He came out and we got a quote for something more than what we bought. We ended up wanting to go with something else.

Purchased a deal of 8 hours painting. However we wanted a touch up job and the service provider wanted to do more of a thorough job. So, we didn't hire the company. The rating doesn't reflect the work, just that our requirements and the company's work methods didn't align.

It went well, they had it done by late afternoon.

Work started punctually on the first day and I found the crew to be very easy to work with. All surfaces received two coats of paint and the areas were left clean at the end of each day. The job went an additional day longer than expected so the crew worked on Saturday to finish the job which we appreciated. The crew was very neat and did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to recommend Tim Long Painting to my friends.

I had 4 bids on the job and needed it done within a budget. Tim wasn't the lowest price but we chose him because he was honest and straightforward and we felt confident doing business with him. His crew was professional, they consulted with us about how we wanted certain things to look and they cared about the finished product. They power washed everything on the first day and had a lot of prep work to do before they could paint. I can't speak highly enough about the whole experience and will gladly refer Tim to friends and family. The house looks fantastic and we'll be enjoying the new colors all summer. Thanks again Tim!

We used Tim Long Painting a couple of years ago to paint the interior of our newly epoxied garage, so when it came time to paint the exterior of our house, we remembered the good service, friendly crew and quality of work they performed, and we decided to go with a known and trusted source instead of trying to find a new painting professional to handle painting the outside of our 3,000+ sq ft house. Within a couple days Tim was at our property and provided us with a very reasonable estimate. We tried to shave off some cost by using our own discounted paint sources but Tim was able to beat our lowest price for paint thru his supply chain. He also advised us on color selection and agreed to include painting our fence as well without additional charge. When the job started, the crew was friendly and respectful which is an important factor to us. Additionally, they were careful of our plants, fixtures and electrical panels as we recently installed solar panels. Due to the extreme summer heat in Ramona, some of the exterior surface areas of our house had severely blistered, which required a lot of extra prep work as well as extra caulking. Other challenges were numerous bird nests (with plenty of bird droppings) up under the eaves around the perimeter of the house, as well as some derelict PVC running between several areas from an old compressed air delivery system which they graciously took down. The crew put forth extra effort to remove these blemishes, and although the job turned out to be a bit harder than expected, the price stayed the same and they worked even harder to stay on schedule. They did a fabulous job, our house now looks absolutely terrific, and we are eagerly looking forward to enjoying the outside even more this spring and summer. Would we hire Tim Long again? You bet we would.. In fact, we would like to replace a lot of old ceiling track lighting with canned lights throughout our interior and we are already planning to call Tim back to paint the ceilings when that time comes!
