This was a huge job as far as I'm concerned. After many years of issues with drains backing up this company diagnosed the problem, offered solutions and got the job done. There were several days where I didn't have use of all the sinks, showers and toilets, but the crew: Ricardo and Danny; always made sure that I had some access available to me before leaving for the day. They kept me updated daily with issues as they arose and made sure I knew all the options and was comfortable with our joint decisions. Saying these two guys worked hard is an understatement. We had a hot spell here in San Diego County and they were crawling under the house and digging out pipe and working steady the whole time. Besides leaving me with all of the plumbing fully functioning for the first time in years they also made sure that follow up work was done professionally such as the drywall installation. I asked a lot of questions and was clearly in the way periodically but they answered all my questions and didn't make me feel uncomfortable in my own home while they were working.
Description of Work: Replaced lateral to street; lined main line under driveway to house; replaced all corroded original pipes with ABS pipes.

I wouldn't use Walter Anderson Plumbing again. Instead of digging the concrete up, with my husband's permission went through the attic and re-piped but they had discussed a particular size of pipe that they didn't put in. My husband was not well so it took time for him to look at it and he was absolutely disappointed because they had used a smaller pipe than he had agreed to. We have a really horrible water pressure because of that. As far as I know everything was done punctually.
Description of Work: I had a water pipe that broke within the concrete.

I liked them a lot. They are expensive but they make their customers happy. They were great. I probably use only them. The way they train their people is good.
Description of Work: I used them to redo the heating system in my house. They installed a water filter. They flushed the water heater and the toilets in the house.

They were very good about getting someone out quickly and they were responsive to our needs. They helped us trouble shoot and they were persistent trying to find the best solution to the problem. I didn't do a lot of price comparison, but I thought it was very reasonable.
Description of Work: I used Walter Anderson Plumbing a year ago to install a new water heater. We had water heaters that came with the house and they started out trying to repair them. They were the ones that recycle the water, but they are more problematic. We had them install a more traditional water heater.
