TOP NOTCH TERMITE

I had Top Notch come out about 5 years ago when we bought my house. The inspector Trevor found some termite damage that the seller's termite inspector missed. Thankfully Trevor and Top Notch were able to repair the damage and get the seller to pay for it.. Anyways we just had Trevor come out again for a 5 year check up, I had seen some termite dust in my garage, shed and sprinkler box. Thankfully the damage was relatively minor and was able to be repaired easily. Lastly there was some damage I thought was termite that was wood root, Trevor gave me the name of a handyman that could repair the damage. i would definitely recommend Trevor / Topnotch in the future.

Top Notch Termite made the corrections that were outlined in the report, in addition they arranged the gas shutoff through SDG&E. They performed the work in the exact manner and timeframe that they had promised. This portion of the transaction could not have gone any smoother and I appreciate it.

Our experience was quite good with them. They found one small spot where there was some damage so they came back and treated it. The treatment and damage repair was about $250 and the inspection was free; there would have been a fee for the inspection had we not engaged them for the treatment. They were prompt, courteous and professional. They did not try to sell us something that was not necessary. We initiated the original call for the termite inspection and they came out and told us that there was not an issue for most of the house but there was a small spot which they pointed out and explained in detail and took care of it.

Their treatment was effective, and it was reasonably priced. Ultimately, I am pleased with the work.

They did an excellent job on preparation of the property for the termite treatment. They came few days after the treatment and did a final inspection report, which is important when you want to sell the property. They were very professional, they were on time and they gave honest opinion about few things. When the person came for the initial report he suggested us to repair all the damages around the house, get the treatment and then have a final inspection report done. He gave us a head start about how to approach repairing damages in the house. I was really pleased. The person did not try to push anything and gave honest advice.

I can say it is over. It was more stressful than it should have been and I had to stay on top of this job more than I would have liked. At the beginning, I asked for but never received instructions for my tenants in Spanish about what happens when a building is tented. I eventually found them on a web site and printed out on my own. The instructions for bagging food were not that good, and had to be re-done the morning that the tenting started. Lastly this company uses subcontractors. That meant the communications were not as "tight" and flowing as they shold have been. As far as I could tell, there were the company that took my money, another company that did the actual tenting, and a third company that certified the results.

Top Notch does only termite pest control and they did a very good job. I feel that they went above and beyond their duty. I really like how careful they were in handling my belongings and packing my things.
