The Grout Medic- San Diego

I had an appointment scheduled with a lady from The Grout Medic. When she arrived and got out of her car and as she was walking towards me I asked if she was (her name). She didn't say yes, she just said "What are we looking at today?" I thought that she had a hard time hearing me, so I asked her again if she was (her name). Once again she ignored my question and said "They send different people out to different job sites." Once again, I asked her "Are you (her name)?" Then she asked "How did you get my name?" I told her from the lady that set up the appointment. From that moment on it went downhill. She didn't show any type of identification and she should have introduced herself as an employee of the company. Definitely not professional, she seemed like she had a chip on her shoulder about something. I decided to have her leave my house and not continue to work with the company.

Don't bother to have them come out for a quote. The owner was rude from the moment she arrived at our house. She was curt, gruff and condescending in everything that she said. My husband asked her why she was being so rude and she yelled "I AM NOT BEING RUDE". I will definitely not use Grout Medic and probably won't use Angi's list again either.

Professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Very satisfied with the work.

The work was done in the timeframe estimated and it looks great. The folks we dealt with were friendly and professional.

Donna was on time for the initial visit and after reviewing the job said it was a little small for her company, but she'd find a way to fit me into her other commitments. Her employee Mike arrived on time and was very nice and professional. The job was done quickly and the area was left cleaner than he'd found it. He was also very careful of the newly refinished hard wood floors, and walked on paper towels so he wouldn't scuff the floors. I will hire them again in the future when I need grout or tile work done.

Our floor is 17 years old and was in need of a professional cleaning. Our floor looks new again. Mike and Alex were here on time and proceeded to clean our floor. They were both very professional and worked very hard to clean our floors. The job was supposed to be a 6 hour job but ended up being a 10 hour job. They never stopped working on their hands and knees. They paid attention to all the details.

I've never had my grout cleaned ever and when Grout Medic was through it looked like I had brand new flooring. I was extremely satisfied with their professionalism and expertise. I would recommend Grout Medic to anyone and I will definitely be using them in the future.

My shower floor had developed a lot of calcium build up due to our hard water in San Diego. The tile/grout flooring is fairly new (less than 5 years) but recently has not looked or felt 'new' even after regular cleaning. I called The Grout Medic of San Diego for a free estimate to see if they could bring the tile and grout back to a newer/cleaner look. The owner, Donna Smith, was able to come to my home the same afternoon I called for an appointment. It was refreshing to see a woman working in this male dominated field! Donna was not only professional in her appearance but in her knowledge of the problem and solutions. While inspecting the shower floor, she noticed some cracks and missing pieces of grout. She recommended removing/replacing the damaged grout and properly sealing it to avoid water damage to the floor below. The technician doing the repair work was polite, thorough, and very respectful. I'm very pleased with the look of my 'new' shower floor and would gladly use The Grout Medic of San Diego for any future grout/tile repair work!
