It was a Saturday when I called and left a message for them. They answered 15 minutes later and said that they don't have time until November. I have no experience with them but I will give them an A for their quick respond.

Unfortunately, they were unable to accept any new projects because they are booked until November. Was so impressed by their gallery of completed designs on their website and am sorry we are not able to wait to be able to work with them.

If you are in the market for a bathroom remodel, then LOOK NO FURTHER than Women In Construction! I too read all of the reviews, checked various websites, asked friends and family. The very best decision I made was hiring Denise and Molly to remodel our master bathroom. So many things stood out it is hard to capture it all. Starting with an appointment for the estimate. They were prompt in their arrival. The walk through was thorough, and detailed. By that afternoon an in depth written proposal was presented. Their proposal contained details of the work to be done, materials to be used, estimated costs of all materials and labor. Also included was a proposed scheduled start and completion date. I will say when Denise explained her process for rebuilding a shower, using old school craftsmanship; lathing and cement vice cement board, we were "All In." Our job started promptly at 7:30 Saturday morning 8 June. Women in Construction was at our home ready to work. Painstaking care and effort was taken to cover all flooring, carpet, including the bedroom, hallways, all paths leading in and out of the house. In just over 4 hours our bathroom was down to studs, sub-floor. All materials were removed without a scratch to any surrounding area. All of the debris was removed and the entire area was cleaned thoroughly. Again old school craftsmanship. Denise promised to deliver our bathroom back to us in 14 days start to finish. Over the next two weeks every day was like Christmas when my wife and I returned home in the evening to see the completed work done that day. I know a job is only as good as the preparation. Each and every step of the process was started and not checked off as complete until Denise was completely satisfied. From the initial pour of the pan ensuring the proper arrangement of the drain, and the slope of the cement, the the hot mop process to the plastering of the walls each step was completed with absolute precision. I cannot stress how neat and clean the work was done. Each and every day extreme care was made to ensure our home was a home and not a construction site. Everything was neat, cleaned and livable. As with any project there are challenges. Denise and Molly took personal care to ensure the challenges were minimal and most noteworthy, no challenge went unaddressed. Each hurdle no matter how minor was overcome to our full and complete satisfaction! Denise spelled out in detail any issues she encountered, most importantly she provided solutions. In many cases she provided not only solutions but options to be considered. Working with Women In Construction became less of a project and more of a partnership. When it came to setting the tile, all I can say is that Denise is not only a craftsman, she is an artist. With her trusted assistant Molly, (who knows what Denise requires before Denise does!) she set about to providing the artistry to the job. Every single tile was measured and re-measured for accuracy, every cut was precise, every tile was fit to perfection. Every tile was thoroughly inspected for size, color, match to surrounding tiles. Every tile was set to Denise's exacting standards. I will also note that Denise demands the same exacting standards from her sub contracted plumber, electrician, hop mop installer and her recommended glass installer. All four of whom I would hire individually. In the end our job was completed on time, on budget. When you hire Women In Construction your job is the only job and your job is job 1! You never compete for their time or talent with other projects. They are trustworthy. We left them alone daily to go about their work without question. Lastly we feel we did not hire a contractor. We made two friends! Denise allowed me the privilege of watching her artistry. Molly allowed my wife to cut the last tile before it was installed. Denise and Molly were guests in our home during their time with us and we shared lunch and dinner as we got to know them. My comments are more than a review; my comments are a "Thank You" for a job well done and a job most appreciated. You will not be disappointed if you hare Denise and Molly..Women In Construction... The artistry, the detail, and craftsmanship Denise puts into her work, Molly puts into her pies! Lemon meringue like you've never had before....Hire them and just maybe you will find out!

Wow!, That is hard to respond to. [member name removed] were two of the nicest people that we have ever had the pleasure to work with. I say work with because they never once made us feel like the workers. We were treated like family from the very begining. Freshcoffee. assorted nuts and fruit, energy drinks and whatever we could have wanted. They invited us to share meals with them several times during our project and were entertaining and caring as well. Remodeling can sometimes be stressful but it does'nt have to be. We have been very blessed to have people like the [member name removed]to contract with. It makes the work fun and makes us want to do more for them because they are so appreciative. On our last day there we even enjoyed sitting by the pool and sharing a few laughs. [member name removed] were very flexible when making suggestions and decisions which also helped with the smoothness of the overall job. We too feel that we made new friends and plan to have them over to dinner real soon. Thank you again for inviting us into your home and sharing your hearts and spirits with us. We were given excellent advice on what to do in our unique situation. I had thought that tiling was the answer to cover up some faults in our pebbled entryway, but after an inspection by Women in Construction, they concluded that it would be better to repair the surface. They also suggested another contact.
Description of Work: I intended to tile our entrance hallway until they spelled out the pitfalls that were unique to our situation. Their advice was informed and very welcome. In the end, we decided not to tile and are following up on their alternative suggestions.

We contacted Women in Construction to repair a large section of floor tile in our kitchen that was chipped, broken and basically in complete need of replacement. It was a very small job, but Women in Construction made it a point to work us into their schedule to come out and assess our floor, even calling us to tell us they would be 10 minutes late! Imagine that in the construction world. They were very honest with us and explained the entire floor was pulling and repairing one section would not solve the problem. We give them the highest recommendation for their follow through, professionalism and honest evaluation of our floor. At this point, we are likely going to replace the tile with wood flooring, but would certainly hire them if we were going to replace the existing floor.

I can't begin to put in to words how wonderful Denise & Molly are. It's very hard to have people in your home when you have control issues like me. Before the job even started Denise held my hand in helping pick my vanity, tile & granite I wasn't expecting this kind of service. They know the best places to go,with people they have dealt with for years. So when the job started I felt very comfortable with them in my home. Their work ethics are the best I have ever seen...and attention to detail and I do mean detail are superb. They never missed a day, we're here at the crack of dawn and worked until the project for that day was finished. They put tarps down & cleaned up every day. Denise has a great eye for everything, even things I would never think to look at. The quality of their work is outstanding and I would highly recommend thier services. Denise & Molly will be the only ones I ever contact for work again. It was a pleasure to have you in my home.Thank you soooo much for thinking of me on my Birthday, the flowers, card &( bran muffins...HAHA) were such a joy to wake up to. Your not just my contractors your my NEW FRIENDS. Thank you for my beautiful bathroom I smile everytime I look at it . Debbie

WE too feel like we have made a friend. Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. Not everybody does and we sure appreciate it when people take the extra time to do that for us. I also want to thank you for your kindness and your patience when I had to push your start date a little ahead because of some unforseen health issues. That was huge for me and very understanding of you. I believe that people come into our lives for a reason and some of them touch us forever. You are one of those people. I apologize if I missed getting back to you. Sometimes things happen in peoples lives beyond their control, as was the case in my life on the 19th of March when I had to have emergency surgery. I did not get out of the hospital until March 20th and have not really been feeling very well. I have had a few health challenges this year but have still kept working and always try to return all of the incoming calls that I receive. I can only say again, as I have in the past; if you would rate someone so critically that you have never even spoken to then I would probably not want to work for you anyway. Have a nice day. I hope you found someone to take care of all your needs. Sincerely, Denise Women In Construction

We thought it was really cheap. It was an excellent experience. They were on time. They were neat and affordable. They liked my coffee. They were very particular so everything was very precise. They focus on one job and get it done rather than many jobs at one time. They said it would be done in a week and it was done. We left town and it was wonderful. The first and second time they forgot. I wasn't going to give them another chance but she came with a flower and asked me to give them another chance. We would absolutely use them again.

Simply superb! Denise and her team were the utmost professionals. Dealing with a bathroom 3 flights of stairs up from their preparation area was a challenge. Dealing with some annoying neighbors was a challenge. Dealing with a poorly built bathroom, with a water damaged subfloor was a challenge. They dealt with it all wonderfully and made a wonderful new bathroom. Denise's tile work is just brilliant and she has such attention to detail and getting things right you just know you are in good hands. I cant imagine this renovation going any better and I recommend Women in Construction with absolute confidence and look forward to having them work with me again.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a response. With a man as busy as you are I really appreciate the time you took to appreciate us. Thank you for being such a nice easy going person to work for. That is always a blessing in my business. Things flow much easier when we can all put our heads together to make things work. Things are not always straight forward in remodeling. I really appreciate the piece of art that you gifted me with. It hangs in my hallway and I think of you and your wonderful bathroom when I pass by it. I am very glad I was able to be a part of your project. You were a joy to work with and a very nice guy. We didn't end up hiring Women in Construction but had a positive experience meeting them for the quote.
Description of Work: We contacted Women in Construction for a quote and they were booked 2weeks out just for a quote! We figured they must be worth the wait so we scheduled the quote and was happy to meet them. During the meeting, the women gave us a lot of great advice on ways to save money and where to spend. At the end, we decided not to go ahead with the project because the timing was not right for our family, but when we do decide to do go ahead with the renovation, we will certainly reach out to them again.

Women in Construction is a small company with an unbelievable work ethic that would put most to shame. Denise and Molly worked tirelessly and professionally to ensure the job not only remained on schedule but was completed with an incredible attention to detail and with minimal dirt and disruption to our lives. From the beginning, it was clear that with their willingness to share years of knowledge and expertise at every step of the process, this project would be carried out meticulously and with stunning results. But it was not all plain sailing. What on the face of it appeared to be a simple ?rip out the old and replace with the shiny new stuff? kind of project turned into more of a ?let?s see what obstacle we can throw at Denise today? kind of job. Whether it was last minute change in window size (my fault), uneven ceiling and walls, together with a really uneven floor, and an asymmetrical window frame (builder?s flaws), or mismatched tile size & quarter round color (tile manufacturer?s issues), or missing and then wrongly sized side-splash for the vanity top (fabricator error), Denise refused to buckle under pressure. Determined to achieve perfection, Denise and Molly worked with me to address and solve each and every issue. Bag after bag of leveling compound was used on the floor, while the walls and ceiling were skim coated over and over until Denise was satisfied. And what?s more incredible is that the materials were mixed in our garage and carried up two flights of stairs to the bedroom on days when the temperature hit 107 F. The walkway from the garage, into our home and up the stairs to the master bathroom were covered with tarps daily and the work areas vacuumed up at the end of each and every day. The women are a dream to work with. Together we also tracked down some matching quarter round and the perfect floor tiles, with Denise and Molly working into the night to remain on schedule. Working for a perfectionist is not an easy task but when you too strive always for perfection it can work well. Denise does not quit until the job is done right, even if it means coming back the next day and resetting individual one inch square tiles to fix that minor flaw that she just couldn?t/wouldn?t accept. And even as a perfectionist, I soon learned that if Denise was happy then I was happy! Women in Construction were always punctual, respectful and communicated their approach to technical issues while offering informative updates throughout the project. Moreover, the job was on time and at the low end of their initial estimate. To say we are happy with our remodeled bathroom would be an understatement. To say it was a pleasure to work with Denise and Molly would be an understatement. To say that the work ethic of Women in Construction is unrivaled would be an understatement. To say that the finished product is more than we could have ever imagined may just be an understatement. We say to Denise and Molly ?Thank you!

Oh my goodness, I think I am going to cry. Not only did you take the time out of your busy study schedule to write an amazing review for us but you also gave me a nice bonus that was above and beyond what customers do. You also offered me hot tea which a took as an honor coming from an English lady like yourself. Yes, things got a little crazy there at times but you were such a trooper, willing to jump in your car several times and help track down things that we needed to get in a hurry. You were great people to work for. Sometimes things change in the middle of projects but you were very helpful in puting your head together with ours to come up with the best solution. I hope that we will get a chance to work with you again. You are truly one of our most memorable customers. Thank you so much for all the kind things you said about us. It's people like you that make it all worth while. Denise & Molly (Women In Construction)

I am in the process of remodeling my kitchen and used Angie’s List to identify potential flooring contractors. While searching I narrowed the selection down and started discussing the task with prospective candidates. Initially, I had a problem contacting Women in Construction due to e-mail incompatibility problems; however, once the problem was recognized I received an immediate response. Denise McEwan and Molly Quillin arrived at my home on time the day of the job discussion. All questions were answered in clear, concise language and no room was left for confusion. Upon completion of the discussion, I was provided a time for quote receipt and a date that, if contracted, they would begin. The quote arrived when promised and although the cost was slightly higher than the competitors, I felt the professionalism and understanding of the task warranted the additional cost – little did I know how true that was! I received a call the weekend prior to the beginning of the job verifying everything was ready (I was removing the original kitchen cabinetry and base molding). Denise requested permission to stop by, obtain a key, and take the opportunity to discuss any last minute questions and clear up any potential misunderstandings (there were none). The following Monday our (I say “our” since we worked closely together) trial began. The first problem encountered was the tile layout. Tile was being installed on a diagonal at Denise’s insistenceJ. Initially, I wanted the tile to be the same as the adjoining rooms (dining room, great room, and entryway), but Denise argued (rightfully so) that an installation on the same plane as the remainder of the room would be impossible to match up (the tile wrapped around a double-sided fireplace that separated the breakfast nook and the great room). Since tile was already installed in the entry, dining room, and great room, she would be required to make odd cuts to coincide with the tile already installed, thus causing a mismatched installation in the breakfast nook and kitchen. I received a call the first day after removal of the original (poorly laid) marble tile. Once the tile and original backer were removed it was determined the floor was more even warped than anticipated. This required additional leveling compound to even out the floor. A couple of days into the installation tile was being placed, but when I got home that afternoon less than one-quarter of the floor was complete. After discussions I found that Denise had been unhappy with the manner in which the newly laid tile intersected with the original and had ripped out and re-laid the portion I was looking at three times! At this point, I realized I had chosen the correct people for the job since their desire for perfection matched mine. Two days later a second surprise reared its ugly head – since the tile was laid on a diagonal, additional tile was needed to complete the installation. If the fool ordering the tile (me) had purchased overage, this would not normally have been an issue, but that was not the case. I had been bringing tile from the garage and staging it for installation, as needed. When I came home that day and looked at the tile remaining and the amount of tile available, I realized there was an inadequate amount. I immediately called Denise and explained my concerns – Denise’s response was “What about the tile in the garage?” I explained I had already brought the remainder of the tile to the kitchen and her instantaneous response was “Can we come over now (6:00 PM)?” Tile in a location that would be under cabinetry was popped up and – to my amazement – not one single tile was broken (leveling compound was later installed to replace the original tile). The following day Denise laid the final (recovered) tile with much sweating there would not be enough. After the tile had set the next ordeal began – grouting the tile. I had shown Denise grout that was used in the original installation that her work abutted. Grouting started in the pantry and worked toward the intersection location. When the grout in the areas where the tile intersected dried it was realized the grout was the wrong color – the original contractor had labeled the bags of original grout incorrectly! When I came home, Molly and Denise were on their hands and knees cutting the grout from between the tiles. I promptly changed and grabbed a razor knife. The floor was finally grouted and sealed in the next couple of days. All of this flailing was accomplished without a word of protest or demand for additional payment from Women in Construction. Their demeanor remained professional and positive throughout the entire period. In addition, work progressed at an impressive rate considering all of the problems encountered. Best of all, the work was impeccable and we’ve already discussed additional work I’ll need in the future. I strongly recommend Women in Construction for your tile installation needs. Not only will you receive value for your investment, but you can also be assured of honest feedback, suggestions, and recommendations.n

Thank You, I must say that your project had us challenged. We knew that the floor was not going to be level because of the existing tile having a very big dip in the floor and I did charge more for the leveling cement as I stated in the contract but I did not know that it was going to be the beginning of such a bonding experience. You were so kind to bring all the tile up for us and although you did assure me that you had enough tile and had ordered it a while ago. I feel like I still should have counted it all to make sure. As it turned out, the tile was no longer available but fast acting on your part when you realized that there was more floor to set than the amount of tile you still had to bring up from the garage enabled me to act fast and pull some of the full tile under where the cabinets were going to be installed. As far as the grout color. We had to make a split second decision to dig out that grout when we realized it was not going to match but when you got home, without a word to say, you were on your hands and knees with us sweating and digging to make sure we got it all out.I felt like I learned something from you and you were very humble in accepting all responsibility for the mishaps even though I feel that I should have still double checked you. We very much enjoyed working with you and I really loved working on your property because it was so beautiful and quiet. I hope everything went well with your cabinet installation and I would love to see it when you are finished. If you would like us to do the backsplash then we would be thrilled to work with you again. You are a man of integrity and you have a calmness about you that I wish I could master, Thank you again ( Women In Construction)

They came out on Aug. 4th and did an estimate as far as the flooring. They gave me a name of another contractor to do the work because they were not able to do the work. They came all the way from Chula Vista from Oceanside to do the estimate. They were very professional. I am looking for reasons to employee them in the future because they were so professional. They gave me very good advice. They made sure to call me to let me know they would be a bit late.
Description of Work: I contacted them for an estimate for my floor.

Women In Construction did a fabulous job on our bathroom. They were on time to quote the job. While they were not the least expensive. They detailed the work to be provided, were very professional and very knowledgeable on the work to be done for the project. They offered suggestions on tile selection as well as grout, were responsive with any questions and meticulous in the details to insure the job would be done correctly. The work was started on time and performed within the time frame that they stated. They took great care to limit the obstruction & intrusions into our daily lives. Denise & Molly did what they said they were going to do and asked questions when needed. They had to square our shower since no walls in were built properly with right angles buy now at least our shower is square. Due to the size of our backyard, they had to mix materials in our garage and carry them into our home. All walkways from the detached garage, up the stairs to the master bathroom were covered daily and cleaned up at the end of the day which was great. They went above and beyond to insure that we were satisfied with the project and that the tile and other bathroom fixtures were installed properly. I would highly recommend their services for bathroom remodels and home renovations. We are very satisfied with the work completed by Women In Construction and would recommend for additional work on our homes or for others.
Description of Work: Replace/install the tile in our shower and master bathroom floor. Install new toilet and shower fixtures.

Thank you for taking the time to write a report. We really do appreciate your business. You made it easier for us to work by allowing us the use of your garage for the duration of your bathroom remodel. We thank you for your appreciation for how hard we worked and for taking notice of our efforts to keep your surroundings clean. Thank's again for the Rock Stars and I hope you received the grout brush. Thank you both. Denise and Molly

When I contacted Women In Construction I really didn?t know exactly what I wanted, but I was certain I was not happy with the tile flooring or bathroom fixtures in my house. After accepting the contract from Women In Construction I went to work picking out the tiles, countertops, bathtubs, etc. to be installed by Denise and Molly. Denise and Molly were both very helpful while I was selecting tiles and trying to coordinate colors. Once the work actually began, Denise and Molly exuded a professional demeanor and worked to maintain a great relationship with my household. I honestly can?t say enough about the work ethic of these two individuals. They put in some hours to keep on schedule, and some days they just looked spent when they left, but not once did they leave without meeting their day?s objective. They were punctual, respectful and communicated well. At the end of each work day they cleaned up the debris from their work and did their best to minimize the impact of their work on my household. The overall quality of their work is phenomenal. Denise?s attentiveness to detail and insistence on perfection is evident in the final product. I honestly couldn?t have imagined a higher quality product than I received from Women In Construction. Both of these individuals take pride in their work and it shows. I would gladly hire them again

I would first of all like to comment on this homeowners service to our country. The first thing I noticed when I started his job were the plaques I had to remove from his hallway wall so that we did not knock them off during demolition of his bathroom on the adjacent wall. He is quite the decorated officer. The people he served with found him to be quite a moral builder. After spending 3 weeks in his house and getting to know him and his wife better. They were both a joy to work for and very hospitable. James is the kind of guy I would want covering my back if I was in the military. He and his wife both have a fantastic sense of humor and although they do live in Oceanside and it was during the fair, they actually made it more than worth the time every day to get to work and back home. We were pleased to work in their home and they made it fun. It's because of people like them that make our job a pleasure to do. Thank you so much for your service to our country and for making us feel at home while we were working for you. Denise and Molly (Women In Construction)

We had wanted them to do the work. Period. I am pretty sure they were aware of that since we told them we would wait till October for them. I think the distance was a huge factor for them. We are in Oceanside and they are in San Diego. It is understandable but if a job is too far then just say so from the beginning. Don't lead a customer on. We have wasted over a month so far and it was all for nothing. I would definitely not hire this company ever again.
Description of Work: I had selected this company because of one phrase written in a review. That phrase was " attention to detail". I wanted this company to do the retiling in our master shower. Also to recaulk the sinks. I called and left a message and I received a call back within a timely manner. Once we had talked I understood they were not available until October. That was fine because we were willing to wait for them. We then talked about setting up a meeting for them to come out to look at the work to be done. We talked about our schedules and explained to them that one of us got off work at 5:30pm and the other could be home by 6:30pm. We scheduled a day and time for them to come out that was about 3 weeks later. As the date grew closer we got a couple of calls from them hoping to work something out so they could look at the bathroom sooner because they were working in the area. On the second call I had said 7pm would be a good time and the replay I received was "you said you would be home at 5:30." this is where the professionalism took a turn for the worse. It is my belief that if a customer gives you a time you try to work with it. Not come back with an accusatory tone. They were told one of us gets off work at 5:30pm, not we would be at home at 5:30pm. In any case, the original appointment time did not change. The very next day I received a call by this company and they were letting me know they had a confirmed job which pushed their availability back to November. I just said fine, we'll find someone else to do the job and hung up.

I'm sorry that our time schedule did not work for you, I was only trying to be honest and let you know that my availability was further out. As people accept the proposals I give them my availablity changes, and I try to give scheduled estimates a courtesy call in case they decide that their project can't wait that long. I'm sorry if you thought I was accusing you of anything, that was certainly not my intention. In fact, I followed up with an e-mail after we spoke (and after YOU cancelled our estimate) and you said you would find someone else. In your e-mail you shared with me that someone close to you was dealing with some health issues and I think your priorities have shifted. I do hope that your friend's health gets better. I was under the impression that you had to have your project done and that waiting even until October when we first spoke was going to be a stretch for you. Anyway, I hope things get better for you. Sincerely, Denise ( Women In COnstruction)

Denise help me out when I was in a bind, I had started a tub surround tile job and was in over my head. Denise was working on a remodel at the house next door when I asked if she could look at my project and if she could help. With in a few days Deinse had worked my job in to her schedule and completed my tub surround. She was able to correct the work I had done and did a beautiful job on the tile installation. Since then Women in Construction have been back to do a complete shower remodel and floor in another bath in the house. I would recommend Women in Construction for any tile work you may have, but only if you want the best. Denise is experienced and has a great eye for detail. Women in Construction will be the first contractor I call for any type of tile installation I have in the future.
Description of Work: Completed a tile tub surround in one bath room. Did a complete shower and bathroom floor remodel in another, approximately a year later.

I contacted them two weeks ago for a job. I received 2 follow up calls the first day, which I missed, but they left messages. I called back the next day, and never have heard back again. They seem very unprofessional.

I did call you back and you are correct, I do not have a secretary. When customers call they are contacting my private home. I do not own a storefront office or have a large support staff. I leave my house every day at 6:00 A.M. and spend an average of ten hours a day in the field; after which time I return the phone calls recieved for that day. We are a small company, and take pride in our work and our customer service. I'm sorry if the two times I called you back were not sufficient to connect with you. If I call someone back and get no response then I don't chase after them. I actually just threw away your paperwork I had started on you because I had not heard from you since I first responded to your message. Once I make the inital return phone call I rely on customers to get back to me if they have any futher interest in my services. I hope you found someone to take care of you. Have a nice day. we were so sorry that we could not help this customer. It looked as though she was at the mercy of trusting people to work on her property while she is residing in another state. We felt that the people doing her work were not doing her justice and unfortuneately we can not risk getting in the middle of work previously done by someone else and then try to fix it and guarantee what they have done as a part of our work. Member, you seem like a very nice lady and if we can advise you in any other way, please do not hesitate to call us. We appreciate more than you know that you took the time to write a report after we told you that we could not finish the job already started by someone else. Thank You Women In Construction

As a landlord for 20 years and a home owner, I have employed numerous contractors and completed many home projects. I have retained contractors for our rental property and home to design and install outdoor landscape, flooring, window covering, decks, and hardscape and have utilized plumbers, electricians and other technicians to complete repairs and maintain our property. Although the majority of contractors completed the various projects in a satisfactory manner, the dividing factor between average and exceptional was their work ethic and pride in their trade. Denise & Molly of Women In Construction displayed such a work ethic and more in remodeling the master bathroom in our rental property. Women In Construction consulted on not only how to approach the project technically, but also shared their vast knowledge and expertise in creating an aesthetic piece of work. Denise and Molly were involved in the construction process from the beginning. They met us at the various design centers to assist in selecting the flooring, tile, plumbing fixtures, bathtub and vanity cabinets. They provided a schedule for the duration of the project and finished on time. Their communication skills were outstanding as they provided regular and informative updates. When unanticipated issues arose they took the initiative to provide a solution and at every point were extremely accommodating. Their attention to detail and pride in their work was a reflection of their professionalism. They were also sensitive to the needs of our tenants, cleaned the work area at the end of every day and respected their privacy. Women In Construction's primary concern was to deliver a quality finished product and to that end they succeeded admirably. I was extremely satisfied with Denise an Molly's work and the finished look of the bathroom, as were our tenants. I would use them for future remodeling projects and recommend them highly to everyone else. Bob & Marianne

You folks are a perfect example of why we love what we do. The gratification that we get from completing a job and having you appreciate it us as much as you do is priceless. Thank you so much for puting you're trust in us and allowing us to work on you're beautiful home. It is nice to see landlords that care about making their property so nice not only for themselves but for their tenants. That say's something about the kind of people you are and we were honored to work for you. If we can ever do anything for you in the future then please do not hesitate to ask. We were also very pleased to work with you're tenants who were also very nice and accommodating. Denise and Molly (Women In Construction)

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS MY WIFE"S ADDITION TO OUR INITIAL REVIEW WHICH I HAD GIVEN VERY BRIEFLY BY PHONE WITH AN ANGIE'S LIST EMPLOYEE - WE TRIED TO EDIT THE FIRST REVIEW BUT COULDN'T SO IN ORDER TO DO JUSTICE TO WIC WE ARE WRITING THIS ADDENDUM: From start to finish Women In Construction were wonderful! I had the pleasure of being at home during the entire process; and normally I wouldn't say a construction project was a pleasure, but this one truly was. The artistry and precision with which the Women scuplted a new bathroom for me was absolutely amazing. From the removal of an awful 70's fiberglass shower enclosure to the final product - a beautiful porcelain tile and glass enclosure - it really was an artistic achievement and a pleasure to behold. The ladies have a work ethic that is above and beyond anything I have seen in years. The attention to detail was incredible. And all the while a smile, a joke, and none of that "stuffy" crap. I think so highly of them that as they were doing the entry hall floor I asked them to sign their names on the concrete prior to laying the tile so I can think of them as I walk in to or leave my home. I know that may sound silly but these are really decent, kind, and honest people. And for me, maybe the biggest plus, was that they were extremely conscientious and respectful towards my animals. I would and have referred them to others for other projects and have already scheduled them to come back out to tile the master bedroom. There really aren't enough nice things to say about Women In Construction. But I can tell you that I am thrilled every day I use my new bathroom!
Description of Work: - WIC provided comprehensive bid for all work requested in a remarkably short time frame - WIC removed tile in entry hall, shower enclosure (including removal from job site), and prepped all surfaces (floors, walls, ceilings) - WIC provided assistance in selecting best products for our application and budget with suppliers who were very reasonably priced and very professional - WIC installed tile flooring in entry way, small hallway, and master bath - WIC installed a tile shower enclosure including glass sliding shower doors - WIC installed a new toilet, vanity & faucet, medicine cabinet, shower head & valve, and new plumbing supply lines and drains - WIC provided extensive drywall repair in the master bath - WIC worked very cleanly and kept us thoroughly informed thoughout the entire project

Wow, We were honored to work for such nice caring people. They broke the mold with you two. We really appreciate your kindness towards us and the hot coffee every day and the endless food. Baron really went above and beyond apprecaition when he helped us out with some laptops and took a trip to our home to help us with our personal computer. We have had many generous customers in the past who have been very giving and these two were among the top. I actually had to tell them to stop giving us food because I could'nt work it off at the gym fast enough. We are looking forward to working in their home again to tile their master bedroom. Thank you so much, it is people like you that appreciate what we do they make us happy to do it. Denise and Molly
