My furnace is making some loud noise in my garage. I called TLServices to fix it. Their service technician came on Oct. 10th. I amout for my son's field trip but my wife is home to talk to thetechnician. The technician turn on the furnace and can not findthe noise. He assess the furnace and change out a control box.He asked for $480. My wife paid him. I came back and found thenoise is still present. I notified the technician immediately. Heacknowledged that the noise came from a different part of thefurnace and he needed to buy that part. 2 weeks went by, after acouple text in between, he claimed that he can not find the partand can not fix my furnace. Since my furnace issue was not remedied, I asked him to return the furnace to its original state and refund me the money. He does not agree.

Horrible attitude and no incentive or desire to perform work. The technician rushed his work, failed to perform a proper diagnosis of the problem and lacked professionalism.

Our 20 year old split system furnace/ air stopped working. We had replaced the thermostat ourselves which we thought may have caused the problem. Our service tech, TJ, was great. He identified the problem as lack of low voltage to the thermostat, and after checking the relays on the wiring at the furnace, replaced the transformer and installed a fuse so the fuse would blow instead of the transformer. The ac came on but blew the fuse. It was a short in the wiring from the furnace to the compressor. TJ crawled in the crawlspace under the house and fixed the wiring. Apparently a mouse had chewed through the insulation and exposed the wires which touched and shorted the system. TJ was proficient, fast, thorough and personable. And he cleaned up after the repair. We highly recommend TJ and TL Services Inc.

Contractor was selected through home warranty provider, AHS so I didn't expect much as I have had problems in the past with other contractors selected by the warranty company. I was pleasantly surprised. Nice guy, very knowledgeable, friendly and he fixed it. Had him back out do another repair and it went just as well. It did take a little time to get one of the parts, but I can't blame him for that. Showed up on time, fixed it without any hassles. Great experience. I would use him again even without the warranty.
