The Window Cleaning Specialists

I live in a condo and have 4 fairly large, very dirty windows that needed cleaning. He washed the windows, the screens and the tracks very quickly. He brought his own cleaning solution so he didn't have to use my sink. I asked him also to clean my mirrored closet doors because he had advertised that he would clean up to 10 windows for the price. But after he left I noticed that they were not cleaned. He was very nice though and explained how to remove my screens so that I could clean the windows myself in the future. I appreciated that because I thought I had to remove the glass to clean each window, and they're very heavy. He showed me how to remove the screens instead which allowed access to the other side of the glass from outside. I wasn't able to move all the furniture away from the windows before he arrived, and when we spoke on the phone he hadn't stated that I should. After he arrived he said that he didn't need all of the furniture moved in order to reach the windows. When he did need it moved he did it himself. Later I realized that he didn't put any of the furniture back. Although I was able to move it myself, I think this would have been a nice gesture for him to move the furniture back when he was finished. I didn't know what the going rate was for this job, because I hadn't had anyone else clean my windows before. I thought the cost was a little high and may do it myself in the future. I learned from this experience that it is very important to state exactly what you want before the job starts.

The cleaner brought all of his own tools and ladder. He started on the outside, removed each screen and cleaned!. He replaced the screens then came in the house and washed the inside windows. He wiped all of the window casings and cleaned!!!! Good job.

We have always liked them. We have used them for years. We have a two story 3200 square foot home. They do a really good job as you don’t realize how much you need it. Then when they are done, it’s like you don’t even know that the window is there as they do a good job. They are nice people. We get a phone call and they follow up every once in a while just saying whether we need it. We ask them to give us a call back in a couple of months and they will wait to give us a call back. They are real professional when they come here. They get it done quietly and quickly. I really like them. We would use them in the future. It seems kind of expensive but I think in the very beginning years ago we think we did compare prices, but they do a real thorough job and it’s like we get what we pay for.

Very pleased with this company, especially communication. It was very easy to schedule the day and time for the work. I was given a two hour window of time to expect the cleaner (between 12:00 and 2:00 pm.) I received a call in the morning letting me know not to expect the cleaner until 2:00 or possibly 3:00. I really appreciated this early notification. I received another call from the cleaner, Omar, about 20 minutes before his arrival (approx 2:00) which I also appreciated. Omar was professional, personable and did a great job. My windows were crystal clear. It was a great job, I was pleased with the price and quality and will utilize them again.

The technician arrived on time and was very nice. He took his shoes off inside the house which was appreciated. The quality of the cleaning was not at all what I expected. I read all the wonderful reviews on Angie's List and so I thought this company was going to be quality. I should have known when he was finished in only 2 hours something was wrong. Yes, the glass was clean...a few spotted areas that I made he re-do, but the screens were awful and he barely wiped the tracks. He broke one screen and ripped another. I wasn't upset about that because screens are hard to get out and they do age..so no problem. But when there are still moths and spider webs in the corners and the frames are filthy I know he was not thoroughly. The screens looked like he didn't even wipe them even though I paid extra for that. I had him re-do a few windows but I could see that was a waste of time so I just paid him and had him leave. I spent the next couple of hours re-doing what I expected he was going to do and what I had expected a window washer would do. One of his excuses was that frames are only done when they presssure wash a house and if you want the corners of the tracks you need to hire maids who come in and deep clean. All of that should be spelled out before they even come. So..if you JUST want your glass cleaned...this might be a good compopany, but if you expect a complete window washing...you're going to be disappointed. I will never use this company again.

They are the best. I've had them out twice. They are awesome. They are better than fabulous. They are punctual. I had to reschedule. They are very understanding. They do a beautiful job. I can't say enough about My Window Man. I've never had a company like that.

Steve did a good job cleaning the 8 windows for my two story townhouse. He arrived on time and cleand both inside and out. He also recommended cleaning my skylight which I hadn't thought about. It was a bit challenging because it meant he'd have to get on the roof and he wasn't sure if his ladder would stretch high enough. It did. Unfortunately, after he came down we took a look at the skylight and saw that it would need another treatment. He climbed right up again. He did, unfortunately, knock off a thermometer that was attached to one of the windows which broke and will need to be replaced. He let me know right away what happened. Overall I was pleased with the service.

My Window Man did an excellent job cleaning all 28 windows inside and out at our house and some were huge and difficult to get to. There was only one guy (forgot his name because it's been too long posting this) and he did it in about 3 hours time. A couple of years ago, we hired another company (not from Angie's list) and they had two guys come out and it took them about 5 hours to complete the job. He was very professional and focused on the job at hand. We will definitely be using My Window Man for our next job!

I called on short notice but greatly appreciated Becky's ability to meet our needs as there was a function on the weekend and we had some serious "window issues" where the sun was making the situation very noticeable. Everything went well. The worker, I think his name was Omar, was very accomodating and thorough.

These guys are fabulous! They arrived a few minutes prior than their appointment time, and were very courteous. They finished the job on time, and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them.

They were on time and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. I wish they were a bit more thorough. They could have cleaned the window sills and wiped off the frames of the screens but the windows look fantastic. The pressure washer missed a couple of spots that I pointed out and I did not see him on a ladder. Could've done a bit more there. Also they skipped over the passageway on the side of the house despite the fact that he was out there spraying the house. It did not take him long enough to skip parts of the job (250.00 - 10%). I would use them again but I would probably try someone else first to see how they did. They did do better than the previous person who I had for about the same price (642.00 - 10% Angies List coupon). The home is 4000 s and has 49 windows.
