Excellent. I had several companies give me estimates. Ernie from Truline made me feel the most comfortable. I was a little nervous because I wanted to completely change the color of my home. Patty came out with several samples and helped me narrow down the color. I am very happy with the color, the workmanship, and the whole experience. I will hire them when I am ready for interior painting.

All I have to say is WOW!!! Sergio came out and gave me a great estimate on the new house my wife and I purchased. During the time reviewing the house Sergio noticed a couple of little things (like holes in the ceilings from the previous owner, tape residue from the old speaker wires, etc.) and he fixed these up. I needed to get the house painted before the movers came so we committed to TruLine. Being in the construction industry I know the importance of being on time and meeting your commitments along with a quality job. Needless to say, Sergio and his entire crew were there on time and completed the project on time as well - and that's with me adding paint to the garage (along with epoxy paint on the garage floor!!). His crew did a WAY better job than we expected and WAY better than I could have done. We have got a ton of compliments from our friends and family about how good the paint turned out. If you want a good quality paint job for your house you definitely need to give Sergio a call. We will definitely being giving them a call back when we paint the exterior of the house!!!

Sergio did my initial consultation and was very receptive to my interior designer's plan for the color schemes which included 2 colors per room and a ton of different colors throughout the house. His crew of 3 guys headed up by Tony did a great job. There was a small area which I wanted done and it wasn't when I arrived for the walk through at the end and the guys stayed an additional hour to get the job done which was great. They cleaned up very well and I had no issues with them. I would definitely hire them again.

From the first meeting with Ernie to get the estimate through the completion of the job and submission of the final payment, everybody at TruLine was professional and responsive to my needs and I am completely satisfied. I originally asked for an estimate on painting the exterior of my small house and some interior trim. I explained that I was getting the house ready for the market so I wanted to schedule the work as soon as possible. Ernie gave me a detailed proposal of what the work would include and quoted a good price. They were able to start work the day after I accepted the bid and signed the contract. They showed up on time and completed the work on time even though they uncovered some nasty wood rot in some exterior trim. They put me in touch with a carpenter who was able to come right out and give me an estimate on repairing the damaged trim and that company, Mendoza's Carpentry, got the repair work done the next morning so that the TruLine painters were able to complete all the work (prepping, power washing, and interior and exterior paint) in two days. The job supervisor, Sergio, was there both days and spoke to me about the progress of the job and made sure that the quality of the work was good. I ended up asking him for a quote to refinish some kitchen cabinets and we were able to add on that work and got it done the morning of the next business day for a good price. The entire experience was very positive and I would recommend TruLine to anyone.

TruLine Painting was fantastic to work with! They came recommended from my fiances co-worker who told us about their great prices and professionalism. I contacted them and Ernie came out for a free quote. The estimate was almost half of what other people had told me it would cost to paint my house. After agreeing to services, TruLine has a paint consultant who came to my house to help me choose the right paint color for me. I like a lot of warm bright colors and I really appreciated the consultant not directing me to colors that she preferred but rather assisting me to find the colors that were right for me. After selecting my colors, I finally closed on my house and the crew got started the next day. I dropped by during the day (unannounced) to check out the progress and the crew that was working was very accommodating to give me the walk-through of the progress made thus far. I was impressed with the prep work that was clearly time consuming however essential to doing a great job. I have a lot of wood interior, built-ins and wood beams on the ceiling that the men had to work around but they did a fantastic job. When they were finished the next day, I met Sergio and the crew at the house to go over everything and ensure that I was pleased with the work. I noticed at that time that there was some hardware from hanging curtains that was left on the wall and painted around (the men rightfully assumed that I would be keeping the curtains, however i was not planning to do so). Without any hesitation, Sergio let me know that he would have the men remove the hardware, patch up the holes and paint over it. I am extremely pleased with the quality of service and professionalism demonstrated by TruLine Painting and would recommend them to anyone looking to paint their home at a great price.

The service turned out fine. It was easy to get an appointment for them to come out. They arrived on time. They were professional and courteous. There was no extra cost.

Sergio and team were exemplary. Sergio went the extra mile and was particularly helpful (and patient I might add) in assisting me with making color selections. He was very flexible to make sure certain phases of the work were complete on time. This was particularly important since much of the work happened amongst the November time frame when San Diego had its big rain storms. Carlos and fellow painters were on-time and meticulous in their daily cleanup. I am very pleased and I plan on using them in the future as my whole home renovation progresses.

Stephanie was very responsive and professional in scheduling the job. Sergio came out to look at the area that needed painting (and also recommended an accent wall in our familyroom. The color was from the top of his head and was spot on. We painted that at the same time as the small bedroom and bathroom.) The actual painting was done a day or so later and was completed in 1 day. The painter (Francesco, I believe his name was) was polite, worked efficiently and cleaned the area before he left. We are very pleased with the finished product.

We were doing a kitchen renovation and needed to get our kitchen painted in the middle of the project. I reached out to TruLine and Sergio provided me with a timely, competitive and professional quote for the kitchen and our entire first floor. We decided to take on the larger project based on the quote and my initial interaction with Sergio and Stephanie. We were also working to a pressing timeline so Sergio was able to quickly organize a crew to support our needs. The project was done on time with quality in a very professional manner. The crew was very thorough, made sure everything was clean and that we were fully satisfied with the project before leaving the site. Based on the kitchen renovation, a small section of the kitchen was missed due to a wall covering and I contacted Sergio to ask for his team to touch up the missing spot. Sergio was happy to support the request and sent over the original crew within a couple of days to complete the project. My experience with TruLine Painting was extremely positive and I would highly recommend their services.

I hired Truline because my homeowners association was going to fine me for peeling paint on the exterior shutters of my house. The person that came from TruLine to bid the job was so personable and asked questions to understand what I needed. I felt so confident in him, I had him bid my interior stair project as well. I ended up doing both and I was so impressed with their attention to detail that in the middle of the job I asked if they painted furniture. When they finished the other project they set up a spray room in my garage and meticulously resprayed some bedroom furniture. It looks fantastic. My stairs went from a light maple to a deep brown stain. They are gorgeous and the exterior paint job makes my house feel brand new with minimal dollars spent. I will definitely use this company again.

They were prompt with their estimate, responsive to my phone calls and did a great job in a timely manner. They even painted an extra area for no charge. I would definitely use them again and would certainly recommend them to my friends and family. Overall it was a very good experience with TruLine Painting.

Sergio and his crew are awesome. They are very professional, and if there is any little detail you are concerned about, Sergio will make sure it's done. I would definitely work with them again, no question. We had Truline first paint our living room and a AV cabinet, then the kitchen and all entryway and hallway. super job. later we decided to paint our dining room and 2nd living room which needed patching and repair to the texturing, lots of filling of holes, and covering up prior owner mistakes. they did a great job with this, provided color design help free of charge and are very good at what they do. Sergio is a great supervisor and he generally checks in every day or every other day to ensure the work is being done to customer satisfaction.

We had previously had our banister painted with an oil based paint and they told me they could paint over it with a water based paint if they sanded the area first. There is now peeling on our banister. I called them once to request a return call, which I didn't hear from anyone. They left masking tape behind where some paint was on my baseboards. They were very pleasant and easy to work with, but the work didn't meet my standards.

In the process of preparing and painting the ceiling, some of the plaster began to crumble down (due to the plaster not being installed correctly years ago by another company). TruLine did the best they could to repair the ceiling to blend it in with the rest of the plaster texture--coming out twice, free of charge--to get it right. The did an impeccable job at painting the ceiling and walls. Not one drop of paint spilled anywhere, and they did a great job of cleaning up afterward. Also, they did a phenomenal job at patching a huge hole in the wall where a doorknob once went through (where no door-stop had been installed by the home sellers); I can't even tell where the huge hole once was. They caulked/sealed the baseboards and went an extra mile to paint doors in the house that were marred by scratches and stains. All this for the Angie's List sale/promotional price of $200.00. Sergio and his worker Francsico were extremely nice, genuine, caring, and honestly want to do their best for their customers. Sergio is highly knowledgeable about brands, types, and finishes of paints. TruLine goes the extra mile; I would highly recommend them.

This company, Truline Paint, is a fantastic, first-class operation from start to finish. I highly recommend everyone to use this organization for any of their painting needs. The owner, Sergio, listened to our needs and suggested recommendations that were spot on. Julio, the painter, was courteous, professional, on time, fast, clean, and worked very hard to get what we needed done and even went beyond our expectations to finish a third room which was not on our list. Top notch organization. Hands down the best I've dealt with!

We are painting our new house before we move in, but we needed the pros to help with the cutting in where the walls meet the ceiling. We found Truline's coupon on Angie's List ($199 for 8 man hours of interior painting) and emailed to check on availability of appointments (we needed the job to be done before we move in next week). Stephannie at Truline was very responsive and we quickly found an appt. date/time that worked for us. I bought the coupon and the painters were scheduled soon after (2 painters for 4 hours). Sergio called me the day before the appt. to confirm the time that the painters would be at the house, and to confirm that the paint would be available to them when they arrived (the coupon's terms stated that we needed to provide the paint). Tony and Robert showed up right on time (5 minutes early, in fact!) and, after touring the house and getting instructions from me, got straight to work. My husband and I had painted 5 rooms (except the tops of the walls), so I asked them to cut in for those 5 rooms, 2 coats of paint. I had to go back to work while they were at the house, so Tony and I exchanged cell #'s in case they had questions. Sergio called me about 2 hours later, saying that he was at the house and he thought that Tony and Robert would finish before my 4 hours was up! I instructed him to tell the guys to continue around the tops of the unpainted walls that my husband and I were unable to paint up to that point. When the 4 hours were up, I went back to the house to inspect the job and lock up the house. The guys worked for the full 4 hours (up to the last minute). All of their work was excellent! Nice, straight lines along the ceilings, 2 coats of paint in each room (3 coats in my daughter's room! She had a lighter paint color and the guys thought that 2 coats wasn't enough). They finished cutting in on all of the walls in the house except for the upstairs hallway, the kitchen (which I asked them not to paint), and the stairway. This will make it easier for us to finish the job in the rooms that my husband and I still needed to paint! Tony even pointed out a spot of dried paint that my husband accidentally dropped on the carpet, then he went out to his truck to get a carpet cleaning solution and scrubbed off the dried paint! All in all, an excellent experience with this company! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs painting services.

From first contact to completion TruLine Painting did an outstanding job. Don't hesitate to book this company for your next project. I now have an entry door and 3 spray-painted security doors that look new. Francisco, the painter, was meticulous in his prep work, his painting and his clean-up. He worked efficiently and quietly. Not a minute was wasted and not a stray speck of paint was left behind anywhere. When I ordered the service, Sergio, the in-charge person, returned my call promptly, came by to assess the job and scheduled the work. On the day the painting was being done, Sergio stopped in and also called to be sure everything was moving along as planned. Hiring TruLine Painting was a 100% positive experience for me.

If I could give Francisco A++++, I would. He did every thing I asked and more. He worked very fast and very good. He really gave me more than my moneys worth. I've already told friends how pleased I was with the painting. Thank you so much

TruLine Painting, Inc. provided an estimate for the work shortly after my initial contact. Sergio arrived cheerful and on time. I told him that I needed the work done in a certain time frame to fit in with other scheduled redecorating. He agreed and clearly explained how TruLine would proceed and even offered to assist with moving a few pieces of furniture if needed. The work involved two different colors of paint in each of two rooms. The painter, Francisco, came at the scheduled time with all the necessary supplies and was ready to work. He carefully protected the carpet and furniture, prepaired the surfaces and proceeded with the painting. He followed the four-color scheme, carefully cutting-in the different colors in the fashon of a true profesional. The paint was applied evenly and sharply at window sills and corners. It was a one-day, two room job and it was amazing that so much work was completed so quickly and expertly at the same time. At the end of the job Francisco checked with us for any areas of cercern. He quickly corrected a couple of small spots that were not obvious to be painted inside a built in closet. When we went back for the final inspection we found that the rooms were fully cleaned-up with all surfaces perfect and the carpet was even vaccumed! We have confidence in Tru-Line's work, their work ethics and performance. I will definately call on them in the future.

I had Trueline out to give me an estimate on another job prior to buying this deal and was very disappointed with the bid and estimator, so I posted an unfavorable review. I hired two other companies to do that job. I bought a deal one painter for a day, thinking it would be a good way to try them out given their high AL ratings. The company was very responsive; Stephanie was great at working with me to set up an apt.! After I purchased and set up an apt I realized that because I have 12' ceilings I would not be able to use the deal as I had planned, my fault not theirs, so I contacted Stephanie and she said no problem! I am going to request a refund only because I'm not sure based on my circumstance that I would be able to use the deal by March, however based on my positive experience with Stephanie I will give it a try Truline again somewhere down the line.

Wonderfully well! From the color consultant to the final inspection it all went very well. I was happily surprised that the colors I'd picked turned out to be even better on the house than I'd expected. They were on time w/everything - did everything possible to keep me feeling "non invaded" (which was an added surprise) and even came up w/things I'd not thought of as they progressed. They did such a wonderful job here that I hired them to paint my Industrial Park and the same as here - they were as easy as could be w/the tenants and the place looks brand new! I'd hire them again in a heart beat if I had any other property that needed to be refreshed. My neighbors here have said that they never knew my old Spanish style house could look as good as it does now!

The first thing I noticed with this company was when Ernie drove up in his custom painted Truline vehicle and he had the logo on his polo shirt. Other companies that we met did not show that type of professionalism. The Truline Painting crew was extremely professional, punctual and friendly. They cleaned up each night and made the whole painting process non-intrusive to our family during the week-long process. We required some touch ups and they came out on a Saturday and professionally and courteously finished the job. We feel like we have a new home now and are proud to have visitors again!!! Greay job!!!

TruLine Painting performs high quality work with reasonable price. Ernie is professional in providing estimate, suggestions and scheduling coordination. Carlos and his crew works very carefully in masking, covering and preparing so there is no paint splatter on existing floor and furniture. They are also very courteous and polite. The painting job is high quality. Ernie performs inspection at end of work and pointed out minor issues even I did not notice. Overall, this is a very positive experience and I would definitely use them again for future paint work.

Everyone at TruLine from Ernie the estimator to Patty the colorist (thanks Patty!) to Francisco and his crew were excellent! Even the owner Sergio stopped by personally to ensure we were satisfied with the work being done and made some great suggestions we are delighted we followed. Considering how much of our house was being painted, we were still able to function at night because they did a great job cleaning up and made it easy for us to get around. We were extremely satisfied with their level of customer service and desire to get it right... and would recommend them to any of our friends... In fact we already have!!
