glass repair
 + -1 moreI spoke to Tom. He was rather difficult on the phone. He may be hard of hearing. He promptly came to give an estimate ($355) and said he could do the job, but that we should consider replacing the windows in the house. It was freezing out (literally) and we just wanted the windows replaced ASAP. He had to order the arms, but once they arrived, he fixed it at our convenience. He didn't leave the windows in the best condition, but they did close when he was done. He seemed to have hacked off a bit of the wood to get the new arms to fit properly. Overall, he seemed like he did a decent job, but I imagine someone may have been able to do better. On the other hand, he did the job quickly and worked around our schedules. His estimate was also accurate, as he charged us that exactly.
Description of Work: Repaired two casement windows that were not closing properly due to excessive paint on the frame, warped casement, and rusted/painted arms. One of them also had a broken window pane.
