

This was a positive experience. They were on time and did the job professionally. They were great. I had to make them clean up afterwards. The price was reasonable.

Overall, Ace Plumbing (Monte specifically) provided excellent service. For me personally, I decided to engage Ace because in addition to their many positive reviews on Angie's List, they offer e-mail communication. I happen to have a condition that makes it difficult for me to speak clearly over the phone. So for me to spell out my situation in print rather then trying to make myself understood verbally was a welcomed relief.

He was friendly, polite and thorough. He took considerable time to review other past issues we had mentioned and investigate the potential causes, before ruling out the main sewer as the issue and avoiding unnecessary additional expense of scoping. We were pleased with the service provided and would use Ace again in the future.

It was fine, not seamless but just good enough.

They have given us a reasonable estimate (not the cheapest) and communicate well with Nick, team leader. He has been with the working crew from beginning to the end.

Called Monday and plumber was available for next day. Called early in day to ask if he could come 1 hour early. Arrived on time and finished all work in about 1 hour. Explained everything; cleaned up promptly; worked quickly. Everything -- including price -- was better than expected.

The crew showed up at 8:00AM to dig out and remove the concrete and dig the trench to get to the old sewer pipe and had it out in just a few hours. Before they left that first day, they installed the new sewer line so we were able to use our water and wash room by early evening. As far as i could tell, everything went smoothly for them. The crew was friendly and informative and courteous during the entire process. The concrete work was done with great care and professionalism as well.

Work was done promptly and completely, we're told including necessary permits and inspections, with good materials, at a good price. We're quite happy with the results!

My initial experience left something to be desired; however, the owner called me personally and came out to fix the issue I had originally. As I tell my employees; everyone makes mistakes so what defines a customer's experience is how we respond to those mistakes. Ace did a great job of responding and definitely changed my impression. The toilet installation went smooth and was quick as well. Thanks for a job well done!

They "Thought OUTSIDE OF THE BOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and solved the real problem!!!!!!!!!!!! They stayed on the job until the job was COMPLEATLY FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!!! They cleaned up really well!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They charged me a very (EXTREAMLY FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!) Price for a job very well done!!!!!!!!!!!!! I recomend ACE to everyone out there who have (Like us) had privious bad experiences with local plumbing companies. I do this beacause you ALL deserve to see what dealing with an EXCELLENT plumbing company can be like! I am happy, can you tell?

They guys where knowledgeable, clean, knew what they were doing and did a clean job. The plumbing connections were all professional looking and all. It was a good experience. I think their price was reasonable and they were good to respond.

I contacted ACE Plumbing and Rooter, never having had worked with them before. When my hot water heater of about 10 years sprung a leak, I contacted a plumber with whom I have a relationship, however he was unable to come to my house for another two days. I decided to check Angie's List, and was pleased to read about ACE. The attendant who took my call was professional, but offered regrets that he didn't have someone available until the following day. I had never dealt with a leaking water heater, so asked him if he (or a technician) could give me guidance until a plumber could come out. I was place on hold for literally 10 seconds when one of the plumbers got on the line, mentioned he wasn't working today, but was happy to come by to check things out. In 15 minutes, Joe swooped in, diagnosed the problem and gave me a very fair price for the work, especially considering he arrived on a Saturday in what seemed like a moments notice. He returned in an hour and a half (exactly when he said he would) with a new water heater and installed it. He was professional, lovely to interact with, and a lifesaver! I couldn't have had a better experience. You can't always believe everything you read, but you can believe the Angie's List reviews of ACE Plumbing and Rooter. Thank you again!
