The owner of TruLine, Sergio Ibarra is a man of integrity, friendly and straight-forward and gave us some excellent suggestions to improve our project that we hadn't even thought of, which of course we implemented. He also has a very good eye for color schemes. His work crew were extremely friendly, showed up on time each day, worked hard, and did an excellent job on removing acoustic ceilings, texturing ceilings, walls, and painting throughout the interior of our home. They were also so good about cleaning up before they left each day and completed the project with as little inconvenience to us as possible. Our home improvement project was completed in a timely manner and the work his crew accomplished for us far exceeded our expectations. + 3 moreWOW! What a difference a good contractor can make. First off my home is very OLD. It had been several years since I had any work done to the outside. I received 3 estimates from contractors for the work which included repairing stucco and fascia boards and eaves, replacing a large wooden gate/fence, and treating the stucco as we had a problem with mildew in some areas. Our Air Conditioner was not properly installed and also needed to be corrected. Sergio at TruLine Painting impressed me. He is knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with and expected his crew to do professional work, and they do. All work was done in a timely and professional matter. They pressure washed, patched, treated, painted and replaced damage when necessary, and they left the work area clean at end of day. TruLine stands behind their work and the finished job it outstanding, so much so I will be using them to do some work on the inside of the house. I highly recommend anyone that needs work done to contact them, you won?t be sorry.
Description of Work: Pressure wash house completely to remove loose paint, mildew, and debris from all paintable surfaces. Apply mildicide and paint booster to curtail mildew and for water repellent to all eaves, fascia boards, and stucco. Prepare (scrape, sand thoroughly, caulk, fill holes & cracks, and undercoat, cover plants, walkways, and windows) all areas as required. Electric sand all fascia boards/areas that are peeling or cracking. Replace 20' of fascia board. Prime all woodwork sanded down to bare wood with the appropriate acrylic undercoat as necessary to insure that the tannic acid present in the wood does not bleed through the finish coats of paint. Repair all damaged stucco areas with the appropriate patching materials. Use a concrete emulsion bonder to insure that the stucco adheres to the substrate. Smooth out existing patched areas on the house. Use a flexible elastomeric patching material to fill the hairline cracks. Seal all repaired areas with an epo-block sealer to insure good adhesion of the finish coats. Apply 2 coats of a flat finish on stucco, and apply 2 coats of a semi-gloss finish on fascia board, doors & jams to be painted. Replace 3 windows and around 20' of wood gate/fence.

My job was scheduled for a week later. Francisco, the painter, did a fantastic job. He was very professional and worked very hard the entire day. We are so happy with our newly painted rooms. + -1 moreWe called Truline for a quote after doing a search on Angie's list. Stephanie was eager to accommodate and lined out Sergio to meet us on site. Sergio spent a lot of time with my wife doing color matches and suggesting ideas. In the end the finished work was above our expectations. People coming to our house for the first time are impressed with the work and we get a lot of positive comments. Sergio's crew was prompt and very courteous and professional. They did a daily clean up took their time with the finish work. I can't believe how much prep that was involved with the project. We had a dead line and Sergio visited the job frequently to insure we were on schedule. I've already gotten pricing from them for future work and look forward to working with them in the future

The room I wanted painted was good size, and included ceilings, walls, and baseboard, so I wasn't sure that they would be able to finish it in one day, but the painter they sent did finish it (2 coats on everything) plus all the additional work I had available, and did a really good job on everything. It looks great. I would definitely use them again.

I was contacted promptly after the purchase of the coupon and it was my decision to hold off for the holidays. Workmanship was excellent. I used 2 colors, one for the walls and the other for the doors. Painter was on time, very neat, and completed all work to my satisfaction in a timely manner. I have asked for an estimate to paint my living room/dining area. I would not hesitate to have Truline back for more work. In fact I can think of several other areas around the house that need painting and will ask for estimates for those areas, too. .
Description of Work: Painter painted a hallway which had 5 doors plus 2 wall cabinets, plus a ceiling in the hall. . One of the cabinets was in a wall and it had never been painted (was raw wood). The walls also needed prep-work. Painter also touched up a bedroom wall ceiling area that was very difficult to reach.

They were professional and did a very nice paint job. There are a few areas that could have been patched up better so the wall was smooth, but overall we are pleased with their work.

We had purchased a new entry door primed because buying it painted hiked ur cost up $2K! Ouch. So we found this Angies List Deal and purchased it. TruLine came out and looked and what we wanted to have done, gave me an extensive color palette to choose from, and Sergio said he would contact me with a date. A few days later he called and we set a date. Sergio and his worker showed up on time. We discussed what I wanted done and his worker did a fantastic job. (Wish I remembered his name!) When he was done with the front door & trim there was still time left on my deal so TruLine offered to paint all my newly installed baseboards that had only been primed. He did a fantastic job on those as well. Overall, I am very very pleased with my deal and with TruLine!

The actual painting took all day and included a front door, set of kitchen chairs and a cabinet front panel all of which now look better than when they were new. Sergio was professional and knowledgeable, and he was courteous enough to return all my calls right away. He and his staff were on time as scheduled and the cleanup was spotless. Tony did a terrific job repairing, preparing and painting our wood siding. It was a big job, an eyesore, but now it looks absolutely beautiful. Tony?s work was such an improvement that we just stare at it now. When they were done early, Sergio suggested that we have some additional projects painted, or some touch-ups done to the exterior to ?use up the time we?d paid for.? So in addition to the wood siding, we had a bathroom painted. That?s value! Sergio made sure we got our money?s worth, and we could not be happier with the results. The price for all the work was extremely reasonable. We wouldn?t hesitate to use TruLine again. I don't usually comment here, but the work was so extraordinary that I just had to share it!
Description of Work: TruLine was hired to repair and paint the wood siding of one outside wall that gets sun and weather all day long. A prior contractor was unsuccessful in repairing/painting the wall, leaving long vertical cracks in the siding and large gaps in the caulking where water could get in.

+ 0 moreThey sanded, prepped the doors and moldings that either weren't painted or were pealing in less than a year. They redid the wrought iron fence at the entry that the other painter did that looked horrible in less than a month. It now looks like brand new. They redid the fascia vents that had been painted and looked terrible. My house now looks wonderful and I feel so much better as I don't have to look at the terrible workmanship from the 'painter from h***'. They were punctual, provided all of the materials on site, except for the paint which I had.
Description of Work: They came out and looked at the jobs after I bought their special. They said they could do it and they did. I had a contractor a year ago that had the 'painter from h***', (not from Angies List). They fixed all of the work that this contractor either messed up or didn't do. TruLine Painting was very professional, courteous and very considerate of our home as they went in and out. I feel I received more value than I paid. I'd have them back in a heart beat.

Jorge painted deck railings and mullioned (lots of them) windows in the wind and cold. He was pleasant and thorough. Sergio, the supervisor stayed in contact and made sure that i was happy with the service. I would have no hesitation in using them again.
