Jonathan is an unbeat professional who knows what he’s doing to support a replastering with the correct substructure. He responded to my initial call very quickly, came out to quote a day later and followed up doing the job within a few days thereafter. I’m addition to finding the correct substructure, the “artistic” aspect of the finish was done very well. I’m very pleased with the results and will use Vargas Plastering on another project at one of my rentals correcting my unartistic attempt at plastering.

It went very well. I had to make an unexpected schedule change and Mr. Vargas was accommodating. The repair was better than I expected. My home was built in 1936 so I do have plaster. I was aware that the materials would be different from the original so I was expecting a difference in texture. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Mr. Vargas had taken the time to match the textures between the old and the new.

They did an excellent job. The job got bigger after the original quote. Jonathan was cooperative and handled the job without any problems. They matched the original stucco perfectly and figured out how to blend the different wall levels I had for a seamless look.

They were honest and they said that the current person we had seemed to be doing a good job. Even though they didn't earn money off of us, they were patient helpful and polite. Next time they'll be my first call.

I had an electrical panel replacement done by another contractor where they had to remove a section of the exterior wall. Robert came out, quoted me and once agreed upon, he had the work done in 2 days. He did an excellent job with the stucco.

He remembered everything I told him from when he first came to give an estimate, he did everything he said he would do, and he kept me involved during the project so I would understand what was taking place. They also did a wonderful job of protecting areas like vertical pipes, plants, doorways, and other areas that needed to be shielded from the work. They also took away the wood and stucco debris, and hosed down the job site. They also did a careful final walk-through with me. This company cares! I am looking forward to working with them again if I need stucco work in the future. Call them - you'll be glad you did!

Robert was on time, friendly, very affordable, and very knowledgeable in regards to my issue. He blended the stucco texture perfectly and was done in less than an hour. I highly recommend!

I called Robert on a Friday and sent him photos of the damage. He quoted me a price and was able to come out the next day on Saturday. In just 2-2 1/2 hours he fixed the lath under the stucco and patched and textured the new patch to the existing stucco. He charged exactly what he quoted, cleaned up the work area and was very polite. I would recommend him to anyone looking for stucco work.

Robert was very accommodating in meeting my availability and showed up on time. He was professional, friendly and courteous. We walked throughout the property and pointed out the various areas needing repair. Robert provided us with feedback on the nature of the damage and helped educate us on what we should expect. What impressed me most about Robert is what happened after he left. He called me about half hour later and informed me that after thinking about it he wanted to recommend that we find someone else for the job for two reasons: 1) his specialty is custom, higher end jobs that are more challenging in nature, and 2) for that reason he would likely be too expensive for us. Instead, he suggested we look for someone that specializes in repair jobs, like exterior painters that also do stucco. I really appreciated him being honest and up front with us so that we wouldn't waste each other's time. We might not have the opportunity to use Robert in the future but I certainly am willing to recommend him.

My house was the eyesore of the street in Culver City. The front of the house had a brick facade 4 ft high that was crumbling in places, it needed to be removed. I called several contractors for quotes but only felt confident with Robert Vargas. He met me at my house and gave me a fair estimate. The next day, at 8n am, he showed up with his team - his son Jonathan plus 2 others. Most of the day was spent chipping away the brick and installing the waterproof foundation. The second day, they applied the stucco which matched the texture and level perfectly. A year later, I texted a pic and request for stucco on the upper front of my house where I had the original wood paneling. Again, the area matched perfectly in texture, will repaint it in a couple weeks. They covered my plants, trees and surrounding cement so when they were done, there was hardly a trace of debris. Robert and his son Jonathan are professional, personable and experts in their trade. If they are busy and booked up for a few weeks, they are worth the wait.

I've used them twice, each time his team was on time, worked quickly, and when they're gone there's hardly a trace of debris. His price is fair and there are no surprises, I always feel I got a fair deal and he doesn't try to upcharge. The stucco matches perfectly in texture and level to the existing stucco. I plan to repaint it but the color matches very closely to the existing paint color on the rest of the old stucco. Robert takes pride in his work, plaster/stucco is all he does so he has a ton of experience. It was a pleasure working with Robert and his son Jonathan - trustworthy, solid and honest. If he's booked up or says it will be a few weeks, get on his wait list, he's worth it!

He provided numerous color choices for our selection. This house was done in 1965. Therefore the only material company at that time was La Habra. We were able to pick the exact color. The projector was done in a very professional manner. He improved the old look with the new plastering style. His entire crew was professional. We would highly recommend Robert Vargas for any plastering or color coating. I would also like to mention his crew showed up on time. The job was completed on time (per contract).

Excellent work, easy to engage. Robert asked I text him pictures of the job. He gave me a price over the phone, showed up and did the work, left no trash. I was at work when he performed the work so he texted me pictures of the finished work for review before he left. Note the pictures show a color difference in the stucco only because I asked he do not paint the stucco, I plan to repaint the house but the price he quoted also included painting.
