Quick response for estimate and, when accepted, scheduled quickly. Very professional and thorough.

Horrible. No service was actually provided, but they got paid anyway.....for now.

The representative came by a bit later than scheduled but not a big deal. He checked the house and sat us down to explain what he found and refer services. We already had another quote done and he found the same thing (drywood termites) in the same places as the previous company. He was very knowledgeable and even offered to come back himself and clean up the dead termites and excrement already present in the attic since it wasnt a service the company generally offers. He recommended the same services as the other company did: fumigation and a warranty (the other company offered a 'preventative' service also which terminix doesnt offer). We liked that they don't subcontract their fumigation team, they are employees of Terminix. The warranty offered by Terminix was for a longer period of time and at a better price. We were almost sold on the work but after reading the fine print on the warranty, realized that it does not cover drywood termites and will only cover new damage. Which the representative failed to mention to us. In addition, they don't do a thorough assessment of existing damage that can't be seen inside the walls so i didnt feel a warranty for new damage would be beneficial, since how would they know? We haven't picked a contractor yet but feel that a simple fumigation would fix our problems and be cheaper in the long run, even if another fumigation was needed 5+ years down the road.

We've used them for years and years. We have a contract with them. If anything comes up in-between their visits they will come out and take care of it without any additional charge, like if we have an ant problem or something. The price is reasonable but we haven?t used any other companies. It seems reasonable for what they do. We think all of them are over-inflated. We have desert tortoises in one area and they are real good about not using anything that is toxic for them. We never have a problem with bugs or spiders. They also dust off any of the beams for cobwebs. They do their job well. We've probably used them for 30 years. They will come right away if we call them. The only thing we dislike is that they sometimes come when we are not expecting them. They see that we are home and come around the same time but on a different day. They normally call an hour ahead or the night before to let us know that they are coming. They are always professional and real careful. We will keep using them.

I had a positive response to Terminix International and it wasn't because of anything negative that I decided not to go forward with them. It was more to do with the philosophy of the company and I liked the fact that the company I chose to go with was environmentally responsible and not necessarily with the other. Even though that they make an issue of that, they offer ecological alternatives. I liked that about that company and I don't know if that would actually work for me.

They couldn't quite connect the dots when I first contacted them even though I had the contract information for our house. They just blew me off, and the representative actually argued with me on the phone saying they were not responsible for the repairs. My real estate agent called them and suddenly they were very attentive. They have been contracted for many years (more than 20) to provide services to the house that I just bought. The former owner gave us another year of their contract. The house has severe termite problems and all that happened under their "care". The dry rot repairs were extremely poorly done. They had to replace a lot of wood and the quality of the carpentry was extremely poor, and the dry rot "patching" is already peeling off. I am completely disgusted with them.

See above. Per the new inspectors, "The damage has been there for YEARS"

They guarantee it for as long as you are using them. They will do any repair on any termite damage you have.

I had actually planned on using another exterminating company, but I was so impressed with how friendly and professional Terminex was when I called for basic information that I decided to go with them. We had a real issue with ants inside and out. I actually had to call them two extra times after the initial application, but each time they responded to my calls within a couple of hours and came out the same day or the next. The technician is very personable, always calls to touch base after he's been here and always leaves me a receipt to show that he's been at our home. It took two extra applications, but now we have no ant problem at all. And they don't charge for the extra applications should the first time not exterminate everything. So far I'm very pleased and will continue my service with them.

They actually come inside and spray for free. Their price is reasonable.

We are in our second year of service and could not be happier. Service providers are very professional.

I liked that they had a warranty and followed through with it. The service was very good. As far as the tenting, they didn't bother any of the shrubs or anything like that.

It was an excellent experience. They did a good job. There were no problems and the job was worth the price. They stuck to the initial estimate.

I have used them for about 20 years, or almost as long as I have had the house. They are really nice. They always call before they come so that I can put the dogs in the house. I have had no problems with the ants or the fleas, and if I would have a problem, all I would have to do is call and they would come right out.

It went very well when they came out to my house. I've always had good luck with them. They are always clean and polite and they always come when they say they are coming.

I have been using them for a long time and there are never any problems. They are hard working and reliable. They are through and there are never any signs of pests when they are through. They are a great company to have around and I would recommend them.

They were very good helping us out. The only thing I didn't like was the person they sent over who's name was John Erwin. He didn't do good work. They got the job done at the end and we were happy about that. I think they did a mistake sending John, but they quickly responded and did a good job.

When I had someone come out to the house to give me a quote, he tried to use high pressure to have me "sign today" to get the "best deal". I informed him that I had other companies scheduled to come out and give me quotes and that I was not going to make a decision until I had all quotes requested. He even asked to see the quote from the previous company in order to beat their price.

Failed to return calls twice, for return of ants, 4 weeks after initial treatment. The 800 number representative was fine, but the local exterminator was supposed to call back in 24-48 hours, but never did.

Rick Morgan, the inspector, was our contact throughout the procedure. He was courteous and helpful, even making a special trip out on his day off to inspect some larvae which appeared just after the fumigation. Fortunately, Terminix's lab found that they were just blowflies. We were grateful for their going the extra mile. Everything was done on time and no damage was done to exterior walls, plants, etc. They provide a 1 year guarantee, as well as a Retreatment Protection Program.

VERY POOR EXPERIENCE - TERMINIX TREATED MY PROPERTY IN MARCH 2005, AND WHEN I FOUND FULL INFESTATION IN OCTOBER 2005 (5 MONTHS LATER) THEY DID NOTHING TO ASSIST - EXCEPT OFFER TO DO MORE WORK AT $2000! NOT IMPRESSIVE, HIM BEHIND DISCLAIMERS, ETC.

NOW HAVE FULL INFESTATION, 3 MONTHS AFTER PRIOR REPORT FROM TERMINIX. TERMINIX IS OFFERING NOTHING TO STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK.

IT SEEMS LIKE THE TREATMENT IS WORKING, I HAVEN'T NOTICED ANY PROBLEMS. THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD. I'M A LITTLE SKEPTICAL, SO I'LL DEFINITELY LET YOU KNOW IF ANY PROBLEMS ARISE.

WE HAVE USED MIKE OLMEDO FOR SEVERAL YEARS, AND WE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH HIS SERVICE. NOT ONLY IS HE FRIENDLY AND RELIABLE, BUT HE KNOWS HIS BUGS! WHEN WE HAD AN ANT INFESTATION, HE TRACKED THEM INTO THE ATTIC AND CRAWL SPACES UNTIL HE WAS SATISFIED THAT THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED. WE ALSO APPRECIATE HIS WILLINGNESS TO WORK AROUND OUR SCHEDULE AND HIS CONCERN FOR OUR CHILDREN AND PETS WHEN SPRAYING.

THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
