+ -1 moreGood service, good prices. Quite fast, too. I've had computers repaired there, and upgrades done such as adding memory and peripherals. Desktop systems as well as notebooks. Good people.
Description of Work: I haven't had the chance to use their services for a while now, but I have gone several times to The Portable Source for repairs and upgrades to computers I've owned. They have always been honest and straight-forward with me, giving good service at a reasonable price. Never had a problem.

+ -1 moreIt went well. The counter person was friendly, willing to work with me and gave me a good price. They seemed knowledgeable about what they were doing. I would recommend them.
Description of Work: I cracked the back of my hp laptop screen at the hinge and it was coming apart at the screen seam. They repaired the damaged hinge and screen.

+ -1 moreI called a company that was on Angie s List and they referred me to portable source. They took the computer to their repair shop. They promised to call back and give an estimate for fixing the problem, which they did, and they also called when the work was done.
Description of Work: My computer was freezing up and running slow. They repaired it in 4 days at the shop.

+ -1 moreWent very well. They took my laptop, promised to call back with a diagnosis withing 3-5 days. They called back in three days with a diagnosis and had my laptop back to me in perfect working order within a day. They were professional, courteous, conscientious and professional.
