Absolutely great, This company is exactly what one looks for when searching for a reliable affordable and capable service. Very professional. There was a delay on our part during the work being done due to an illness in the family, the tech,JR was totaling understanding. After the delay passed they picked up the job seamlessly. I will recommend this company highly, and hire them again for all electrical needs.

On May 27, 2020 I received an estimate from Affordable Electric (a father son business) for electrical work. Red (the father) gave me a quote of $775.00 which included $125.00 more for the permit. On May 28th we scheduled the job for June 9th. On June 9th JR (the son) did the work and when I asked him if he was staying until the inspector came out he told me it would be a couple of weeks for the inspection due to the paperwork being processed thru the mail. I was having an air conditioner put in at the same time, and like me the handy man was stunned that the work was done without a permit. If I had know, I would never have allowed the work to be done. On June 23rd I emailed Red to see where they were with the permit process and when he answered me on June 29th he said he was waiting for the city to open up. On July 1st I called the city to find out when they would be open to issue permits and was told that permits were being issued by appointment. I got the persons name and direct number and then I emailed this information to Red. I never heard back from Red. On July 21st I called Red and he claimed that he had not been able to schedule and appointment due to conflicts between schedules. On August 11th I called the city about getting the permit myself and then I spoke to JR about giving me the money which I had paid them so I could pick up the permit. Jr said he had to go to the office and check his records and he would get back to me. After speaking to Jr I emailed the information to Red and today is August 18th and I have not heard from either of these men. I believe I have been more that patient in trying to resolve this issue. I thought that I picked someone that was trustworthy to do this job, but I am very disappointed with this company. The work they did may be good, but I am not comfortable without a permit and inspection. I am afraid that I am going to have to pursue further action with this company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Red was his name. Nice gentleman. Handled himself fine. Very helpful. We like Red 👍🏽🇺🇸 Good man. Good Company. Will call again too.

Very well, Red did a great job. I asked for his card & told him we’d happily hire them again should we need electrical.

The electrician arrived a bit early, and was fast, clean, and efficient doing the installations. He cleaned up after himself, and showed me how to replace the light bulbs in the new light fixtures. The finished work looks great. This is a very old house and he really respected the spirit of the place (which hasn't always been the case with workmen here.) I am so happy with this job and I am definitely keeping their business card.

Red knew exactly where the problem was and fixed in a couple hours. He was on time and was very clean when the job finished. He is my go to spark-trician. I highly recommend him. Prices were very fair.

Excellent. Hello: Recently, Affordable electric came to my house to install a Manual Transfer Switch which needed to be wired to my 100 amp breaker box. I was very impressed how JR quickly engineered the location and placement of Manual Transfer Switch and how to plumb the wires from the inside of the garage to the outside 100 amp breaker box. Simply brilliant! Affordable electric did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them for electrical service reference.

First time I used Affordable was approx. 12 years ago also through Angie's List. for a similar issue. JR came and fixed the problem in minutes! Amazing and the price so reasonable. 2 days ago, similar situation in different part of the house. Red came right on appointment time, assessed the situation and fixed the problems immediately! I know just enough about electrical repair to get myself in trouble. I have used Red (Affordable Electric) before and was very pleased with not only the quality of his work, but also his timeliness, professionalism and pricing. After replacing the sensor, I asked him for suggestions on other electrical jobs I am considering -- for which I will call him to do, when I am ready.

I had an improperly installed ceiling fan in my vaulted ceiling, with wires just sticking out of the ceiling, and wanted a new one installed. The job took about an hour, was handled correctly, quickly, and with a very reasonable cost. I'm very pleased with the finished job.

Forty minutes after arrival the job was done...no fussing, no cussing just get to it and do it. Professional in every respect. "Red" is tops in my book and I'll be calling him again when I need electrical work.

It went great! JR responded to my email the same day that I requested a quote and he came out the next day. Excellent response time. I had one of those old kitchen fixtures that have the florescent tubes that kept flickering, even after I replaced new ones. JR new exactly what was wrong. He replaced the ballasts in each of the fixtures. He was done in less than 45 minutes. He was very professional, didn't leave a mess. I am a very satisfied customer!
